What if you suddenly had to reinvent yourself? If everything you thought was your life wasn't and you needed to figure out just who you really were? What would you do if your tradition-filled life fell apart and you found yourself entering the dating world for the first time as an adult? Liv Jaudon always believed it takes true commitment of two people to make a marriage work. What she didn't know is that three people can make one interesting. She found herself in a world she knew nothing about and faced with a proposition that intrigued and frightened her at the same time. Could she change from the proper young lady who always did what was expected of her to one who decided maybe traditional wasn't what she was? What if you decided the rules didn't matter and you were ready to take a chance with your life? After all, if you're not taking chances, what's the point?
I received this book as First-read give away. Experimental Lasagna is a story about author's personal life. The story has depict the difficult and confused times Liv has after her divorce and then when she was forced by her friends to start the dating. Most of the story was average dating lifestyle of a single mom, until Liv decide to go for unusual commitment of sexual pleasure with no string attached with her co-worker Nico. Though the plot seemed predictable in this part of story too but it did give some flare of the erotic narration of kinds of Fifty shades.
There was some excitement at the end of the story and your indulgence level will surely rise, however, the end is little to late to really feel very good about complete experience. I surely don't know much about novel writing, but I felt that the novel lacked the binding power of a compelling story and is more proper for a blog kind of activity(and I'm sorry Ms. Parker, I read that you hate have your story referenced as blog, but in my opinion the script is more appropriate for a blog).
