But 5 stars for enticing you to go down into rabbit holes. So much more I want to investigate!
As the author concluded: “History is a wonderful subject to indulge oneself in-it shouldn’t just be reserved for the classroom or the coffee-stained offices of an old university building. Whichever stories you enjoyed the most will likely have some interesting context behind them. Why did a comedian create a fake society for clothing animals? Why do so many popes have eccentric stories attached to them? Go and read, Google, watch, or listen to as much history as you can; it will surely only enrich your life.”

Just what it says: this book is a collection of 1-1 1/2 page stories of very weird or funny happenings or incidents from all over the world and through history. I got it for my 10 year old grandson, but there's too much crudity, bathroom, sexual stuff (though tastefully done, not explicit) for a child, but will be interesting for most adults, as long as he/she isn't very sensitive.

Once again Bill O'Neill has come up with 127 stories that I never heard of before and ones I'll never forget thinking about.

I wanted to enjoy this book, however, I found it boring. Some of the tales were entertaining, but at the end of the day I could not recall any of the tales. They just did not impress me,

I did not know almost all of these facts, so it's wonderful for building knowledge. With that said, some of these stories are just plain dumb. Also, they are way too repetitive. I give it 3 stars because the bad stories suck, but the good ones are amazing.
