I kissed her cheek and stepped right the f*** back to let her have this moment completely to herself. “You’re breathtaking with charred wings, angel.”

This book was the straw that broke the camel’s back 😅🫠 literally and figuratively all at once…Memphis comes on strong with her feminine rage that boils over into her sheltered but charismatic personality. She wants nothing more but to end those that destroyed all the good in her world and Daddy Utah is by her side every step of the way. Ember did it again by captivating us from page 1 all the way to page 532 all of us heathen menaces will remind you every day how much we worship you 😅💜

Wow😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 my heart!!!!! I read book 1 & 2 in this series in Feb this year & I will never forget the emotional hold they had on me & I can confirm this book also hit the same.

Ember Nicole is an incredible writer and deals with such difficult traumatic subjects with such care & detail. These books are dark but I absolutely love them so much.

All of the characters!!! They are such a bundle of fun & joy together. The banter was🤌🏽

It’s hard to write anything without spoiling it.. but just know you’re entering in an emotional traumatic action packed story filled with love & care.

What an emotional rollercoaster! I need the next one ASAP please!!

‘Is that how this works now? She says jump and you ask now high?’ ‘No, she says fuck me and I ask how hard’ - the way I was kicking my feeet!!!🤭🤭🤭🤭

BOOK REVIEW
Live For Me by Ember Nicole
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
▪️spoilers ahead▪️
🔥⚡️🌩️⛈️⚡️🔥
Happy Release Day Ember and Happy Birthday Daddy Utah!
Y’ALL stop what you’re doing and get you a copy of Live For Me right now! This book had my heart racing so fast, I felt like I was in a cartoon and you could see it beating right out of my chest. And then the ending. I’m sorry, what?? How can you do that to us in just a few pages? I even knew there was a cliffhanger if you can even call it that. It’s more like jumping off the Grand Canyon and hoping you catch a branch because OH. MY. GOD. I know LFM was just released but are we allowed to ask when Book 4 is coming? 🫣
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC from the Chaos Queen herself, Ember Nicole. I have been looking forward to this book since I first read the Broken Bounty Series. Live For Me is book 3. You need to read Break For Me and Survive For Me first, in that order.
This book will leave you panting for a fictional man that will move right to the top of your book boyfriend list…Daddy Utah 🥵🔥⚡️
"Looks like the kind of skin I could spend a lifetime trying to memorize, just to have to accept that a lifetime still wasn't anywhere near enough." Who says this! There were so many more quotes I could choose. I had 44 highlights on my kindle and I hardly ever mark anything in a book. Utah is oh so sweet, funny, and sexy as sin! 😉
Memphis is such a relatable and lovable character. She is a quiet, nerdy, overthinking bookworm who wants to be left alone, until she doesn’t. This book does not shy away from exploring her flaws, vulnerabilities, and past traumas. BUT Daddy Utah is there to comfort her Every. Step. of the way! "You were never broken, sugar. The pieces that you try to hide because they hurt are usually the ones that make you exactly who you are. Sometimes people just need to be shown that the painful parts of themselves need to be loved that much harder before they figure out how to do it themselves."
Their chemistry is off the charts. I am a sucker for a slow burn and the slow dance these two perform for half the book is **chefs kiss** Utah knows exactly what Memphis needs in more ways than one and isn’t scared to push her limits to break down her walls.
I was nervous we were going to miss out on more banter between Jersey and Trista as well as Jersey and Utah but they’re back baby! I squealed at Jersey’s entrance. This again just goes back to how freaking sweet Utah is (IYKYK). As for other characters, I can’t forget about the biggest goofball, Indy. He comes in with the best comedic relief. So many complex characters but they are all written so extremely well with such intensity that you feel as if you are a part of their “misfit corn crew” the entire book.
The ending of this book will leave you begging for even just one more page. Check the trigger warnings because LFM is not for the faint of heart. The subjects and situations she explores can be heavy, intense, and challenging, with themes that may unsettle some readers. But for those who appreciate dark romance that isn't afraid to go to the edge of darkness, Ember Nicole's work is both captivating and emotionally rewarding.
This is a book that will 100% stick with me because I connected with the characters so much and absolutely loved the entire story. I am anxiously awaiting to see how their story ends but for now it stays “between you, me, and the lightning, angel.”

