Her works include sci-fi mystery SALVATION series, consisting of THE SUBJUGATE and THE SENSATION (published by Angry Robot Books, UK), which is being developed for TV by Aquarius Films and Anonymous Content (True Detective, Mr Robot, The Alienist).
THE SUBJUGATE is also currently being studied at two German universities (Düsseldorf and Cologne) as part of a program on Australian speculative fiction, in conjunction with the Centre for Australian Studies.
Born in the seaside/country town of Geraldton, Western Australia, she moved to Perth (Western Australia) to study film & television/creative writing at Murdoch University, earning her a BA in Communication Studies. Earth is preparing for an invasion. They don't know when, where or if it will occur but, they're doing everything in their power to be ready.
Carrie and McKinley struggle to come to terms with events, both personal and professional. it's tense and at times sad. However their love and commitment leap off the page. There's nothing like a physical and humerous show of love to make you chuckle if not outright laugh. The kids are growing and their individual personalities are beginning to shine.
Harris has his hands full. With family and work. Also leading the JEMS is going to be a challenge.
This book is un-put-downable. There may not be an active invasion happening but, there is plenty of action in getting all stations ready for such an event. If this is the calm before the storm then heaven help us the next book is going to combust.
