Things are still going strangely or askew in the cabin. Like the crumbled gingerbread house, the items including money they saw in the wishing well and of course all the baked goods are gone, once again. Adria is still emotional and feeling love for Devin, who is trying to show her he cares for her. Becca is crazy about Liam, but her friendship with Liam goes on for decades. They found C.H. and have unwrapped the surprise prsent.
Plenty of intrigue as to who is the cookie thief, or eating them all. Who filled the wishing well that has yet to freeze, or snow to stay on wishing well. Becca and Devin have made a bet as to who'll marry first. Adria and Devin spoke about Devin's daughter who's in college now. Anxious for last book and the answers that are plaguing my memory.

Adria and Devin find a wrapped red package at the door. Becca grabs it off of them wanting to know where it came from , which of her adoring fans sent it, and wanting to open it NOW!!!!
Adria says, there is no tag and we will open it on Christmas, TOGETHER.
As the days get closer, Becca and Liam get closer. But, Adria still can't admit her feelings for Devin, as Becca keeps the flirting between the two men going.
They find a box of letters from Charlene and begin the hunt. Now where are we going?

This is the fifth book in the series and there are more clues that lead the group on their hunt to discover who wrote the love letters to their mother. So many mixed signals and failures to act, will they ever start really communicating with one another? Is the wishing well truly magical? This book had some huge revelations and ended with a cliffhanger. Looking forward to how this story resolves itself.

I don't know if this is a 2* or a 10!
The storyline is awesome, the way it's broken up into so many books truly sucks! I'm sorry to the author who earned a five star for writing but I can't give it because of the way it is presented.