Love Always, One of your Heathens!

Resurrection.
That is how I would describe this book for the heathen crew.
Utah has shown our girl Memphis how to Live again. While there is mild rage included in this novel - my favorite aspect?

Living.
Memphis lives.

“You could ask me to show you the snow in hell and I’d sell my soul right to Satan for a fucking snowflake, Memphis.”

And he did.
What happens in this part of the series?

Living.

I fell in love with Utah in book two of this series. Without knowing his name. Without him even speaking. It was witchcraft. After reading his book, I love him even more.

This book is all about really getting to know our characters. Learning a bit about their lives and how they ended up where they are in life. Let me tell ya. It was a ride. Definitely caught me off guard learning things about Memphis. Her and Utah are two total opposites. Memphis is very calculated. She needs to plan every outcome of every situation before it happens. She needs to research something and know everything about it before she can physically do it (the gun situation had me rolling). And Utah just goes with the flow. I swear, Utah is perfect for her. He helps her start living without ever being too pushy and making her uncomfortable with anything. He’s the sweetest man ever.

THE BOOKS!!!! Iykyk.

This one is definitely a much slower paced book than the first two books in the series. Those two were like an action movie. Go go go. Constant movement. Constant excitement and action. Live For Me is more of a slow paced emotional ride down the lazy river. Not top thrill dragster.

I quite literally spent this entire book swooning over Daddy Utah. Every thing he did was *chefs kiss* And Memphis? I don’t even understand how she can be the person she is today with the past she had. I definitely liked being in her head and understanding exactly how she processes things.

Once again, I highly recommend this book. While this book has two different characters from books one and two, this series needs to be read in order.

“I would find a single motherf***ing grain of rice on a sandy beach if she was the one asking for it.”

“You could ask me to show you the snow in hell and I’d sell my soul right to Satan for a f***ing snowflake, Memphis.”

⚠️ Spoilers and Tropes below ⚠️

How am I supposed to keep reading romance books when I just met God-tier-level book boyfriend Utah? Seriously, there is only Utah now.

Ember is the master at writing books that make your pulse race, your heart swoon, and your chest ache from both laughter and angst. She handles traumatic subjects with such care and consideration, that I can feel her soul in these books. And while the subjects discussed within the book are dark, the relationship between Utah and Memphis is pure light. They are the antithesis of Jersey and Triss in just about every way imaginable. As a result, this particular book is much less chaotic and action-packed, instead more focused on battling through internal struggles and emotional healing.

Let's start with our (mostly) gentle giant MMC. Everything that you see, is everything you get with Utah. He hits the ground running demonstrating his patience, his compassion, his astute attention levels, and his freakishly calm demeanor. Utah is simultaneously one of the most unobtrusively masculine men I've read about, and the most loving and supportive when it comes to Memphis. He has zero qualms about embracing what he feels for her and has the patience level of a saint when taking his time to demonstrate his love without overwhelming her. Utah is the calm to Memphis' internal chaos, and I love the journey he walks with her on to take back and embrace her power.

We learned during books 1 and 2 that the organization sets people up to be traumatized beyond repair and then recruits them as broken people for various morally grey purposes. In this book, we find out what brought Memphis to the organization and it's a doozy. The signs were there if you know what to look for, but it was still incredibly heartbreaking to read about her experience. It explains her actions and her quirks. It explains her drive for justice. Through her budding relationship with Utah, her friendships with Indy and Triss, and her father-figure relationship with Jersey, Memphis starts to truly heal and grow beyond her trauma. Also, it was incredibly satisfying to see Utah bring her back to life. Physically. Emotionally. Sexually.

While this book is focused on Utah and Memphis, I loved that Jersey and Trista return to Indiana and once again are part of the misfit corn crew. The hate/hate between Jersey and Utah is hilarious, which makes it even more special that Utah had a hand in their return. Seeing characters from previous stories (in any series) is always a delight, especially when you get to see them in new perspectives. It was fun seeing a more healed version of Jersey, while still having the same old seriousness and snark.

