Wolves hunt for what they want, what they need. Wolf shifters also hunt when they need to. But what no one can get through your skull is that it’s fruitless to hunt for your fated mate. No matter how much you want to find her. I now know it’s because your mate’s scent doesn’t trickle in. It slams into you. A sledgehammer strikes, the scent assaulting you, and it changes everything. This is what’s happening to me now. The woman who attempted to murder Tyson Savage? The one poisoning us? She’s mine.
Come back to Arcana Falls for another wild story with Claimed, Savage Alpha Shifters #4. Reading these paranormal, fated mates possessive alpha wolf shifter books in order is essential.
Planned series order: Tyson – Wild Mason – Twisted Riley – Wicked Greyson – Claimed And then stories for Jase, Lincoln, and Joel will follow. Which one will be your ultimate alpha wolf shifter book boyfriend?
DD Prince -- author of dark, paranormal, contemporary, and mindf*ck romances. Creator of book boyfriends: Tommy Ferrano, Tristan Walker, Dario Ferrano, Deacon Valentine, Daxx Blackstar, Rider Valentine, Spencer Valentine, Alessandro Romero, Aiden Carmichael, Tyson Savage, Killian Coulter, and more.
Loves: alpha male book boyfriends, smutty books with substance, fancy pens, going for sushi, cooking, and cheesy zombie flicks. I have many stories and characters to share and love connecting with book lovers and other authors on social media.
I love this series and I was not so patiently waiting for this release for what felt like eons…and I’m not sure what happened here. I liked Grey and Stacy, but this book had issues. It was very redundant and way too long. Grey’s story overlapping with the last book’s story was just not done well and felt stale. And I thought Grey coming into his warlock powers was rushed and just...too much.
Mostly though, the whole time throughout this book, all I could think is, why hasn’t Tyson or Riley killed this fucker already? I mean, seriously though. They are supposed to be badass super alphas. It’s mentioned ad nauseum how extra alpha alpha they are. And yet they just let this dumbass live after he attempts to kill Tyson, kidnap Erica, and blow up Ivy? Nah. It was incongruent to all their characterizations so far and was very frustrating to me. It made them all seem weak. I was turned off.
Oh well. They’ve all been 5 stars for me so far in this series, so maybe this was just a one off. Hoping the next book in the series brings back the mojo.
Your mate’s scent doesn’t trickle in. It slams into you. A sledgehammer strikes, the scent assaulting you, and it changes everything. This is what’s happening to me now. The woman who attempted to m*rder Tyson Savage? The one poisoning us? She’s mine. 🔥Savage Alpha Shifters: Alpha wolf shifters who chase, claim, bite, knot, and purr. Please start the series with Wild before reading Twisted, Wicked, and then Claimed. http://books2read.com/tyandivy Free in KU. Beware: these aren’t dark romances but these alphas get very PRIMAL at times. Tr1gger warn!ng. #shifterromance #fatedmates #pnr
November 2025 - I released Sigma, Jared & Cicely's novella (260ish pgs) which takes between Claimed and Jilted. <3
Next up in the series will be Jilted. (NO preorder or ETA - probably an early 2026 release) . Teasers/updates in DD's Chickadees on Facebook.
You can try to run, but you can’t hide 👀 and you’re gonna be caught 😅 and then you’ll be claimed 😉.
This book is best when read after book 3, Wicked, but DD also does an amazing job rehashing what’s happened in the previous books, so if you don’t wanna read books 1-3, then you COULD just start here (but honestly? Those books are amazing 🤣 I would recommend reading them first 🫶).
Greyson (32) scents his mate 👀 and it’s none other than the female that has not only poisoned his pack members 😬 but also shot Tyson 🫣 (H from book 1). She can try running, but her wolf is no match to his alpha one, and he catches her 🫠. She has some questions to answer, and he’s gonna make sure to claim his mate 🤷♀️ they’re destined to be together, and it’s time to make that finally happen 😉.
Stacy (25/26) has been abused in so many ways ☹️. Her brother Wyatt has been a terrible, abusive, controlling and manipulative alpha 🤬. She’s had to follow orders or else suffer the dire consequences of not doing so ☹️. He has a hatred for the Savage Alphas and wants to claim their pack, which is why he orders his sister to do his bidding (that’s how brave he is 🙄).
Luckily for Greyson and his pack, Stacy isn’t a bad person… just a mistreated one. She quickly submits to Greyson when he catches her. But that doesn’t mean she’s going to be forthcoming with information 😬 because she knows the outcome if she doesn’t comply to her brother’s demands ☹️.
