Nanny For The Billionaire Bosshole

Rate this book
When I hired my little sister’s best friend,
I knew I was getting a nanny for my baby girl.
What I didn’t know was I would become a father again.

When little miss sunshine comes into my life,
All I can do is roll my eyes.
But my daughter loves her.

Despite being polar opposites, we grow closer.
And I feel my hard exterior crack.
When things get heated after a ball,
I can’t stop thinking about her.

She says it was a mistake and that my sister would kill us.
I don’t care.
The magnetic pull between us is impossible to resist.
And we can’t stay apart.

When I make a mistake and break her trust,
She ends things.

I will stop at nothing to get her back.
Especially when I find out about those two pink lines.

Nanny for the Billionaire Bosshole is an enemies to lovers, best friend’s brother, surprise baby romance. No cheating, no cliffhangers. Just steamy enjoyment, HEA guaranteed and two epilogues included! It contains some brief use of strong language. Enjoy!

An author needs to do their research before writing. The author here writes a story about a woman going to school to be a teacher but says she will be getting an internship after graduation. Teachers don’t do internships. They do student teaching BEFORE graduating to earn their teaching cert. the author also seems to have no experience with little children describing a kindergartener as taking a nap after school and learning what sounds animals make even having her make a video of “What does a cat say? What does a donkey say?” Then actually has the child not know the answer. These are characteristics of a toddler/preschooler. The author presents as being very immature and inexperienced herself in the ways of the world. The characters in this story lack emotional development and interaction that are typical of grown adults.

Logan is a widow with a 5 year old daughter and hires his sister’s best friend as a nanny. This story was predictable. Joyce has a sunny personality and Logan is grumpy. Joyce and her best friend Jane are both immature which was annoying. Outside of that I enjoyed the book. I received and ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Joyce is sitting in a room full of people, waiting for her interview for a nanny position.  It is her turn for her HR interview and she is so nervous.  In the middle of her interview, Logan walks in demanding to know if they have a nanny for him yet!   He decides to finish the interview with Joyce himself.  It helped that his sister Jane sent her to apply plus her amazing resume, so he hires her as daughter, Anna's, nanny.    Joyce enjoys her job and she and Anna grow close.  It is Joyce's turn to 'overnight' at the cancer clinic with her mom.  They have an interesting conversation about her having a potential crush.  Time goes on and Joyce and Anna go to feed the ducks with Jane.  A beloved neighbor, Mrs. Ritz joins them and invites them to a community 'ball'.  Logan is please to hear that Jane and Joyce will also be at the ball.  He seems to be looking forward to Joyce being there.  The evening goes on and he has several deep conversations with Joyce then wanders off.  Jane takes Anna home to get her to bed. Logan offers to drive Joyce home as he feels it is too far at that late hour to call for a ride and not safe.  She finally agrees to stay at his home in the guest room.  The next thing they know is they are both in the same bed!  Joyce quickly realizes what happened and insists on getting a ride home.  Things are awkward between them for a while but they get into a routine.  She has to  remind him that he is working too late and she is missing important classes.  He vows to leave work earlier on school days.  He cannot stop thinking of her.  Finally, he gets permission from little Anna to ask Joyce out.  Joyce is reluctant until Anna begs her so she agrees.  Their date is a success ending in her apartment later!   Things heat up with her mom and with others close to her.  Will things continue to grow with Logan?  There is a force that is trying hard to get in the way and tries to destroy what they have between them.  You won't want to miss the final chapters!  I had a hard time putting this book down and it felt like I was actually in the book observing everything that was going down.  So many emotions, I wanted to step in!   I think this is probably the best work by Lexi Landon that I have read so far!  Well done, and I cannot wait for the next book!

Logan needs a new nanny for his daughter Anna, when he steps in to make the process quicker, he hires Joyce, a friend of his sister, Jane, from college.
Joyce needs a job to pay the bills, help feed her family – the usual reasons. Everything is going well until they kiss, now they have a whole lot of new problems to deal with.
This was an interesting story line: Logan is grumpy and snappy, all of which he doesn’t realise until it is pointed out to him. Joyce doesn’t think much of herself due to her struggles in life – this should have made her proud. There were a few times that I was exasperated by Jane’s behaviour and felt she got off lightly, also Joyce at times behaved very immature.
I enjoyed the book mostly, however the ending seemed to drag on a bit which is a first for me, usually they can be hurried.

Joyce is waiting to be interviewed for a nanny position and is worried because of how many people are there for it. When she is being interviewed Logan storms in asking if a nanny has been chosen yet. Then he sits down to interview Joyce and ends up hiring her. Joyce's home life is in turmoil right now because of her mother being sick. So, she'll have to work out a routine to help with her mother and work as a nanny. Its not long before Logan is drawn to her and wants to go out with her. When she finally agrees to go out with him things heat up between them quick. Will this be more than either planned on?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that an y book lover would enjoy.

Logan Bardin needs a nanny for his daughter, Anna. Joyce Andrews needs job to help with her mother’s medical expenses. She has been a nanny before and knows this job would go a long way to help with the household income. Joyce lives with her aunt and her 12-year old sister, Sophie. Joyce is also trying to finish school. She can study while Anna is at school.

