At the age of eighteen, I moved out of my mother’s house and ended the toxic relationship I had with my family. Then, I joined the Blackwings MC and found the family I wished mine could have been. We’re a brotherhood and always there for each other. When Judge needed help getting caught up on orders at his security company, I was happy to help. I had no idea that one of his customers would steal my heart with her worry-filled eyes and a glass of lemonade.
Blakely
When both of my parents abandoned me as a newborn, my grandparents stepped in and raised me. Years later, when my grandparents retired, they decided to travel the country and left me to run their storage unit facility. Everything was going great until my estranged half brother showed up unannounced and asked me if he could put his belongings in one of my units while he served thirty days in jail. Oh, and he also wanted to leave his three-month-old son with me. I shouldn’t have agreed. But I did, and that’s when the trouble started.

This was action filled with lots of twists and turns. The cast of characters where great and meshed. The niece was a trip..Games mom was an enabler. But the end game was great ..
This book is good, but it could've been GREAT. It left A LOT to be desired. I wish it were longer. ):
Grant/Game and Blakely were awesome. Their families sucked and they came out of it better and accepted the family they deserved. I liked that neither was toxic and treated the other like shit despite their upbringing and both were hardworking. They were both all in right away.
I didn't like that the infant just a device to move the plot forward, but didn't actually play a role at all, imo. It was just poorly written and he felt like an afterthought and it made her character arc fall flat.
I am excited for the next book! If there is one. There was a hint about a woman named Zoe and I hope it's not a dead end.
This book really hammers home that blood family isn't always good family, but those that choose to be family are the ones that will have your back. Both Blakely and Game had some bad family, but they found good people to be around. Blakely at least lucked out with her Nana and Papa, while Game, it was all trash. It was interesting too how the two ended up with a connection from the bad family, one they are making the most of and one that is going to be 100% better off with them.
As things quickly spun out of control for Blakely, it was nice that Game and the club were there, that she had people at her back as she navigated things. It really allowed her to find her HEA with Game.
Yet another great book by this author! Loved that in the end Blakey got her happy ending as well as Grant but it was sad that Ben had gone so far wrong as to end up dead and never see his grow up!

Good but it needed more. I think I said it with the last book too, it needed more relationship building. While Game and Blakely were nice together I felt like something was missing. Landon and Spazz were a nice bonus. So is anyone left for a next book? Or are we on to the next generation? Also, what were the babies? Boys? Girls?
Game & Blakely: triggers- drugs, child abandonment, gun running, assault, gun violence, family discord. At the start of the book, Game does not get along with his blood family, so he chose the Black Wings to be his family. He wants nothing to do with them. Then we meet Blakely who was abandoned as a baby and is desperate to build a relationship with her half brother, so when he stops by her job and asks for a huge favor, she doesn't deny him. He needed a storage unit but didn't have money, oh, and his baby needed care while he was gone. Blakely meets Game while he's working for Judge adding security cameras to the storage facility. They bond and begin building a relationship over food. The two are burning up the book. Of course something was off with her brother and she begins to get the heebie-jeebies when someone comes around asking questions. Turns out, her brother may have brought trouble to her door. But Game and the club will do anything to protect her. This was a really good story that has an important lesson. Blood doesn't make you family. If that ain't the truth…. I really enjoyed this one and I'm really curious to see if Landon and Spaz will her a book or maybe a quick novella. I'm not into MM romance but these two are totes cute.
Teagan you did not disappoint with Game and Blakely's story. I truly enjoyed every single minute of it. This book starts off with a twist and it continues straight through to the end. We get mystery, danger, suspense, and of course the slow burn between these two characters! When I say they sizzle and burn I mean they sizzle and burn. Blakely has a beautiful heart and is willing to help anyone out... even her half brother whom she barely knows. This is where the story picks up and gets real interesting. Enter our hero.. Game is sent out on a job and he is lucky enough to meet our beautiful Blakely. The hit it off right away and things between them progress from there. Game's family history is quite toxic and he was very lucky to find a family with in the Blackwings MC. Blakely's parents did the best thing for her by giving her up and her grandparents stepped up and did what they couldn't do they raised a smart strong young lady. They bond over the fact that their childhoods were not considered conventional. When danger comes knocking on Blakely's door we get to see the MC do what they do best and rally around one of their own. I cannot recommend this series enough!