Good thing Greyson’s a gentle, patient, and understanding male 🫶. He’ll wait until she’s ready- that and he’ll coax the truth from her, one mating knot at a time 🔥🥵😉.
Let the claiming begin 😈
What I loved: possible spoilers —gaaaahhh how patient Greyson is 🥹. He could’ve easily claimed her as soon as he found Stacy, but he could feel her fear and pain, so he waited until the timing was better 🫶. How he did this? Who TF knows 🤣. Based on the world building and the previous books, an alpha just CANNOT hold back 😅. But Greyson is able to ❤️. Now, he doesn’t wait TOO long 🤣🫣 but long enough to gain Stacy’s trust 🥹
—the 🔥. Good LORDT 🥵 there’s so much 🫠. It all starts when Greyson kisses Stacy at about 13%, followed by him showing her just how good his mouth is at 14% 💦 and then came the first knotting, claiming scene 😮💨🥵🔥 at 15%. Good thing they’re both wolves, because Stacy’s hoo ha needs all the positives she can get with the amount of claiming Greyson does 🤣😅🔥
—breeeeeding 😈. Yaaaaasss. Give me all the breeeeding possible 💦 and with knotting? Uffff 😮💨 I’m 🫠. Stacy’s a lucky lucky gal 😉 🔥
—consoling her 🫶. Greyson quickly figures out that Stacy’s been abused ☹️ and he adjusts his claiming plans to make sure she’s okay ❤️. Throughout the book, he ALWAYS checks in on her 😭 like a true alpha should 🥹❤️
—purrrring ❤️ jeeeezus, I wish this was real 😭 the amount of heartache that could be cured because of this 😭
—knotting 👀. Yeah. I know I mentioned it already, but my gosh, whyyy isn’t this a real thing 😭. The vibration? The pleeeeasure? Lawd have mercy on these women’s nether regions 🤣. Yes. I’m jealous 😒. lol
—Greyson’s love language 🥹 he’s so freaking swoony 😭. He showers her, runs with her, watches Disney movies with her, talks to her, listens, gahhh. I could go on and on ❤️
—the 🔥 during Disney movies 👀. Ummm… uffff 😮💨 but also 🤣🤣🤣
—saving her when she almost drowns 🫶. It’s soooo sad that she’s been sheltered and abused so much that her wolf can’t even swim or run properly ☹️ but Greyson takes care of her ❤️
—he calls her Blossom 🥹❤️🫶 him nicknaming her a word that is both a noun and a verb is very telling on his love for her, because the verb form alone is indicative of what Stacy does 👏
—the JPPPP scenes 😈 I love me OMD, even if it’s not as violent as it could be 🫣🤣. Greyson wanting to get back at all the males Stacy had been with speaks to his love, nurture, and even possessiveness 😉 MINEMINEMINE 😈
—the comeuppance 👏. Some of it could’ve been dragged on more 🤣 but that’s just me wanting more justice to be done 😈
—the angst 😅. Yes. I cried 😭😭😭😭
What I didn’t love: SPOILERS —Bailey and Jase’s storyline 😐. I don’t think I’ll be able to read it 😭. I’m not a fan of a manhooooar H/pining v h ESPECIALLY with all the times Bailey has seen Jase on the prowl with ow 😐. It makes me feel icky. There’s a scene in this book where Bailey tries to entice Jase, and I felt icky. I wanted to go into the book and make her see reason! Move on from him Bailey 👏. He doesn’t want you; he’s humiliated you, and made you feel this small 🤏. Whyyyy can’t you move on 😭?! You need to go and explore the world, find some new guys that CAN appreciate you. I just don’t understand why you would want him to be your mate if he’s being “forced” to want you when he doesn’t want you without the “mate” bond 😐. The reasons why I’ve loved all the other pairings is because the MCs haven’t known each other. So when they meet… BAAAAAMMM! Instant connection 😈👏 For Bailey and Jase it won’t be like that 😒. Who knows. Maybe it’ll get fixed 🤷♀️ but unless Bailey leaves and enjoys her life TO THE FULLEST… it just won’t be for me ☹️
—Jase not wanting to be monogamous 😐. Just. 🥴. He literally says he can’t fathom the thought of it 😒. We get a replay of the scene from book 3 when he humiliates Bailey after trying to hook up with Erica’s sister 😐 (terrible scene 😭) and Jase knows he’s next 😒. I don’t like that he wants to keep playing the field 😒. Sigh. Oh well
—there was a bit of repetitiveness (maybe I never noticed it before) BUT it DID help me remember things 🤣
Overall, I loooved it ❤️
⚠️safety squad⚠️ -no cheating/sharing/owd -violence/deaths/murders -cult behavior -forced sex/prostitution -abuse in all forms (sexual, emotional, physical, psychological) -mild OMD: the h was supposed to get with another male from her pack. They were never intimate but the OM definitely wants the h and the H is jealous -breeeeeding/knotting/praise kink/after care ❤️ -no condoms -HEA/epilogue
I need to preface that I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but I was pretty meh about the last one. I’m not just trying to be a hater here.
