Olivia Radford was determined to turn her back on the wealth and opulence of her childhood. Parting ways with a mother who wished she was never born, a father who couldn’t pick her out of a line-up & a misogynistic brother intent on ruining her life, leaving was the easy part. Surviving. That was a little trickier.
Hell-bent on making it on her own, with rent checks past due, a dwindling bank account & a phone filled with unsolicited d**k pics, Olivia stumbles into the office of one Mr. Jake Adams, a handsome man almost twice her age who knows all the right things to say to have her kneeling obediently at his feet. That is until…
On a night out with the girls, Olivia crosses paths with Theo, a six-foot-four model at a life drawing class. Standing there in his birthday suit, with a wicked grin on his face, his muddy green gaze watching her every move. Olivia can’t help but fall hard & fast. Tall, tan, tattooed, & he treats her like a princess. What’s not to like? But fate can be cruel & as secrets unfold, Olivia soon realises, true love is harder to hold onto when someone is out to cause her nothing but heartbreak.
Billie Jade is an avid reader, an unwilling procrastinator & she loves getting lost in fictional worlds with hot as sin book boyfriends. She writes both light and dark steamy contemporary romances. Age gap, friends to lovers, mafia, mask wearing bad boys - there's a little bit of everything.
She's a bun wearing mumma bear to three awesome mini humans, dog mum to a slightly unhinged but lovable Boston terrier named Gus, sometimes hilarious and always caffeinated.
If You want a book to suck you in & keep you hooked, look no further, the mind blowing plot twists are an added bonus, the pulse racing Smexy time a must.
Aswell as being an author Billie Jade Kermack is a makeup and sfx artist working in tv and film. She also creates dolls at Sid's Doll Emporium when the mood strikes.
I read this book on my tablet using the Kindle App.
This is the second book of the "Twisted & Fate Series" by the author, and I have enjoyed this book in the same manner I enjoyed the previous one, which is called "Veronica," in case you want to give it a go as well.
We are presented with a story where the main female character, Olivia, has no luck at all with online dating. We have to endure her older boss until Theo, a love-at-first-sight, appears in the play.
Olivia is fun, and her inner monologues are hilarious. The side characters are well-developed. The expected spicy scenes are just that—spicy and hot as hell. The story is enjoyable and extremely well-written.
If you are a fan of books with well written stories and spicy moments here and there, You should be reading this story; that is my complete recommendation.

😊What i liked -
✔ He Falls First/ Age Gap/Insta Love. ✔ My first reaction after putting the book down - Holy Cow, Holy Moly Guacamole, Holy Fish. ✔ I loved Olivia Livvy Liv. She was one hell of a girl. (what a sad a** card life dealt her) ✔ Theo was a perfect combination of sweet and spicy. ✔ I was so excited that I guessed a twist, but then I was punched with another. (i so did not see that coming) ✔Oh god this book is full of highs and absolute lows with tons of laughs and then tons of heartbreaks and tears.
🤔What could have been better -
✔ The inner dialogues were a bit too long but it doesn't make a difference in the end.

P.s - I thought Veronica was amazing (i still love it), but with this book Billie has outdone herself.
Wow. There is so much happening In this book. First off Olivia. She never had a loving family they only kept her close for her inheritance. She was trying to get out from her parents house. She started working at a strip club to save money. When she got home her $ was gone. She left and moved out. She ended up getting a job with her friend Sophie. Her friends took her out for a night of fun and dancing. Turns out they went to an painting class. This is where Theo comes in. He was the model for the class. Olivia could not take her eyes off of Theo. When her and the girls left Olivia was going to go home and the girls were going to go out so they parted ways and while Olivia was waiting for her ride she was mugged. Luckily before things got too far Theo came out and stopped anything else from happening. After that her cab came and she went home. A few hours later Theo showed up at her apartment. She was shocked about how he knew where she lived. He found her purse with everything in it. After that they were inseparable. Weeks later Theo wanted Olivia to meet his sister. That is where everything changed for her. There were so many twists that night. I won’t say what happened. I loved the book and everything that happened in the book. It was messed up some of the things that happened but that’s what makes for a good book. Olivia and Theo’s connection was off the charts. I hope you have another book with a continuation of their story.