Overall, your takeaway from this review should be this: READ IT. For Utah. For a great ongoing plot. For sarcasm and banter. For Utah. For quality spicy. For feminine revenge. For friends who help you heal. For Utah. Seriously, read it.

* Please note, you must read Broken Bounty Books 1 and 2 first, this is not a standalone*

This book was EVERYTHING!!! 😭😭😭😭
Freaking Utah man...what can I say other than fucking perfection. Tragic past and all...the way he handles and helps Memphis is just everything we could have hoped for...and more. So much more. 🫠🫠🫠
I couldn't get enough.
From the way Utah first struggle to just function around Memphis, our boy has it bad for our girl, to him helping her check things off a list of things she's never experienced.
The stargazing 🫠 the fact that he retrieved her books....and black box of fun. 🤣💀
Just the way he knows when she's spiraling with her thoughts and the way he brings her back down, with words or action. He just knows. 🥹
And freaking Indy, omg I absolutely love Indy so damn much. To be his friend would be just the best honestly. Never a dull moment that's for sure with him.
Ohhh and we get to see how Triss and Jersey are doing throughout. 😊
We all know our misfit corn crew have dark tragic pasts, but I don't think anything prepared us for Memphis's story. It was utterly devastating. I wish I could give her a big hug. 😭 I absolutely understand 1000000% on why she thinks and acts the way she does. And when she got a bit of revenge.....I couldn't be more happy and proud. I desperately wish I could do the same as she did.
Watching her come more to life and experience the things some of us might simply take for granted, had me smiling so much. The damn corn maze field scene !! Yall, that scene was just hot.
And can't forget to mention....we get to learn their real names !!!! 😍 not gonna share what they are, but I absolutely fucking love their names. They fit them so damn perfectly. Now I want to know Indy's name. 🤔

However, the events that shortly followed.....
Wtf. Why Ember. How are you gonna have us going from having the time of our life at the moment...to what followed. 😭
Please for the love of all our anxious hearts don't make us wait too long for the next book. That cliffhanger was one of the most heart stopping of cliffhangers ever.

So much happens throughout this book, I've gotta stop before I possibly spoil anything...
I'll just say this, you've gotta read these books.
They hit your soul so deeply and you're wondering how you'll function now that you have to once again wait for the next book, but it's all worth the wait.

Thank you Ember for the arc and for giving us Utah and Memphis. 🫠🫶🏻

Ughhhhh. How could it end that way???!!! Screw you (in the most loving way possible) Ember!! If Em doesn’t do anything else, she’s gonna deliver the angst and leave you hanging. I already can’t wait to pickup mystery book number four in this series.

I had a feeling that Memphis and Utah were gonna be my favorite. And they most definitely are. Their relationship scratched an itch in my brain that I didn’t know needed scratching. Utah is the most kind, thoughtful, and patient man. He was sensitive to Memphis and all of her trauma. I enjoyed reading about how they explored eachother in the most raw way. Utah deserves all the forehead kisses from me.

If you are looking for a plot resolution, you won’t find it here. This book mainly serves as a way of propelling the plot line of the series. Not much was “resolved” per se, but that was the point of this one (at least I think it was lol). “Live For Me” was primarily character-focused in getting to know who Memphis is and who Utah is as individuals, and as a couple.

This book is definitely my favorite so far (and I honestly don’t think it can be topped) simply because I loved these characters with every fiber of my being.

E, I know you will read this. I need answers. I need you to hurry up and finish book 5 and ease all of this anxiety you just gave me. I want a personal apology for all the panic attacks you have given me. Love, your pretty girl.

"An addiction. You taste like my addiction, Memphis. Like I'd sell my fucking soul a million more times for the next taste."

Ember has a special way of making an emotional heavy book- with twists and turns, heartbreak, trauma, cliffhangers, wtf moments- and turning it into absolutely chaotic perfection.

This book is a five star read, just like the first two in this series. Which again, just to reiterate, this is a series. This is NOT a standalone.