This entire book was an info dump. It was ALL telling and no showing, and basically nothing happened. The few things that did happen weren’t even shown, they were told about in vague retrospect. It was absurdly repetitive- Grey would go off and do something and we’d get told what happened, and then in the next chapter when he reunited with Stacy we’d get retold about it when he filled her in. I swear it almost feels like the book is a summary of itself. Instead of actual dialogue, we get summaries of conversations (ie “she tells me xyz, and then told me abc”) rather than getting to be present for the conversation. It’s like we’re being filled in afterward instead k getting to be in the room.
It should have been 400 pages shorter- I’m not even exaggerating. It was CRAZY repetitive to the point that it sometimes felt like I was reading the same pages over and over again.
There was no plot whatsoever. Literally none. The plot of this book was the exact same as the last one, but told as if it was just reliving someone’s memories. I think the author made a huge mistake at having both this book and the last take place during the same time period, because she does not know how to write alternate POV’s of the same sequence of events in a way that is actually revealing or different than the original.
The fmc was unlikeable- very pathetic and had basically no personality and no backbone. Grey was sickly sweet- embarrassingly so.
This was…not great. I almost skipped it and to be honest, I wish I had. First, this is a dire need of an editor who will tell the author no. It’s 200 pages longer than necessary and there is soooooo much telling about what happens and not enough showing. Entire conversations and events are summarized by the main characters’ narration. I skimmed a great deal. The whole thing had the feel of an epilogue where a small conversation happens while the character catches you up on the past year. Except it happened every few pages.
Second issue is that Greyson was not nearly as careful with Stacy as the author’s note suggested. He saw that she was terrified and still claimed her within 24 hours. Later, when she is recounting the abuse that she endured, Greyson is pissed that she didn’t tell him and Stacy feels like she has to apologize to him. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus you have Brady finding his mate in a woman who was just forced into prostitution and literally just rescued and everyone supports him taking her into a cabin and isolating her, because the mate pull trumps all. Grayson is shocked that Brady hasn’t claimed her by the end of the book. It’s like the impact of sexual abuse aren’t real to any of these alphas. I still hate the entitlement each alpha feels towards their mates. Sex and love are great, but they can’t magically heal decades of trauma.
Finally, Bailey was so annoying in this book. I was hoping to see hints of her really finding her path so that when Jase wakes up, he really has to earn it. But she kept making the same mistakes and only showed a hint of independence at the very end. I’ve been hanging on because I want to see their story, but now I’m not sure it’s going to go in a direction that is worth it. If Bailey just caves right away because “mate bond,” I’m going to be so pissed.
Overall, if you loved the other books and found zero problems, you will probably enjoy this. I’ll read Jilted and figure out if I can continue from there.
I adore this series and this latest addition is no exception. This is Stacy and Greyson’s story and the beginning of there journey was certainly far from ideal but I just loved the way Grayson looked at it all without blame for Stacy, understanding from the get- go that despite her actions she was at her core a good person.
I also appreciated the dynamic these two shared and Grayson is such a nurturer and protector something that was initially so foreign to his new mate who has known so much fear and abuse. The relationship between Stacy and Grayson wasn't an angsty one which I found refreshing. Rather its all the surrounding circumstances that add and play into the drama.
There's a lot to unpack when it comes to Stacy's background but Grayson and the Arcana falls wolf pack are more than up to the task. We also have the added component of Stacys brother and what a terrible individual he is and also Graysons witch heritage comes into play here as he finally embraces his dual nature of both witch and shifter.
We get to catch up with familiar faces and there are also some new ones added into the mix. I'm now incredibly excited to learn more regarding the next couple which I'm pretty sure is Bailey and Jace and fingers crossed she gives him hell. This book was honestly like a big warm hug even with all of the turmoil and pain from Stacys old pack to deal with. I highly recommend this series its so well written and such an easy read and a firm favourite of mine. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Claimed.