This was a light hot read with a great storyline! Olivia’s life is a mess but she keeps moving forward. Just when she least expects it, she meet Theo and they two have instant chemistry. I loved watching this two together and had many laugh out loud moments! It was a great read about some great characters!!
It took me a while to get into it but boy was Theo and Olivias story so good. This isn't your typical love story with the twists. The chemistry was great and it was well written
This book starts off slow and build speed. You want to shake the main character for falling for the wrong guy, but this is an amazing read. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I thought this book was your normal romance. Boy, was I wrong. Olivia Radford is sick of everything that comes along with her well-to-do family. She is the black sheep and only tolerated because of the inheritance left to her. She wants to make it on her own and to do that she needs a job. This job starts a year long relationship with a married man that refused to take no for an answer. She got away from him after she found out he was married but he did not let her go willingly.
After a night that was comprised of drawing a nude male model instead of the clubbing that was promised, Theo Andreas saves Olivia from a mugger. Because she also made an impression on him, Theo brings Olivia her belongings. They start a whirlwind romance that is made in heaven. The book doesn’t end there.
Olivia’s life is far more twisted than she thought. The amount of people that want to hurt and ruin her are stacking up and she didn’t even realize they existed. Sure, she knew her family didn’t like her. This is on a whole other level of deceit. The time and patience that was taken shows how cruel all involved are. Will Theo listen and forgive? Can she get back the one man she ever loved? Things take an even bigger turn when Theo is in an accident. How can they ever get over this?
This is such an emotional book. This love story is crazy and twisted in all the good ways. There is a lot going on, but I needed and loved every second of it. I cannot express how much you should read this book.
This is my first read from this author, but it will not be my last. Olivia is a beautiful story that is intense and heartbreaking, there was a good plot twist towards the end and the banter was on point. The friendship between the FMC and her friends was great. The Main couple face many trials before and during finding each other but still end up bound to one another.
This is one of those books that you are unsure if you want to read but I recommend you give it a try as you will have no regrets in the end. This book is so good but also has lots of spice. It is fast paced and the characters are well written and developed.
The story was a bit wordy with the inner monologue before the characters actually spoke but, i truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend you give it a read. I will be read more for this author.
Olivia is an aspiring author, so of course she is the black sheep of her family. When she left the safety of her family’s money, she is doing whatever she has to do to make ends meet until she receives her grandmother’s inheritance. When she finds a job as an assistant to a CEO, she starts to fall for him. And by fall I mean Netflix and chill 😜
Theo is a tattooed, super sexy man from the corporate world that is also obsessed with music and motorcycles. He falls for her and attempts to pick up the pieces her ex left behind.
This book is super spicy but sooo good. I could not put it down! It’s so fast paced and the characters are so well written. This is the first book I’ve read from BIllie Kermack but I will definitely be reading more of hers!!
I am lost for words. This book is amazing! It gives you all the feels, with extreme highs and extreme lows, which encompasses the most amazing story. Just know that you need to read it. Im not giving anything away.
I seriously struggled in the beginning with the writing style, but once I plowed through, you really get immersed in the story and Olivia's struggle with falling for the wrong guy. You want to yell and scream at her, all while laughing at some of the stuff that goes on. Boy does this end up worth it in the end.
Olivia a unlucky with her love life She loves spending time with her girlfriends at the bar she tells them about her sexual encounter with her boss She’s an author who’s got no money and even though her family is rich she refuses to ask her mother for help she’s looking for a job then she meets Mr Adam’s who’s a lot older then her who’s about to interview her Great read
I’m not gonna lie, I was going to DNF this at 18%, weird I know seeing as I’ve given it four stars.
Don’t get me wrong, the story was great. There was a good twist plot towards the end and the banter was on point. The friendship between the FMC and her friends was great.
It was the inner monologue I couldn’t cope with. It was at least two pages long before the characters spoke to each other. Now I love a detailed book but this was just too much for me. I do not need to know every single detail of inner monologue and spend most of my time reading it.