I fell in love with Daddy Utah pretty earlier on in the series and that has only been intensified tenfold. That man has ruined my expectations of how a man should act.

My thoughts on this book are too spoiler-y because I am not very good at controlling my emotions when I reacted to her books. Just ask mother, the voice memos were a roller coaster.

She made me feel seen, more than any book or fictional character has. In a way that, unfortunately, people should never need to feel seen, but hey, sometimes life sucks. You just gotta find a way to turn that shit into good.

This book was more than words could ever describe. If you have not read the Broken Bounty Series, I HIGHLY encourage you too.
Not only will it ruin your expectations for all the medium ugly average men in your life, you fall in love with the characters and the way she tells a story.

"She took my brain and it's power to form coherent thoughts and tossed it right into a blender."

🖕🏼 Oops, wrong finger, I mean... 👆🏼 Quite literally what mother did to me.

Live For Me (Broken Bounty #3)- Ember Nicole
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve said from jump, there’s always been something about Memphis & Utah for me.
I’ve read every single one of Ember’s books in one day, this one was a grand total of like 6 hours.
I devoured it like it was my last meal.
I could have crushed it up and snorted it.
Utah is such a special soul. The most perfect, terrifying hulk of a man I could ever imagine!
And Memphis. My sweet little broken goth Barbie. Their slow burn, friends to lovers story was a DREAM!!
The stark contrast between the chaos that is Trista and Jersey and the calm, easy love that is Utah and Memphis made my little scrunched up heart sing.
I am in LOVE WITH DANDY!!
Like this post IMMEDIATELY if Ember needs a Kyle x Dandy Novella. Bark for Me. (Broken Bounty Series #3.5)

I wanted to completely love this, but I understood that this is a different route for our characters.

I loved Utah! He did not disappoint!

The thing that bugged me a bit was that not much happened until the very end of the book. And I do not know how to feel about that.

I loved having all of the characters together again ... the banter between them is unmatched 🤌🏽

Although I understand what is the intent of this one, I did not quite love that route because I was left wanting.

I am excited to see where this leads into the next one 🤞🏽 Hoping that everyone gets a happy ending.

I have so many feelings and so much turmoil going through my head. DADDY UTAH EFFING FOREVER. Memphis, my love - my heart is broken for you and I will not recover.

Mother…WHY? JUST WHY? You have the video evidence to prove that I cried and screamed and threw things. I laughed until I couldn’t breathe, screamed until my throat hurt, and squealed like a five year old kid. But my heart will never recover. I cannot WAIT for book 4!!!

This book is everything to me. I love the first two books in the Broken Bounty Series but Live for Me is by far my favorite. There was laughter, giggling like a schoolgirl, crying, yelling, anger, and a whole lot of “oh no, no, no…don’t do this to me Ember”.

Utah is just the sweetest man! He pushes Memphis to her limits and always seems to know what she needs when she needs it. Ya’ll the way I was swooning over Daddy Utah for most of this book!!!

Memphis my beautiful goth girl! I feel for everything she has been through but I am so proud of how far she has come in this book. I can’t wait to see the woman she becomes in the next book.

The banter was just perfection! I was laughing so hard especially between Jersey Boy and Daddy Utah. Indy and his shenanigans can’t help but make you love him.

If anyone needs me I’ll probably still be eating my feelings until I can read the next book.

🌶️ — 3.5/5

It’s been a while since I read the first two books in the Broken Bounty series so trust that Live for Me is not in any way, shape, or form a standalone. The series definitely needs to be read in order — I felt like I needed to go back in reread to brush up on details a few different times and even referenced my reviews on books one and two multiple times during my read.

That said….what does one have to do to find her very own Daddy Utah? I loved Jersey boy but Utah? UTAH???! My heart was not prepared for how much I adore that man. The way he cares so deeply for Memphis, the way he goes 100% at her pace because he can tell she is somewhat fragile, the way he calls up her best friend he literally cannot stand because he loves HER and he knows she needs her best friend. Like I’m sorry what? Sure, he has some red flags of his own but what Executioner didn’t am I right?