My disappointment is palpable and this is coming from the person who has loved and read the first three books countless times. This came out and i dropped everything, including the book I was in the middle of reading, to get through my hands on this and now i'm just so sad. Not kidding, I would check for updates or a pub date every week.
I don't even know where to start with how badly this was written. Some parts just need an editor and other parts were just oddly repetitive. It was about 200 pages too long.
Firstly, Greyson can get in the BIN that man is trash. He did not handle Stacy with any kindness or gentleness at the beginning. Stacy's reaction to him on their first night should have told him *everything* about how badly she had been abused and is terrified. He did not need a witch, who saw into Stacy's mind, to tell him about how badly she was treated. The fact that he STILL claimed her after that reaction, be serious for one second.
The emotional manipulation at the beginning was also not great and we had Tyson Savage who was feral in the woods for 20 years and manage to do better. I felt Stacy was being made to apologise repeatedly for being abused and Greyson was just pissed and blamed her for not opening up?
Secondly, the author, and this is so unlike them, did not manage to find a balance between the plot and the romance. Hardly any of the good 🌶️ and way too much plot. I wanted to see Grey and Stacy's relationship develop and instead I got side quests upon side quests. On so many occasions, the author would hint at a conversation, wouldn't then have said conversation on page and then later explain the missing conversation in exposition. Epitome of telling not showing and this was one big info dump. The one example that annoyed me the most was Greyson asking his dad to quickly tell him about his past with Soliel. The chapter ends and we never hear it from Graydon's mouth. Later the author frames it as 'oh yeah my dad told me this bit of the story'...what are we, the READERS, meant to do with this?
This method really meant that there was no tension, no moments of revelation, no plots clicking into place, no pacing and just no pay off. Unlike the first three books, the author also failed to weave in the wider storyline and the events of the previous three books happened off page and then also explained in exposition. THIS IS SO UNLIKE HER! AND I LOVE THE FIRST THREE BOOK WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE.
And finally, Bailey, i'm going to need to to STAND UP and get a grip. This pining storyline is overdone and she's not playing it cool. The end pissed me off where she says 'yh i'm over him...just as soon as i follow him across the country and give him these items, then i promise i'm over him'...
These shifters from Arcana Falls are the hottest shifters I have ever read and I get excited when I hear the next book is coming out, it's an automatic 1 click for me! They encourage fantasy and wet dreams with their dominance and assertive nature, with their growly behavior and their purring...{{SWOON}} Claimed is intense at times with the sometimes upsetting things happening in the background. But I am always reassured when the couple continue with their love through all the trauma and chaos around them. Stacy and Grey's story is so well written, with the characters staying true to themselves and consistent in their beliefs and morals. Greyson is a very dominant Alpha and asserts his dominance as needed, but then is so extremely patient when considering his mate and her trauma. Stacy finally gets her HEA and it was beautiful and so perfect for this couple. I can't wait for the next book in the series! 💕
4th book in this series from DD Prince and I thought it was the best one yet. I am totally hooked on this series. It is constantly evolving with new and old characters and a stunning story thread running through. Greyston and Stacey were a gentler and slower love story as fated mates. The book starts at the same timeline point as book three so some retelling of the same story from a different perspective but moves on further along in the story. The writing is very good and from a slow start this book ramped up in action. Greyston is a very caring, thoughtful and perceptive shifter coming into his warlock powers. He is my favourite shifter so far. Stacey a timid and caring shifter who gradually becomes stronger and more confident. There is all the usual hot stuff, alongside the little comedic spots and a really good strong story full of surprises which hooks into the next book and I really like that I couldn’t predict the outcome. With promises of little branches into other books. This is a not to be missed series which DD tackles with her usual aplomb, handling difficult subjects with great skill. I am not normally a paranormal fan but this series has really hooked me in. My only disappointment is the time I will have to wait for the next in the series. Well done Dee Dee. I highly recommend this book but if you haven’t done so you will need to read the other books first.
When I read a book, I inspired myself to get the magical feelings and transported to another dimension. Another world that exist only for my eyes and mind, at the moment I’m reading the book. Claimed was that for me. It was magical and I believe DD Prince did that for me. How can this author make everything seem so good and the problems seems so real at the same time? The characters in this story are amazing and so well developed. I love this series since Wild came unit and I can’t wait to see how every other alpha mates with their fated partners. Thanks DD, for creating a world of magic, positivity, power and most of all, a world of forever happily ever afters.