This was a massive no for me and I ended up skimming most of the book because of it. As I said, the plot to the story, when the characters actually finally spoke and the twist was superb hence the four stars.
If you don’t mind a shit tonne of monologue then I highly recommend it.
OMG!! OMG!!! This book!! You all HAVE to read this book! It is steamy, heartbreaking, & so hot!! This book has the MOST AWESOME plot twist I have EVER read!! Olivia is a writer & is trying to get published at some point. She makes some turns along the way & you are NOT going to see it coming!! HOLY SH*T this book is so freaking AWESOME!! I HIGHLY recommend this book & author!! This book is releasing on 9/24!!
There's so much I need to say about this book. None of it good. How anyone can rate this book more than 2 stars is beyond my comprehension. I had to look up the author to see if she was a young teen because it was so bad. To learn that she's an avid reader herself was a disappointment because she should know better. The book was a waste of time to read but it had so much potential. The author had a decent plot/storyline in mind but failed at the delivery. First let me say that this is mostly a single POV since it's Olivia's side of the story for all but 3 or 4 chapters. We barely got Theo's POV at all, which is sad because he was a beautiful person. So much more interesting and in tune with his thoughts and feelings than Olivia, it seemed. But we got hardly nothing from him. Then, although I do love an age gap romance, the authors choice for a nickname for Olivia is so weird and creepy. When Theo called Olivia "Little One" I cringed. Seems so predatory! I get that hes older than her but not by much at all! And even so, that's a nickname a parent chooses for their kid! Then! The first 12 chapters (113 pages) were a complete waste of space. The book starts with Olivia's story with Jake. So I thought Jake would be the main character with her. Well, No, he's not. Sooo much detail and sex was discussed about a man that was completely irrelevant. Yes, irrelevant because the story wasn't about him at all. It was about Olivia and Theo. So why include so much on a person that doesn't mean anything. The author never mentioned why Jake was so full of hate for Olivia or Theo. It only said that he just didn't want to lose. So everything he did and all the cruelty and evil he caused was based on nothing?! There was no history! Then his brother was included out of nowhere and he was just as cruel and again, for no reason! There was no background to anything! The same applied to Olivia's parents and brother! They despised her. Why? Who knows! There was no mention at all of past abuse or whatever happens that causes one to hate someone so much. So the author wrote about people making other people's lives miserable, ruining love, almost killing someone, ruining reputations, ruining a marriage and children, all for no reason at all?! Then, when everything explodes so cruelly, Olivia has nothing to say?! Really?! She could've had Jake and his brother arrested for what they TRIED to do to her and failed. Yet she never told anyone about that. She should've said it to at least defend herself and prove that on that night, nothing happened and what they tried to do failed because she defended herself and escaped. But no, this author wrote that scene to make Olivia to be such a coward and not speaking her truth. The story/plot didn't have a backbone! I was so confused while reading and so incredibly frustrated that i wanted to scream at the author. I didn't give up on reading the book because one, i don't give up on something i start, and two, because i was really hopeful that something was going to make sense in the end. But no, that never happened. So many loose ends were left untied and so many questions about other people mentioned left unanswered. Soooo much unnecessary details were given throughout the book about the clothes everyone wore, descriptions about the rooms they were in, etc. for nothing. So much time wasted on thoughts Olivia was having versus actual things happening. So for example, when Olivia went to meet Theo's sister, her walking to the door was 2 or 3 pages long!!! Because that scene was filled with thoughts Olivia was having instead of her walking to the door. This went on constantly in this book. So needless to say, this book is uneventful, because nothing happens that's worth while since so much thinking is happening that you lose track of what was actually happening by the time you finish reading Olivia's thoughts or the descriptions of clothes and rooms. It was ridiculous and extremely frustrating. Then, in the end, when it had so much potential to be someone beautiful and romantic, it ends with a sense of incompletion. Like, you were robbed of details and information that you now wanted. Something beautiful. It just ends with sort of a "things will get better soon" kind of thing. Very strange. And no, there isn't a part 2 to this story. I wouldn't have read it anyway.