Logan is trying his best to stay his stoic, grouch self around Joyce. Joyce is a generally optimistic and happy person. She sees the good in everybody and every situation, even her grouchy boss. The attraction that these two feel for each other can’t be denied. Once they decide to give it a real go, Joyce looks for another job so she will no longer be working for Logan.

One problem. Logan’s sister, Jane, is friends with Joyce. She is the one that recommended Joyce for the job, which prompted Logan to hire her on the spot. How will Jane handle them as couple? How will Joyce’s family take the news? Fortunately, Anna loves Joyce, and at the end of the day, that’s all that really matters.

Joyce thinks she doesn't stand a chance when she is sitting in a room full of people waiting to interview for a nanny position. She goes into her interview and is just getting started when Logan bursts into the room. He demands to know when they are going to find him a nanny and then tells them to never mind, he'll do Joyce's interview himself. His sister sent her to interview and she has a great resume so he tells her she is hired. Joyce bonds well with Logan's daughter, Anne. Everyone goes to a ball in town and later, Joyce and Logan act on feelings that they have been having. But then Joyce thinks she made a big mistake. When she finds out she's expecting, how will Logan react? Will they be over before they really even got started?

Nanny For The Billionaire Bosshole by Lexi Landon is an Enemies to Lovers Romance with an added dash of a surprise pregnancy. I enjoyed reading this book, there was a spot here and there that felt a little long in my opinion but it was still a great storyline. Lexi Landon does a great job making you feel the tension, the attraction and the intimacy between the characters. There were a few moments I wished I could reach through my kindle and give them a good shake. But overall I loved the dynamic and liked reading the relationship progress. I read the book in one sitting as the plot kept me interested all the way till the end.

I just loved Logan and Joyce’s story! The main characters are fascinating, with deep history and complex personalities. I love that they have commonalities but also differences, and that they are each working so hard to improve themselves while also providing for their families. Soph and Anna are too cute, and Jane’s role and perspective are unique and off-putting at the same time, which only adds to the story’s allure and intensifies the plot of the book. The world building is well done, and the supporting characters truly make this novel special.

Supporting Each Other

Logan is looking for a nanny for his young daughter and immediately hires Joyce who happens to be his sister's best friend. Throughout this story the development of their relationship is slightly hindered by the fact that she is employed by him as well as her friendship with his sister. There were some very sweet moments especially with the daughter and her own family. I loved that they were very supportive of each other.

This was great. Steamy, romantic and sweet.
Joyce needed a job and when she goes to work for Logan as his nanny things heat up.
Things go well initially for these two as there is a slow build for the relationship, with a lot of should I shouldn't I from Logan. But the attraction is there from the start, as is the chemistry and passion.
Well written and wonderful characters that make this story a little funny, steamy and so romantic. Very well done!!

This book has a bit of everything for every romance lover. Logan, a widowed, grumpy dad with a precious little girl, hires Joyce, a young, bright-eyed ray of sunshine to be his daughter’s nanny. She rocks his world in the best of ways. Lexi Landon always writes such exciting stories with powerful characters that will capture your heart and a plethora of complications. This is a story of love, forgiveness, and moving on. Plenty of steam, all the good feels, and fun.

I received an ARC copy of Lexi Landon's book. I enjoyed the journey of Logan and Joyce in this story. It starts off with her being the nanny for his daughter. Then, things become steamy between them before it gets bad. Are they a good fit? Will they get their HEA? You have to read the book find out. I will say this was a page turner and hard to put down. It gives you all the feels, too. I enjoy Lexi Landon's writing, and this book did not disappoint.

Joyce is sweet and kind. Incredible with his daughter and once he can overlook the constant giggling he is head over heels.

She might be the sunshine this grump needs but Joyce is also fierce in her own right. She hasn't had it easy in life but that doesn't stop her from charging on when others would have given up. Those obstacles from left and right this girl can't catch a break.

Throw in the cuteness overload from his daughter, Anna, and you know it needs to be HEA for this family!

This is a well written book with strong characters in Logan and Joyce. It's an enemies to lovers romance with an added unexpected pregnancy. The author does a great job building the tension and gives them a sizzling hot chemistry. She moves the story fluidly with her descriptive scenes and kept me glued to the pages right to the end. Loved and recommend this book.

DNF

Unfortunately the read was not for me. Sure there was a single dad in need of a nanny but……?
Joyce - even though she carries a lot on her shoulders, was also a flighty character. There were times when her age was quite eveident.

Will not disrespect the read. Read a 1/3 of the book.

Good read

His sister about ruined it for me. Really they forgave her temper tantrum like nothing. Sorry I would make her work for it.
Otherwise I love the chemistry and the characters besides Jane.

Didn’t see that the sister would be like that! But Anna was adorable, the relationship was amazing and I liked how it wasn’t day 1 meet, by day 3 they’re sleeping together, day 10 pregnant. This had good pacing and managed the time frame better.

something a sixth grader would write.

I had to skim a lot of this, it was nothing that kept my attention. I almost put it aside after the first few chapters. But, hoped it would get better. Nope. Won’t bother with anything else by this author.

It’s a DNF for me.
I find the FMC extremely juvenile.
I think perhaps the author needs to learn the difference between kindergarten learning and toddler preschool.
And there’s just too much filler to hold my attention.
I skimmed through most of it and it doesn’t get better.