DD has done it again!!! I love her voice. She is an amazing writer AND an amazing storyteller. I've read many, if not all, of her books. Every one is engrossing!!!
It was okay, I feel like the last few shifter romances have been heavy on abuse and mistreatment and that takes me out of the story a bit. Generally this was quite low drama and I wanted more couple-specific relationship drama. It’s getting a bit too serious for me.
I was really looking forward to this but what a disappointment because of the release date and also all the books leading up to this were so damn good.
Grey and Stacey just seemed so bland. The book length and monologue was unnecessary long. What made it worse was its so boring to be in Stacey and Grey’s head. Stacey was just so timid and her thoughts were just the same on repeat, again and again oscillating between guilt and horny . As for Grey there was no personality at all aside from him being a gentleman and being truly horny all the time.
There was no conversation or get to know one another. Stacey was just reluctant at sharing any details or even make a conversation, and Grey, the understanding gentleman, would just back off which made Stacey feel incredibly guilty. So the conversation would just stop, just like that. And then they will go and fuck.
The sex was good, so that earned some stars, but that’s really all I can say in the positives column.
There was just so much talking. It felt like I was watching training videos for a new job. You know the ones where they have a cheesy over-the-top mansplaining dialogue that just gives instructions on how to not open malware? Like that.
I can honestly say I’ve never not enjoyed a DD Prince before, but this was tedious. So many side characters and potential spinoffs being introduced at rapid pace, with outrageously long monologues explaining new and past information.
Side rant: I have never understood needing to explain the backstories of side characters who’ve already had a book in a series. These could not possibly be read as standalones, so put that in the description and move on.
Also, I don’t know what these guys have against using “I” and speaking in complete sentences, but I’m from east freakin Texas and even I can’t stand this grammar. Some of the sentences didn’t make any sense without a noun to anchor it, and I had to add I or You to it myself when I was reading in order to figure out what was happening.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This novel felt like it was written by someone other than DD.
The transitions were sloppy, and the filler between conversations was way too long. Things being repeated over and over again and the lack of spicy was disappointing.
I'm not sure how DD Prince always manages to create such swoon-worthy, protective, possessive, sexy men in her Savage Alpha Shifters series, but each book just delivers all of the above and more!
Claimed is book 4 of the series, and this time, it's Greyson Blackwood's turn to find his fated mate.
But things take an unusual turn when Grey discovers that his mate was sent to Arcana Falls to destroy his pack, poisoning several pack alphas and shooting Tyson Savage.
Stacy Meadows isn't simply a devious attempted assassin, however. This woman is truly wonderful, and her backstory will capture your heart and make you want to protect her. But through it all, she remains so sweet and kind and willing to do anything it takes to help others.
I loved that Greyson didn't react negatively towards his mate or with judgement. Instead, he used his intuition and realised that despite the circumstances, Stacy is a good person. He took the time to get to know her and understand her, and I loved how protective and nurturing he was towards her. We'd all be so lucky to find a Greyson in our lives.
I love how DD Prince writes relationships - not just the spice, which is always first rate - but the love between her couples shines from the pages. And how Greyson loves Stacy. This man is so amazing. He loves and protects his mate so well, giving her a home and safety that she's never had before.
Another thing this fabulous author always gives us is the best female characters and great relationships between the women in her stories. These are the women you want in your life; supportive, funny, open with each other, and kickass when they have to be.
Grey and Stacy face many challenges along the way in Claimed. Often at the hands of Stacy's former pack alpha, her truly awful brother Wyatt. But it kept the reader on the edge of their seat and ensured the pace of the book flowed perfectly. And regardless of the challenges they face, I loved that the relationship between Grey and Stacy was solid and remained low angst, with the outside situations bringing the drama.
It was good to see the Arcana Falls pack come together to help Stacy's former pack, and I loved seeing some glimpses of Lincoln here, another of the upcoming alpha's, who showed a little of how special he is.
And of course, there's Bailey and Jase to look forward to. My anticipation for their book has already been sky high, but now I'm super excited for their story to unfold next in Jilted. I honestly can't express my excitement for them!!
As always, DD has also managed to create an entire list of side characters who I want to see more of! We'd need to clone this woman to get all of the books 🤣 but I'm putting in a request for Brody, Jared, and Malachi, please, and thank you 🫶
Claimed has a little bit of everything: fated mates, romance, passion, adversity, danger, magic, and mayhem, but it's an adventure you won't want to miss!
Like many other readers and fans of this werewolf shifters series, I was very curious and excited about the latest story in this series, that of Greyson and Stacy. The author DD Prince has written another fantastic story. It was emotional, steamy and intense with surprising plot twists.