Love at first sight, instalove, he falls first, tatted MMC, strong & feisty FMC, Dual POV, British romance, SA
I’m so obsessed with Theo & Olivia’s love story. This is definitely one of those happy ever afters that is earned after much heartache.
When the plot twist came I thought I had already guessed it. I was like oh how predictable. Then that plot twist was followed by 5 more plot twists until I was so damn stressed out I couldn’t stop reading until I finished.
The beginning of this big was really good. There was so much background laid. I didn’t understand all the need for detail. Once you get to the end of the book everything makes perfect sense! I will say a struggle a bit with the middle of this book. It was a little slow. At the 3/4 mark she dropped bombshell after bombshell and had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down, I devoured the end of that book. I was bummed it took so long to get to all the chaos in the book because that was the best part. This book is just over 450 pages. We definitely should’ve gotten some of this messy drama before page 300. Especially because then the end of the book felt rushed. Like she was trying to fit all the important things in the end of the book. Thank god for that epilogue because she really left us hanging.
I would highly recommend this book. It’s very well written and gets you so invested in their love story.
I gave this 3 🌶️ got spice. There’s a LOT of spicy scenes but some of them are more implied. But there are 4-5 relatively detailed scenes with Olivia & Theo. There’s also the added bonus of spicy scenes with Olivia and Jake.
Two of my favorite quotes: ‘I said sit! Oxygen is optional. If I wanted you to hover Olivia, that would have been my word choice.’ ~ Theo
‘You know how I feel about you right Little One?’ He says softly. I fumble to find the words, tongue tied as anticipation steals away my ability to construct a response. So, I simply nod my head and hope that it is enough. ‘Good, because I’m about to fuck you like I hate you,’ ~Theo
**I received this book as an ARC to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Another fantastic roller coaster of emotions in the Twisted Fate series! From the start of this story, Olivia is opining with her friends about the relationship that just imploded with Jake. We then learn the ins and out of said relationship, a workplace romance that was hot and heavy, and very intense, until the day Olivia discovered a devastating truth and her world was flipped upside down. So with no job, and no love of her life, her friends whisk her away for a fun night out at what they expect to be a secret, underground club. What it actually turns out to be is a life drawing class, and the ‘life’ they are drawing is a gorgeous, tattooed man that has Olivia’s libido standing up and taking notice. But as the night ends and they move on, a single event puts Olivia and the man in each other’s paths, if only briefly, but memorably. It also opens the door to a future connection, one that leads to so much more for the pair.
This book will definitely take you on a journey. Olivia and Theo’s relationship is sweet and sexy and full of so many wonderful moments. I truly loved following their path into love. Which is what makes it all the harder when things start to fall apart so spectacularly, and from a catalyst that you might not expect, and definitely brought up even more questions and concerns. And the more things progress, the messier and more twisted they become - even when you think there couldn’t possibly be more heartache….BAM! Crushing, heartbreaking twists take hold, and you wonder how things can ever really come back from everything that transpires.
This story is dirty, messy, beautiful, tragic, steamy, blissful, devastating, wonderful, and nearly every emotion in between. Olivia and Theo have to truly fight for their HEA, and fight they do. I absolutely loved their story, and their HEA is truly perfect for them. And don’t miss out on the epilogue/bonus chapter, because it’s wonderful.
The story is told in first person pov from the FMC Olivia, and then later we hear from the dreamy Theo. I love first-person pov stories because I feel more of a connection with the character, and it's the only pov I prefer to read from ( unless it's a children's book, lol)
With that being said, I love Olivia's inner monologue because this is me whenever something is happening in my life I go through the same inner thoughts.
Olivia is a hilarious character, and I really enjoyed getting to know her, especially through her inner monologue. Some parts were so funny. I laughed out loud, and my husband gave me the eyes 👀 and I love the sex and city vibes between Olivia and her friends!
But then we learn more about Olivia's past ( which sucks), and it takes a turn from there. Oh my! JAKE I have hated characters before, but wow, do I >HATE< this man! Yes, hate is a strong word. Honestly, if there was another word I could use, I would because he sucks!😡 But then Olivia meets Theo, and he is so dreamy, and I absolutely LOVE him🥰😍 I also love his inner thoughts and getting to know him. Such a wonderful man!