I’m telling you — this book, THIS SERIES is top tier and I am desperateeeee for more!

✔️ forced proximity
✔️ suspense
✔️ banter
✔️ Daddy Utah (yes he gets his own highlight)

I’m going to try my hardest to not make this extremely long but there is a lot to be said about this book. Going into this book I knew it was going to hurt on some level because it wouldn’t be an Ember Nicole book if it doesn’t hurt your soul even a little bit but when I tell you this book hit home I mean it. The way that I relate to Memphis and how her experiences in life wired her brain to react to the world in a very specific way sang to my soul. As one of many many people who struggle deeply with depression and anxiety and insecurities, I felt at home with Memphis and her mentality about life and relationships. I think that is also why I love Utah so much! Don’t get me wrong the words that come out of that man had me melting at every turn but he also made me cry on many occasions because he will do ANYTHING to make Memphis feel special and loved and safe. Having someone in your life that can lift the weight of what your brain puts on you and chucks it out the window is no easy task but a very special person to have. This book is easily going into my top 5 of the year and has become my new comfort read. Thank you Ember for putting this in the world and showing all the Memphises of the world that they aren’t alone and they are loveable no matter what they think about themselves or anyone else. 🖤🖤

ACTUAL CHILLS reading the ending.
There was smiles and then absolute chills esp that readers note ♥️👌🔥🐈‍⬛️

Firstly...
The frigging info and warning page had me grinning and worried. So what does that tell you besides I have a few screws lose.

Ok where do I begin with this review and LEAVE out spoilers.

This is BOOK 3 in the bounty series so 1&2 are a must - go read them. .. what are you still doing here?

Great. Now that you've done tyat/or if you already have--
HEATHEN Queen ate and left no crumbs when she wrote this baby
We pick up with Jersey boy & Tris gone
Straight into action and taking defense seriously
The way we learn about these characters is smooth, there's some familiarity from previous two books but dripped into their subconscious stream is my favorite, so explaining who , looks, what is going on. Just placed right in the middle of rhe chaos and it is BEAUTIFUL. I love books that flow that way. If you don't like learning the story as it plays out and want to slow download crazy description and detail for multiple chapters first...then these books are not for you
LOVES
- how the men's interest /obsession and primal instincts towards the Female of interest is described.. LOVVVVVVVE
Straight tingles
-

Appreciate
-growth or characters
- prev FMC and MC make appearances & still around
- fully fledged characters including trauma. Kinks, growth, emotions. Just it's whole ass humans

The plot Is a natural progression
The intensity is UNPARELLEL
Seriously, how she writes these MEN and their possessiveness protectiveness is top tier

Daddy Utah yeesh

EN wrote the perfect man somehow. And the fact he's not real is a goddammit travesty cause he's just the perfect combination of all the things.
Fuckin hell

K but besides the strong kick ass characters.
Secret organization that keeps getting more and complicated.
Bounties, evil ass president, trafficking. Check your TWS.
While we see the two FMC and MC get closer, there's a whole web weaving- underground ring being discovered and attempts being made to dismantle slowly from inside but not in a rushed way.
It's been slowly unraveling, or reasonably unraveling over months, over books and continues to drive us forward as we learn about our characters and their own messed up beautiful traumatic lives.
This WILL be a cliffhanger and more to come

A 5 Star 🌟 ✨️ read and definitely recommend starting with Broken Bounty 1 & 2

Utah and Memphis. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this book for my entire life and the wait didn’t lead to disappointment. This book was EVERYTHING.

This entire series is impeccable, I could never give it anything less than 5 stars. While this is the first book in Utah and Memphis’ story, this is NOT a standalone and you need to go and read Break For Me and Survive For Me before you start this one!

Daddy Utah. I have been in love with him since the moment I met him and I have been LIVING for this book and to finally have it, have read and experienced it. Fuck. It was everything I needed. Utah is exactly what a book boyfriend should be. He is THE book boyfriend. The way he cares, the way he puts himself last and puts our girl right at the front of everything. Utah isn’t without his own trauma but he knows who he is and he will do everything he can to show Memphis who she is and what she deserves.

