No home. No family. Always looking over your shoulder, likely for the rest of your life.
When you find a crew that you can trust, you do anything for them. Jason Burke has a crew like that. He would kill for them… and he would die for them. Right now, they need his help and it will take all of his cunning and skill to bring them home safely. He is alone, without his powerful ship, the Phoenix, and the criminal cartels he’s going up against are some of the most ruthless in the galaxy.
For Captain Burke it’s all or bring his friends home safe… or die trying.
Contradiction 1 Doc says being on the crew has dulled his senses and instincts as a geneticist causing him to make mistakes with crusher's gene editting but he was very recently teaching it as a professor on s'tora.
Contradiction 2 Anculan knows who kage is, he explains such to lucky, shortly afterwards lucky and kage discuss kage "laying low" so Anculan will assume he's a harmless veran
After the disastrous ending of the last book things were looking grim for Omega Force being able to stay alive, much less be a cohesive group. While they of course had some mid-steps along the way, because we wouldn’t believe it was Omega Force otherwise! However the individual characters work both apart and together with their typical skills & style in order to resolve problems as they occur. By the end of the book they are all alive and have determined that they are ready to fight together against whatever comes along!
I've loved this series from the start! Kept up with it from its humble beginnings, through the clandestine operations, leading up to the massive galactic war, which brings us to now. It
After the collapse of the ConFed, it was hard to imagine where things would go next for the crew. Thankfully, the author has penned this story in a way that brings the crew back to their roots while opening up the narrative in other way due to other political schemes.
As always, I look forward to the next entry of the series and pray that it does not end. It is the only one in my collection I actively hunt for on a monthly basis to ensure I'm not missing the newest addition and do not fall behind on it!. Thank you Mr Dalzelle, for such an entertaining sci-fi series!
I have to admit that with bow omega force has been long standing and aging all the while kicking ass and doing damage. If this series were to end, this would be a subtle chill way to end it off.
Hats off to Jason doing what he does best. I feel like certain elements being taken away and going back to the way they began probably encourages or mean a new arc to Omega Force continued adventures but also a waste of a build up or earned foundation which just went puff. Hopefully that gets settled. As vague as that was. That was indeed my only beef.
Looking forward definitely to what chaos and heroics Burke and his crew manages to accomplish
First off, this is possibly one of my favorite series of books, so to give it 4* hurts a little. However this story just seems to be lacking some of what made the other books great. The team interaction is below par and the humour almost non-existent compared to the recent books and as a result I was.lwft wanting more The story is good, the cloak and dagger engaging and the odd shoot out nicely described I am just hoping Joshua can bring back the fun
★★★★★ Great book! Can’t wait to read it again (and I will). ★★★★☆ Good book. I am glad I read this. ★★★☆☆ OK book. Nothing special but not bad. ★★☆☆☆ Not good. Why did I waste my time? ★☆☆☆☆ Lousy. I didn’t finish.
If for whatever reason, I go back and reread a good book, I will change the rating to five-star because I read it again.
Mr. Dalzelle has written one of the best sci-fi series ever. I love each new addition and hope more are to come. The characters are written with humor and an unexpected warmth. The action scenes are breathtaking. Thank you, Joshua Dalzelle, for giving me hours of entertainment.
I was hoping for more to come. The little and big surprises that kept happening, kept me going. Now that it's done, I'm still hoping for more! What a ride. I could not put the book down! Excitement constantly changing everything, keeping me guessing. I loved the whole storyline!
I found this entry in the series very refreshing. Each main characters were given a good storyline and the ending tied it altogether. The story had mystery action and humor. The only issue might be you needed to have read previous books to get the references tie in. Very good read.
These books just keep getting better. I have loved everyone from the very beginning. Looks like the guys are in for more adventures to come. Can't wait..... outstanding books Mr. Dalzelle. Looking g forward to see what happens next,!!!!!!
And too short, also as usual lol. I flew through this, as I always do. When the new installments of OF come out, I drop every other book or series I might be reading. Hopefully the next one is just around the corner…?
Every book in this series has been wonderful. The large cast of supporting characters only makes the heroes of the story shine that much more. The continuity throughout the series is well done and the technology is believable. I am looking forward to the next book.
Plenty of action. I didn't think that the old characters could be developed any further, but I was proven wrong. More depth, new perspectives and deeper friendships. A must read.
Great read , throughly enjoyed this book. I patiently waited for it to be published. Was worth the wait. Burned through it quickly. Now to find something else to occupy my time .
Josh knows how much we love the scrappy familial bickering of Omega force and how they always seem to make as many enemies as they vanquish. Can’t wait for the next one. Great storytelling J.D.
I really enjoy reading the omega force series. It's light hearted and a good read. The characters make me laugh sometimes. And I never get tired of the great adventures. Keep up the good work Mr Dalzelle;
My only complaint about the book is the cost, why do they cost so much on a Kindle? Someone is ripping us off. Omega Force back to their old tricks getting in a mess they getting out of it on top. Brilliant read
Can’t wait for the next in the series. I feel as though I am with the characters and can’t wait to see what fills the void of ConFed and how Jason and the team continue to fight the fight.
a great book and a refreshing find on kindle unlimited
I was extremely happy to find this newest installment of Omega Force in my recommended for me Kindle Unlimited list. There are a lot of sci-fi turds on Kindle Unlimited, but this is not one of them.
So easy to love these stories. Just the right amount of action with no token-gesture love interests. A great story showcasing friends doing crazy stuff to save the universe. No stress, no drama, just a story that makes me happy.
This one seems like a retread of earlier books. Part of the team must rescue another part of the team. I'm experiencing less and less enjoyment from this series as it progresses. Even the MacDonalds effect has its limits. I'm done.
As with all the other books in the series, this one did not disappoint. I recommend this series to anyone who wants to get involved with a group of characters that are well written and will melt your heart!
So,....i have read every thing josh has written. He is an awesome author....charactorization for his charactors is awesome. Story line is awesome. He just does not put out many books. Get busy Josh.
It is still in the vein of an Omega Force story, but it lacked the beauty of previous stories. There was a crudeness to the telling that was new. Also, could have used better editing.
Love these books. The brotherhood of these characters are amazing. The story line is always great and keeps you wondering about what is going to happen next. Thanks for making it feel like you was part of this family too.
This was a good book in the series. The characters were separated by different situations and work to meet back up. The camaraderie of the team is very evident.
With Lucky and Kage still missing, Crusher and Doc out of action and Twingo fixing the Phoenix, Jason teams up with 701 to begin the search. Fifteen books in, still going strong and as good as ever.