There are some parts where I'm like, why did this have to happen? I just want Olivia to be happy! There are so many emotions reading this book. Laughter and anger for sure. And then sadness 😔 wow that ending !!! But I read the bonus epilogue and bravo. This is by far my favorite love story it was just so beautiful and not what I expected. I really believe this should be a movie that I would gladly rewatch over and over again. And the TWIST within the TWIST! Honestly, I could go on, lol.
**I HIGHLY recommend this book**

**Thank you to the amazing author for an ARC copy in exchange for a review**
Olivia is trying to get her life together. She's a personal assistant by day and an aspiring author by night. Having recently had her heart broken her friends band together to take Olivia out for a night on the town, and they end up at an art club. What they dont realize is that they will be painting at this club. A model. Specifically, a nude male model. And holy hell, is he a sight to behold. A tattooed greek god with an impressive appendage that leaves all the girls gasping. But this man has eyes for only one of them, Olivia. Her quirky nature and frazzled state enamors Theo, and he finds himself drawn to her. At the end of the night, Olivia assumes she will never see the gorgeous man again, but fate has other plans and pulls them together time and time again until neither can resist the attraction any longer.
What a fantastic book by an absolutely amazing author. This woman knows how to write a love story with all the highs, lows, and in betweens. You will laugh out loud. She will rip your heart out, break it, and put it back together again. When you turn the final page and close the book, you will not be the same. The story and characters stay with you long after you have finished.
Olivia is hilarious. Her inner dialogue and slips of the tongue will have you cracking up throughout the book. But she is a strong fmc. Life deals her blow after blow, yet she picks herself up, dusts herself off, and gets back on the horse.
Oh, and Theo? He's a dream. Tall, dark, tattooed, and talented (with his hands and other unnamed body parts). He gives you all the butterflies and coochie flutters, being the right amount of sweet in the streets but a freak in the sheets. He's most definitely top book boyfriend material.
Add this book, as well as her other one, Veronica, to your TBR. You won't be disappointed.
Oh! How excited was I to spot this book ready to be devoured! Having read (and loved!!) Veronica back in June this year, I was so excited to have the chance to read this, book 2 in the twisted fate series.
Although this is part of a series, this is designed to be a standalone read and it works beautifully!
I am totally obsessed with the new cover designs. This definitely gives a clear view of what's inside and I love it!
In this book we hear Olivia's story. Olivia wants to escape her childhood. All the wealth in the world is not enough with parents who just have no time for you and a brother intent on ruining her life. But can she survive out there alone?
So, I'm definitely saying nothing else about the plot here! The blurb is great (look it up) but there was the best twist in this that I did not see coming at all! Just brilliant!
I loved Olivia and the fact that she's the one coming from wealth, which is often the other way round in this genre. Her and her friends just had the best relationship and it was great seeing them together a d hearing the banter they all have with each other.
Again, I was a little frustrated that the main couple took so long to get together. There was a lot of inner monologue going on and I wanted to pop in and give them both a nudge! However, I have to admit to doing this a lot myself. Coming from a place of anxiety or being uncomfortable with surroundings can prompt this, so actually I should be more tolerant! as this is a pretty normal and relatable trait.
A well paced read with lots of fun and humour and a great deal of spice to get you racing through to the end.

This book took me a while to get into- not sure if it was the writing style or the speed in the beginning, but as the book got further along I was HOOKED!
Olivia has not had the best luck in her love life or her career (same girl, same). Wanting to support herself while she tries to get published, she works as a PA and finds herself in a relationship with a married man who thinks he can have whatever he wants. It isn't until she finds out that he is married that she really tries to get away but this man won't take no for an answer.
After a night out with the girls that is anything but routine (ahem drawing instead of clubbing away the pain of life), she ends up meeting Theo and from there sparks fly. What was supposed to be one night leads to so much more, with twist upon twist and the levels people will go to ruin her, that as the reader you really begin to wonder if this woman is meant for anything other than disappointment. I loved how you got to see just how strong Olivia is- especially through her inner monologues. With everything that happened because she turned her back on the family inheritance owed to her, you would think that she would just crumble, but she is seriously tough female. Throw in the chemistry that she has with Theo and this book is FIRE.