In the previous story we discovered that the female shifter who poisoned a number of pack members and shot Tyson Savage was Greyson’s mate. In this story we discover more about the woman who did all that. Her name is Stacy and she was giving the assignment by her brother Wyatt, who is the alpha leader of their pack, the Silver Hills. Her brother Wyatt is a very bad leader, he only cares about himself, his needs and his desires. Wyatt treats everyone in the pack terribly, but especially the women are the victims of his desire for more power and money. Stacy is nothing like her brother, she cares for the people in her pack. To protect them from her brother, she did all those bad things. But everything changes for Stacy (in a very positive way!) when Grey discovers that she’s his mate.
Greyson knows that Stacy is not a bad person, although she has a lot of secrets. He can see that she’s shy, scared and traumatized. He has to be careful with her, but in order to protect her, she has to trust him with her story. Because there’s danger lurking, her brother wants revenge. And then there’s his magic that is coming to the surface. Greyson will have to use all his intelligent, alpha power and his newfound magic to protect Stacy and the Silver Hills pack from their evil alpha leader.
‘Claimed’ was a great story. The story was emotional, compelling and steamy. There was a good balance between everything. Yes, there was sadness and pain but there was also hope and love. Stacy had a terrible upbringing with her father and brother. She was a sensitive, shy, gentle woman and despite all the abuse she endure (emotional, mental and sexual) she was still strong in her own quiet way. I loved how she grew and blossomed throughout the story. She stood up for herself at the end. Go Stacy!! Greyson was the perfect mate for her. He was protective and caring, but he also gave her (in his alpha way) space to find her own strength. A lot was happening for Greyson too, he had to learn how to be a leader of the Young coven and how to use his magic.
It was great to see how all the super alphas worked together. They supported each other and showed why they are good leaders.
As often happens in this author’s stories, some secondary characters also caught my attention and I hope that the author will give them a story in the future too. There was Brody (Riley’s brother) who discovered his mate in this story. Another character that caught my interest was Jared, a mysterious, lone, alpha man.
Bailey was a wonderful sister, she was a great support to Stacy.
Just like in the previous stories, the story was told from both POV’s.
I look forward to the next story in this amazing series!
Oh my stars! We get heat, growls, purring, knotting, magic and shifter sexy times in this installment of D.D. Prince's Alpha Shifters series.
This story starts with a bang! Grayson the 4th born finds his mate, Stacy, who’s a shifter. Grayson is seen as a calm voice of reason and able to diplomatically influence his pack mates. We discover his witch blood provides many additional strengths beyond the super alpha traits he has as one of the 7 chosen pack leaders. Grayson discovers his Warlock magical capabilities and we get deeper connections to the Young coven.
Grayson captures Stacy after her assassination attempts on pack mates and soon after the mating bond clicks into place. He immediately sussed out Stacy was being coerced to harm his pack mates. Grayson wastes no time and carries her home to Claim her after he scents she’s his mate. We learn Stacy’s entire introduction to sex has been forced acts never of her choosing. Her struggle to believe he could be hers is heartbreaking. The intimacy and heat are yum. I liked how he consistently communicates his joy, care and commitment to Stacy right from the start with actions and words. He followed his gut and pack sense to trust fate wouldn’t bond him to someone not perfect for him.
Stacy and her entire pack have experienced horrific abuses by Wyatt, her megalomaniac half brother. (Wyatt, the half brother is a disturbed, twisted individual with no redeeming traits). I was satisfied with how his story arc played out. Grayson is a hot, possessive alpha who will go to any length to protect his mate. The entire pack welcomes Stacy, who is protective, self sacrificing, sweet, and quietly makes every effort to not harm others. Grayson focuses on providing a safe haven and provides structure and care by encouraging Stacy to learn skills like swimming and driving. You can see he wants to be her center but also for her to develop her own capabilities so she can thrive in her new pack.
We get spicy intimate scenes, knotting, and both experience life altering connection every time they touch each other. We get a double surprise at end of book! (No spoilers) We get lots of check ins on Bailey's crush struggles over Jace being next up to discover his chosen mate. Brody Savage gets a surprising development that creates lots of opportunities for more stories! I’m excited to see what happens next and wonder if we get a fae, human, vampire, witch, shifter or combination in our next fated mate journey!
