Malea Fashion District: How Successful Managers Use Financial Information to Grow Organizations, 2 Edition

Rate this book
Malea Fashion District introduces the main concepts for the financial management of an organization through the story of an entrepreneurial company as it grows. The book uses the story of two women as they grow their company to offer the intuitions of the main financial management concepts. It is written to be engaging and easy to read, emphasizing the need and application of the concepts rather than the technicalities. The book can be read individually by anybody interested in management or it can be used in undergraduate and graduate courses. Previous editions have succesfully been used in these three contexts. At the high school level, some people have assigned it for students as an introduction to management. At the undergraduate and graduate level it has been used in general management courses as well as managerial accounting courses. The book has a website that extends the content of the book with additional contents, exercises, videos, and other material.