Highly recommend and once you get going this is one that you are not going to be able to put down!
Thank you to the author and Hazel’s Booktours for sharing a copy of this book with me!!
Trigger Warnings: SA, abuse of power, mention of stalking
Starting with a good dedication is always a plus in a book… especially a romance but when you read a book from this author (I also had the pleasure of reading Veronica from her), you have to have tissue at hands!! A story about love qnd devotion and suffering and hope. Olivia went through it all and she is such a strong qnd resilient woman. But at the end of the day she is also simply a woman, who found herself a man who worships her and she wants to believe the fairytale could happen to her to. At first I thought this book was supposed to be an age gap office romance. But it turned out being something completely different. A love story happening through time and tested by evils. Some very heavy and triggering themes, dealt with, in the narrative that made the story so much more compelling and interesting. And a love interest that is actually as much a cinnamon roll as he is a daddy (iykyk)!!!! This book was really good and I’m glad I had the opportunity to read it!!
Olivia’s boss is deemed Jake f*cking Adams for a reason. He is manipulative and deceitful and he has his sights set on Olivia from the day he hired her. Spicy office romances tend to get complicated fast. This rollercoaster is no different. What is different… Theo. After meeting during a fated girl's night out, Olivia comes face to face with everything this 6’ 4” devastatingly handsome man has to offer. Between the plot twists, heartbreak, and a tiny sliver of hope…. Will Olivia get her happily ever after with the man who brings the light into her life? Will Jake f*cking Adams continue to haunt her?
I will admit, this book started a little slow compared to what I usually read but once the story got started, I couldn’t put it down. I feel like this is one of the most relatable romance books. It shows the major complications that some couples face and highlights that true love is never easy. There will always be ups and downs but if you choose to fight day in and day out, for each other, you can persevere and be stronger.
Overall Review: 3.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice level: 3 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (it had quite a bit of spice in it but, I have read books with more) I really wanted to give this book more stars but, I wanted to be honest. This book was overall a nice book with a good plot. Olivia(livvie) has been unlucky in love and in careers. As a struggling author to be, Olivia is working to get published. She has a a thing with a man who is definitely not the “right” one. However, after a rough night out with the girls she meets someone. There were some things that bothered me about the book and it took me some time to really understand what was happening. The first few chapters were confusing and frustrating. There were a lot of words but, no depth to them. I couldn’t really understand what was happening in the story line. Theo and Olivia’s story is beautiful and enchanting. There are several twist and turns in the plot line! It was an enjoyable book. I would definitely recommend it!
Olivia is an amazing read, perfect for an episode of spice when needed, and also an adrenaline read with twists. The author is way more descriptive so that the scenario seems surreal, which will be easier for imagination. I must admit that for nearly half of the book I felt like I had to read so much of detailing and was wondering why. And when it started making sense, I could realise that the author was trapping us with so many subtle details, that may seem harmless to us but become a major plottwist if not paid enough attention. Nobody will be ready for the rollercoaster ride, once the plot starts to pick the pace. I’m suggesting Olivia to people who need a relaxed read, but also expect drama in their books (and lives).
Olivia is one of those books that you are not sure want to read but once you do, you have zero regrets. This is a first-person dual point of view novel that will leave you wanting to yell at the main character for her mistake in loving the wrong person to wanting to gather her close when she discovers a heart wrenching betrayal. Olivia grows throughout the book and the maturity she has at the end is amazing.
Without giving spoilers, you will find witty banter, an emotional connection to the main character, spice (Theo may be your next book boyfriend), a huge twist and deep love. This book is well worth your time.
Oliva and Theo are such a swoon worthy couple! If you enjoy well written books with good plot, plenty of steam and romance, and some great twists then this is a great one to read!
Oliva (FMC) is an aspiring author who is trying to make ends meet. She lands a job as an assistant and meets Theo. It is one of those awe inspiring, emotionally gripping types of romances that lead the main characters through a roller-coaster of emotions and growth.