A pinch of Alpha, a sprinkle of love, and a splash of steamy = a cauldron of paranormal success
One of my favorite things about this author is her ability to write a substantial book without making it feel like a big one. Her worlds and her words consume me, and before I realize it, huge chunks of time have passed in what feels like a blink in time. Regardless of the genre or tropes, she manages to get me in a chokehold. That was most apparent in this book.
These shifters are something else. They are unique. This isn't your typical world of shifters, especially with how the pack works. While the story might be happening during parts of the same timeline, they still are their very own alpha man, which is part of the reason that this series has become a fan favorite. This was readily apparent with how Grayson was in this book. The fated mate is known quickly, just like previous books; however, how they handle getting their mates on the same page is where it veers off course. Watching how Grayson navigated Stacy and her backstory was one of the softer sides in this series, and for that, it made it even more special. There was beauty in those actions, in my opinion, which made me love the character all the more.
I enjoyed seeing the dynamic of watching Grayson embrace his witchy side along with his wolf side. It was done in a way that was not cheesy. It gave opportunities for previous characters from other series, as well as book three, to come back without it feeling forced or just for the sake of being a filler. There were Easter eggs that I enjoyed reading, but weren't out of place if one hasn't read her other books. New characters were introduced that made me wish for their stories to be told too, in addition to the remaining characters getting a little more focus as their stories move up in the line.
Stacy's backstory was heartbreaking, but it was told in a way that it was more inferred without describing in detail what she went through without saying. I enjoyed seeing her blossom into herself and become one of the pack ladies. There is still so much story to be told surrounding this pack, and I look forward to when that happens.
This series is pretty dang special, with strong characters and steamy times mixed together without losing the plot of the story. One of my favorites from this author. There is a reason that she is one of my favorite authors and that I have followed since I first discovered her almost ten years ago.
Kudos to the author for another book baby. She made magic yet again.
I’ll probably be judged but this is the shifter book I’ve been waiting for. More plot with some tension and love in between. I prefer little to medium spice but I will read heavy if it has a place in the book.
I don’t know if it’s just me but I rarely experience a book where it’s shifter on shifter dark content and I’ve been starved to see it. It’s always shifter on human and it’s overpopulating the shelves. So this book finally sated my black heart since its rarity for me to see it.
Was this book perfect? No. It has issues with pacing and timeline overlapping. Truly, I had issues trying to recall the previous storylines since sure been a minute since I read the previous books but I was able to manage. It was a bit rushed to fill in gaps and dialogue reveals. For that, I sadly have to deduct a perfect review BUT I’d take that over having gaps and open endings that are neglecting characters that we’ve grown to enjoy.
Was it entertaining? 100%!! The directions kept surprising me on how deep the depravity that is Wyatt. He is the antagonist that keeps coming. I love the directions of new characters and how things were resolved between our alphas and the other pack’s struggles. Stacy was not my favorite heroine but I truly appreciate her imperfections and that she was not a perfect MFC the moment she accepted her fated mate. She experienced a lot of growth but still continued to be imperfect and human. Characters need to be a little annoying or else we’d get bored if they always did the right thing. My only gripe with Grayson is how quickly his coming into magic (which was explained AND to the ire of other characters) but just felt rushed for me as a reader interested to know more. And truly I’m NOT a fan of witch tropes and you got me over here asking could we have gotten a bit more explanation.
Love the length of these books because I can’t complain I read it too quickly but I couldn’t put it down. Truly worth the wait and now I don’t know what to do with my hands until the next couple books come out. But I feel it will be worth it.
We all have one of those authors that we love like we love our family, and when they release a new book, it's like winning the lottery. I live for DD to release new books and this book is one of her best yet!! Her books just keep getting better and better.
Greyson Blackwood is one of the council alpha members of the Arcana Falls Pack. He is also coming into his powers as a powerful warlock. He meets his fated mate, Stacy, when she tries to shoot and kill one of the other Alphas, Tyson Savage. Her scent overwhelms him and he knows that he has to get to her. Stacy is an omega. Her alpha, which is also her brother Wyatt, sent her to weaken the Arcana Falls Pack by shooting and killing Tyson Savage. Did she succeed? You will have to find out by reading this incredible book. That is all the spoilers you're getting. On to the review....
This Alpha Shifter romance absolutely howled its way into my heart!!! I was hooked from page one. The crazy hot chemistry and fierce loyalty that Greyson and Stacy have for one another was absolutely off the charts. The sexy times, wow...just wow!!
Stacy is so strong, but her whole life she was beat down, lied to, abused, and made to feel less than. Her pain, resilience, and quiet defiance make her instantly relatable. In her heart, Greyson was too good to be true, but her proved her wrong in so many ways. Their love story is one for the books.
