What if Cinderella were a man and the prince a witch? A wicked good witch.
Strange happenings in the magic realm are turning Brielle Quinn’s life upside down. She’s been told to let things happen on their own and not to interfere. So difficult—and unfair!
On the night of her neighbor’s birthday party, Brielle’s drunk a little too much tequila. While on her way back to her home next door, a man calls to her and plants the kiss of a lifetime on her lips. Only thing is, Brielle doesn’t have the first clue about who he is. Or what he looks like. Yet she can’t get him out of her mind. Or the taste of his kiss off her lips. How is she ever going to find him?
Add in a cryptic vision, a cigar-smoking messenger, and three newcomers to Satcher Glen, each with a mystery to unravel. Could one of these be the man who had kissed her? And how can she find the answer without interfering with the magic realm?

I read book 1 in this series, and immediately went into the 2nd book as they are both that good. This book focused more on Brielle whereas Charli was more of the focus of book #1. This series is just so light, an easy read and entertaining!!! You really should try this series/author!!! I love humorous cozies, and my husband caught me ‘laughing out loud’ multiple times. I took a 2 book reprieve from my typical fantasy or political thrillers to ‘clean my book pallate’ and it did the trick!!! I found these 2 books totally on accident, and so glad I did as I haven’t heard of this author before. The titles are catchy, the plots well thought out and the characters continue to develop. I’m eagerly awaiting the next in this very good series. There were a few ‘wrongly used words’ but errors were very minimal and not annoying!!
This is an excellent story of wicked good witches! Brielle gets the focus of the book this time. I love so much about the story. The characters are fabulous and the plot is intriguing. I love how all the layers connect - even when I didn't think they could! The story is all about connections and it will warm your heart and make you smile. A fantastic read!
This story was one I chose from an E reader site as a change from my typical dramas and mysteries. I needed a break! Sweet and fun story that is different from most eventual romances, involving two sisters who literally and magically clean homes. Lots of plot devices that kept me reading nearly nonstop! I will read more of Ms. Gilmore's novels!

I loved this book, the unique, deep characters, and witches doing good work. Premonitions to be realized, and the sisters solve an unexpected mystery. I immediately bought book one and sent it to a friend. You will come away happy and wanting more.
I like this variation of witches. Not so “off the charts” as witchy things occur. I think it is “clean” enough as far as the romance goes as long as it doesn’t get anymore “descriptive”. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I want to know more about Stone and hope more will be revealed about what kind of work he does.
Two of the best books written..They had everything I love in a book. I hate to have to wait for the next book, but will read Amazing Gracie while I wait.lol Thank you for the enjoyable hours spent reading these books. You have a great way of writing that draws you in and never bores, but keeps the reader spellbound from beginning to the end.Well Done!
I love this type of story about magic and family and love. But this series is even more fun for me to read because I live in Magnolia, Texas and even though the town and county are fictional, a lot of other places mentioned are real and I feel like I know exactly where the characters are while living their fictional story. Thank you Carol Kilgore!
Love these characters and the peaceful way they live. This one had fun twists and a happy ending! Makes you want to walk in the restaurant and become part of their family.
This is as great a story as Charli’s. The characters are people you’d want to know. I absolutely love that the story does not have to include murder. Please keep letting us know how they are all doing.
I enjoyed reading this book! I love the two sisters and their magic. I also n enjoyed the other characters. The mystery of how Aunt Joan is fits into all the events has me guessing.
Wonderful cozy mystery. Read both books in the series and will watch for more. Characters are delightful and I love the byplay between the sisters Got an afternoon set down with a taco and tea and enjoy yourself.
The characters in this book are interesting and easy to follow. The romance progresses rather fast but it is just a story. Sometimes it seems almost real. Great writing.
This was another great book in the series and we learn a lot more about Brielle and Charli. They are sisters and good witches. Their specialty is clearing negative energy out of places and items. They help and make new friends in this book. I like that they don't keep their special powers a secret from people close to them. This was definitely a feel good story and looks like their may be a new person with special powers in their life. I am very anxious for a third book in the series.
Another wonderful book from an author that is new to me. Some great scenes and amusing characters. Well written with a good plot. I hope there will be more books in this series.
Read it again July 2025. Love the book! I can’t find another one in the series. I wonder what happens with the author.