Our girl Memphis has risen and she is a goddamn motherfricking QUEEN. I’m obsessed with her and she deserves to live the most beautiful life.

The way Embers books are so beautifully and heartbreaking chaotic will never fail to amaze me. Forever her books are filled with so much horrific trauma and devastating heartbreak but yet it’s done so perfectly and beautifully.

There was a moment in this book that resulted in me hysterically crying (well, many, but yeah) this book made me feel seen. I connected with Memphis on such a deep and devastating level that absolutely ripped my heart out but I felt my heart slowly being put together again, along with our girls. I feel like when you have lived through some of the worst trauma, your heart gravitates to the characters and the stories that mirror those experiences. Stories like this help my darkened heart because they remind you that you are not alone and maybe these characters aren’t real, but they feel real and the experiences are real. They came from a place of hurt and a place of trauma and to not feel alone? Because of words on paper? When life doesn’t help you with that? It’s fucking beautiful.

Thank you ember for sending me a copy of this arc and for trusting me and everyone else with this story. Absolutely. Fucking. Perfection.

There are a few authors that deeply affect me when I read their work in all kinds of emotional ways. But none in as intensely a soul stealing way as Ember Nicole. She hurts me in the most fabulous of ways that I can’t explain. I did my best to patiently wait for Daddy Utah and well he is everything and more than I could have ever expected. Pure perfection and my oh my that mouth. It’s panty incinerating at its finest. This perfect, in every way, man will be in my heart forever and ever and yeah, ever. Live For Me quite simply is incredibly written taking us into the deeply emotional tortured lives of the characters. Experiencing and feeling every complex moment of anxiety, heart gripping fear, emotional turmoil, and the most spectacular passion. So much happens in the evolution of this tragic yet magical romance. Ember Nicole‘s characters are flawed, battered, bruised, and quite unstable yet incredibly relatable. How many times I felt one with Memphis is too many to count and wishing for real life Daddy Utah moments, endless. This book has so many highlighted moments and I’m sobbing writing this remembering them all. Thankful for the banter and smart assery to give a respite from all the throat punching feels. This book must be read blind, after checking the trigger warnings, because the way the story flows, weaving in pieces of tragic history into the current turmoil is masterfully done. So much deep emotion blended with action, twists, suspense, heartbreak, and passion is a perfect bomb cyclone of writing as only Ember Nicole can do.
Bottom line, if you have not yet read the Broken Bounty Series stop reading this review because you can’t read this book yet anyway. Go get Break For Me and Survive For Me and read them because they’re freaking amazing. Jersey and Trista are phenomenal. You’re gonna love them and then you’ll have absolutely no choice but to dive into Live For Me which follows those two books in the series

Oh yeah that cliffy is infuriating!!!! Seriously WTF!?!?!I’m gonna be mad for a bit. Just a bit.

ARC REVIEW

Live for Me - Ember Nicole

5/5⭐️

📚📚📚
First I start with this is one of my most anticipated read of this year! That cliffhanger we left on last time I’ve been just dying to get back into this world! Well with it being my most anticipated read I wanted to savor it and take my time soaking it all in, wow am I glad I did just that! This book was everything I could have wanted and more!! I will be giving no spoilers for this one because you just have to read this whole series to understand why it will absolutely consume and destroy you all at once. The emotional rollercoaster I was brought on while reading this one was just perfect. The way Embers writing truly makes you feel exactly what those characters are feeling is my favorite thing about her books! The banter I ate up and the found family in this series I have connected so strongly too! Memphis is just a favorite and completely has my heart 💗 and Utah just left me speechless!

Overall if you haven’t started this series yet, what are you doing?! You need too!! I highly recommend it. I will patiently be waiting for book 4 now because damn Ember the chokehold you have on me!!

If you like to read:
- Dark Romance
- Enemies to lovers
- Age gap

Thanks for the arc opportunity for Ember Nicole. As always, this is an honest, voluntary review.

What an absolute honor to read this ahead of publication!!!! I'm pretty sure anyone who's spent more than five minutes with me and I deemed worthy of great big secrets that could shake the world, knows by now that I FREAKING ADMIRE EMBER NICOLE!!!