Greyson is fierce, not just in strength, but in how completely he cherishes her. His love is instant, but never shallow—it’s instinctive, primal, and utterly consuming in the best possible way.
This book is definitely 5 STARS!! I wish I could give it more. I totally recommend!! This book is filled with so much action and so many story lines to come...I want more...So much more!! Kudos to you DD on another fantastic book!!
CONGRATULATIONS BRODY! - you lead a pack full of rapists who raped your wife/mate! Real progress! Real heart! 🙄😤
Can we please stop romanticising abuse!? Especially with the current political climate globally where our rights are being taken away more and more every day! Specifically targeting us cause we’re women! With the previous book in the series where they bought up the fact that women should get to choose if they want their “mate” or not , I thought we were gonna get a really nice representation of true feminism in a romance novel - but nope instead we get a scapegoat for rape trade in the form of this Wyatt guy! Killing him solves nothing - congratulations brody , you lead a pack who raped your “wife/mate” and/or enabled the rape! Bravo! Once a rapist always a rapist - good luck consorting with them! - also Stacey defending them makes it worst! The rape system works cause everyone participates and enables it not because one guy said you can rape people - it exists because they all already wanted to rape people in the first place! - although the love the part where we see a survivor story and now real love and care is the only solution for them to heal and live life with genuinely nice people! But i wouldn’t wanna be living in this shifter town cause apparently it doesn’t matter if you like that “wolf” or not - they would let the efer rape-knot you to prove you are his property or not! Cause you know - “it’s their law” - and I’m only able to see the multitudes of Romanticised abuse because of therapy and the recognition of what abuse really is! D.D. Needs real love in her life! Honestly girl - please recognise what’s real love and how exactly the rape trade works - everyone is complicit - blaming scapegoats never helps!
Despite the darker content in this one, it was my favourite of the series.
Even though Stacy wasn’t as “strong” on the surface as some of the other women, it made sense given her horrible background. But I thought she was such a great character. My favourite h so far.
Grayson was also really good. He was just as alpha as the others, but I liked that he had much more of a caring nature. Maybe it was the warlock side of him coming through.
I liked how everything played out with his mother. I liked that she stayed a villain and it didn’t turn into something sad and tragic.
My only reason why these books haven’t gotten above 4 stars for me is actually because of editing. I understand that these books have a decent amount of plot given all the spice, but it’s needs a really solid edit. Each book has a decent amount of crossover so I think some of the books could be condensed. I would say based on what I’ve read so far you could cut 1/4 of each book and it have zero impact on understanding what is going on.
I really love the world DD Prince has created and I can’t wait for the rest of the books, despite the fact that I know I’m going to want to yell at Bailey to stop being so pathetic. I have so much secondhand embarrassment. Ironically I don’t blame Jase. He has made it clear that he really doesn’t like her like that but she keeps pining away and literally putting her life on hold.
I’m also keen as a little bean on Cicely’s story, as it appears to be with the lone Alpha (which I love over her being with Linc).
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Savage Stars – and I’d give more if I could!
I just finished Claimed (Savage Alpha Shifters Book 4) and… I’m not ready for it to be over. DD Prince has created a world in Arcana Falls that I never want to leave — one where the Alphas are fierce, protective, deeply obsessed with their mates, and completely unapologetic about it. If you know, you KNOW. 🐺🔥
Grey and Stacy’s story was emotional, intense, and SO worth the wait. This couple went through it, and every step of their journey had me hooked. Stacy is a survivor, and watching her open up and heal — especially with Greyson by her side — was powerful. He’s truly the light chasing away all of her darkness. Their chemistry? Off the charts. Their bond? Fated.
DD continues to expand the shifter world here with more characters and more delicious teasing of what’s to come. I know I’m not the only one who’s been watching the slow burn between Jase and Bailey 👀… and that epilogue? Absolutely screaming.
But honestly? I’m also dying for Brody and Adelaide’s story. That big broody Alpha is giving discipline-you-with-a-glance vibes, and I am READY.
So please, DD — let the shifter gods whisper in your ear like your fans do in your inbox. We NEED more. Whether it’s Jase, Brody, or even that mysterious silver Airstream owner, we’re here and we’re obsessed.
If you’ve already read Ty, Mase, and Riley’s stories but haven’t read Claimed yet — go now! If you’re new to this world, start with Wild (Book 1) and buckle up. You're about to fall hard for these possessive, obsessive, absolutely feral Alphas.
