Blood Lands is the third book in the Blood Kings series by Shade Owens. I have truly enjoyed reading each and every book in the Blood Kings Series. Each book just seems to get better and better with each turn of the page. Once I picked up Blood Lands I was hooked it drew me in from the first page and had me racing to the end wondering what was going to happen next.

Leo and his friends are trying to make their way to Society Land. They believe that Society Land may be a safer place to live. Leo and his friends have been dropped on an island as they are criminals and they are serving out their time on the islands. There is more than one island too with very dangerous men living on them.

Leo’s journey across the island is not a safe one as there are more criminals living on the island. Some are very dangerous and mean real harm to Leo and his companions. But they do meet some new friends along the way.

Blood Lands kept me hooked as Leo and his friends made their way across the island as they faced many dangers. There are times when Leo and his friends may have to fight their way across the land. Can they make it to safety? Is there even a safe place on the island to live?

Blood Lands is a well-written story that held my attention from the very beginning. The terror that Leo and his friends faced along the way kept me glued to my seat as I could feel the tension as it ramped up over and over. I was afraid for Leo and his friends on more than one occasion as I raced to the end rooting for them the whole way.

I highly recommend Blood Lands to anyone who loves a good thriller novel. Grab a copy of Blood Land today!

Our young hero is growing into a man and learning to fight. But even more terrifying than the journey he finds himself on with his growing number of loyal friends is that he has learned to kill. This is book three in the series and while it doesn't end on a cliffhanger, per se, it continues. After everything that Leo the MC has been through, I can't imagine what will come out of this author's mind next. A great series with excellent character construction and a fast moving plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. While I want to sincerely thank the author for this ARC, this is my honest opinion.

I received a copy of this book from the author.

This book had my full attention from the first line of the prologue. I couldn’t put it down.

After escaping the horrors of Gang Island, Leo, Niles and Marco are hoping to be able to live away from everyone in Loner Island while they make their way to Society Island. But if that were the case there wouldn’t be a story.

This book follows their trials and dare I say it adventures through Loner Island as they discover all is not as it seems and try to head for Social Island.

This is an exciting read and I would recommend the series. I’m looking forward to book 4.

A good, well written continuation. Leo, Niles and and Marco continue their journey to Society Land, facing many dangers and obstacles on the way. Left on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out what comes next. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