This series has grabbed me by the throat (and zip tied me and threw me in a trunk) right at book 1 and it just keeps giving and giving and giving and also taking and taking and taking, mostly my sanity and my heart. The emotional roller coaster I'm put on every single time I open a book in this series is something else. I go through all the damn stages of being drunk without ever having a drink (something to consider for next time)... I had to stop at the damn trigger warnings just to prepare myself. And of course I wasn't ready. I laughed like a maniac, wept like a baby, threw tantrums, sent rude messages to Ember and now here I am, ready for more because I just love being hurt by this lady.

Oh, that you want me to talk about the book? Well, Memphis is such a little ball of anxious baby, I just wanna love her forever and Utah... oh, that man... Listen, Jersey Boy will always be my main dude and Triss is my spirit animal (if I don't say daily I'll smack someone around then never) BUT Memphis and Utah... This was such a special, extremely emotional, heart shattering yet incredibly liberating story, I can't even... Tris and Jersey Boy might be my babies but Memphis and Utah are my children now, I decided to adopt them, yep.

Now... I guess I'll have to reread this series from the start.

𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝓂𝑒, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔, 𝒶𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁.

We are back to book 3 of the Broken Bounty series and it is finally time for Memphis and Utah (heheheheh I know their real names now)

𝔸𝕝𝕝 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕕𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕤 𝕡𝕚𝕖𝕔𝕖𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕞𝕖 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕠𝕟𝕝𝕪 𝕓𝕖 𝕦𝕤𝕖𝕕 𝕥𝕠 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕥𝕖𝕔𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕟𝕠𝕨

I describe this series as my walking red flag series, that will leave you wanting more even after you have been emotionally destroyed. I knew that a cliffhanger was coming but I still was not prepared for the sucker punch that came out of nowhere when it finally happened.

𝕐𝕠𝕦'𝕣𝕖 𝕓𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕔𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕕 𝕨𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤, 𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕝

Every Memphis needs a Utah. Someone who loves all the broken parts of them until they are ready otherwise love those parts themselves. Who sees them for who they and who they have always been even when there is a 17ft high steel enforce concrete wall around them as protection. who gives someone a reason to live. I’m 1000% with Memphis when she thinks he cannot be real because he embodies everything there is to be about a top tier book boyfriend!

𝕄𝕖 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕞𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕗𝕖𝕖𝕝 𝕤𝕒𝕗𝕖 𝕖𝕟𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙 𝕥𝕠 𝕓𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕨𝕙𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕒𝕝𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕪 𝕒𝕣𝕖

Ember through everything into this book. Building on the events of the previous 2 books and lulling us into a false sense of security with every forehead kiss, moment of healing and top notch banter. I am not sure what I am going to do if the outcome of the cliffhanger is not what I want but I have a feeling that it’s going to destroy me.

If you love the below you’ll love this book
🖤Age Gap
🧡Slow Burn
🖤Forced Proximity
🧡Found Family
🖤He falls first

🚨oh and for the love of all the heathens check the TW!!!!🚨

FIVE STARS. I saw so much of myself in Memphis. She thinks out every possible meaning to anything anyone says. She’s always been told she’s too much and somehow that feels like it’s not enough. We both mention screaming into the void on a regular basis. We’re both weird goth girls who communicate mostly in sarcasm and do not take things lying down. We share a lot of the same emotions and experiences when it comes to relationships.

That topped with the fact that Memphis looks EXACTLY like me. 5 ft goth girl with black hair, piercings, tattoos, and green eyes. Down to the EYE COLOR you guys. FMCs NEVER look like me. Do you know how many times I said “of course!” out loud every time I read another similarity between me and Memphis whether it be physical or personality? It felt like this book was written just for me.

Utah… Utah is the partner every person who is healing deserves and needs. Because why shouldn’t we be loved while we’re healing? He loves how weird Memphis is. He wouldn’t want her any other way. He loved her quirks, he protects her, he’s patient with her, but emphasizes that she does not need him because she is strong, but that it’s ok to let someone else help carry the things that are weighing you down. He pulls her out of her shell in the gentlest way. I don’t have enough words for Utah, but he has definitely cracked the top 10 book boyfriend list 🖤❤️‍🔥

I can’t say enough good things about this book. I couldn’t have ended 2024 with a more perfect read than this. It’s easily one of my all time favorites. Thank you for making me cry and kick my feet. Thank you for showing that us healing weirdos still deserve and can find the love we need.

Ember did it again 🥴

One day, I'll get used to having my soul ripped tf out and put back together repeatedly while reading one of your books, but today is not that day, and I am PERFECTLY alright w that 😅🫠

Memphis is a lucky woman, and I would sell my first, second, and third born for just a NIGHT w Utah 😆 kidding, maybe.

This book took me THRU IT Y'ALL 😮‍💨 I felt anger, sadness, and lord when it storms 😉😏

Daddy Utah is now officially my new fav book boyfriend. It's okay, I'll share w all the heathens 🖤🤘🏻🫶🏻

"You came back here because it was storming,"

"I came back here because you were about to sext me straight to my own death while I was driving."

"You came back here because you missed me,"

"I came back here because I love you, Memphis."

Their relationship was everything I was hoping and praying for! Ember, you absolutely killed it with this one 🥰 They are perfect, he is perfect, and she is perfect. EVERYTHING was absolutely perfection.

I'm billing you for my therapy 😅 & will be sending you a box of my snotty ass tissues because you did thissss. 🤪😘

If you all haven't already jumped into The Broken Bounty Series, this is me demanding y'all go stick it on your TBR for the 2025 season. I want y'all to feel what I'm feeling 😇

I could literally write a book of every single one of my favorite quotes from this book, but I want y'all to experience it for the first time without any kind of spoilers, so I'll limit them 😅 but mark my damn words, new ink will have SOMETHING from LFM 🤤🤤

“Between you, me, and the lightning, angel.” ⛈️

Laughter. Second hand embarrassment. Tears. Heartache. It takes a lot to break me but Ember does it every time without fail. This was no exception. I had a hunch some of that was coming, I felt it in my bones. I had never been more grateful for foreshadowing, but even knowing a slight hint of what was going to happen didn’t help.

What did help was Daddy Utah. Pushing her buttons, pushing her limits Utah doesn’t give up on Memphis and somehow gives her everything she needs whenever she needs it.
Mr. I have no tragic backstory and then goes on to give a classic Ember Nicole backstory is tragic in his own right, but the mouth on that man. He even says the sweetest things and it melts panties.

Memphis. That poor woman just broke me in so many ways. She’s the embodiment of what a woman can become when someone tries to break her and it’s just such an inspiration to see her rise from the ashes of her past like an angry phoenix. Did she handle any of that in a healthy way? Of course not, she handled it with her wits and feminine rage like we all wish we could.

I just love Ember’s writing style in general. Her characters are tortured and funny and beautiful and so easy to trauma bond with. I don’t know what it says about me as a person for falling in love with all of these walking red flags, but I think it is telling of Ember’s gift.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Live for Me is the impressive third book in the Broken Bounty Series by Ember Nicole. This dual pov book follows Memphis and Utah, as well as others from the previous books. This dark romance is intended to be read in order, not as a standalone.

In the world of judges and executioners, Memphis and Utah were brought together in the last book, where they were not the main characters per se. This book focuses on their blossoming relationship and the unfurling of their tragic pasts while trying to uncover a horrible human trafficking ring.

I knew I loved Memphis before this book, but finding out how incredibly strong she is despite all she has gone through solidified it. This petite powerhouse will use her brain to demolish you while enjoying her favorite smutty novel! And just like Memphis, I go weak in the knees for Utah.

Oh, dear, sweet Utah! This man and his mouth. He is wholly devoted to her from the beginning. He is both gentle and so damn dominant at the same time. He would burn the world down for her.

Ember, girl, you continue to be one of my favorite authors. Your words are magic, and your characters are perfectly broken in every way. I adore them. You can crush me with a single sentence. You also promised us that you would never hurt the dog…

Thank you to Ember Nicole for gifting me an eARC of Live for Me. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