Game + Blakely The story of these two had me intrigued and hooked from the very beginning. Not only does it kick off with a little twist that leaves you wondering what will happen but the moment these two meet the relationship between them was filled with lust, tension and a wholesome natural vibe. They share a bond over their childhoods and simply are meant to be! Game!!! I instantly adored this man who after living through a toxic childhood found himself a family with in the Blackwings MC. Loved this for him!
Blakely is such a sweetheart who will help anyone one out, even a brother she barely knows or hasn't seen for years. But will helping him put her in danger? Sparks not only instantly fly between these two but Blakely sends Game protectiveness in to overdrive. The need to protect her is strong so when danger shows up on Blakely's door Game is prepared to do whatever it takes to keep her safe, including involving the entire Blackwings MC. Their journey was filled with banter, friends, family, suspense, action and a few unexpected twists. I enjoyed the entire ride!!!
Game left his Mother behind after years of being treated horribly and found his way to the Blackwings MC. They showed him what families are really about. When he gets a call from Stuff - it a storage facility needing a check on their system he shows up but is immediately taken by Blakely. She is sweet and beautiful, he knows she is old lady material, but will she be willing to date a biker?
Blakely feels like Game is the one for her, but she has a bit of a problem surrounding her life currently. Her half brother who she never really spent time with growing up asked for her to watch his three month old son while he spends 30 days in jail, little does she know this is going to put a target on her back. With Game by her side will they be able to keep her and her nephew protected?
This was another great read in this series. I thought Blakely was a sweetheart and Game seemed smitten from the get go. Blakely's best friend is a hoot and a big surprise in the story. Can't wait for more in this mC.
I truly enjoyed this book and all it's feels! Game is book 8 of the DEVIL SPRINGS chapter of Blackwings MC. There is a previous series, Blackwings MC. This is considered a standalone. While you can read and enjoy it as a standalone, I would not recommend it. I would recommend that you begin with the original Blackwings series, then book 1 of Devil Springs, Copper.
I love the focus on family and community. I love the connections and the goodness and even the edge and the darkness sometimes required so the lights can shine.
I would highly recommend this book for any adult due to mature content.
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of compassion, protection, kindness, understanding, being aware, and finding your soulmate. I enjoyed Grant(Game) and Blakely's story. I think the author did a great job putting these characters together. Blakely was in trouble and didn't even know it. Her brother was the one who put her there. Blakely had a friend that was there with her every step of the way, she also had Game and his club with her also. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.
Game aka grant meets blakeley when he fixes the security system at her business she is going though a little bit of rough time due to her estranged half brother baby and the trouble he has brought to her front door but with the help of Game and the blackwings mc. Game has settle into the club his chosen family his blood family are nothing but trouble.
In blackwings style we have laugher fun action love and family bond this is another great book by teagan brooks and hope it's not the last blackwings mc
This is a new author for me. So glad I gave her a try. I really enjoyed this story. I liked the characters and got immersed right away with the plot. There is lots of action revolving around a child, drugs, and shifty relatives. One doesn’t choose blood relatives so when they turn out to be toxic for your wellbeing, be sure to find others who can be your family.
I am going to go back and start reading the entire series. I didn’t realize when I started that I was reading book 8. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.
I’m not ready for it to be over!!! I have enjoyed all the Blackwings MC books - both chapters. I am so sad to say goodbye! I feel like they have all become dear friends.
Grant and Blakely’s meeting was so natural and they clicked so well. I had my suspicions that there might be more connections than initially revealed. It’s a small, small world! I love their love story!
Blakely and her bestie Langdon ran a storage place and had been friends since high school. Blakely had been abandoned by her mother and raised by her grandparents. Grant/ Game had left his mother after a cousin (Dani) came to live with them and lied and manipulated his mother against him. He left his biological family and joined a MC making them his chosen family.
I love the blackings mc series by Texan brooks this series is the first work of hers that I have read and I was not disappointed I have never read a mc book before and this series has left me wanting to devour a bunch of mc books, I like the world she builds and the characters she creates and they are all ways well developed
This was a terrific, yet complex story with many unexpected twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. It's another great addition to this series, and I hope that there will be many more. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
Blakely's life is quiet until her estranged brother shows up with a baby. Soon after she meets Grant aka Game and they're taken with each other. Their idyllic life shifts when her brother's secrets are exposed alongside some other surprises to the story!
I sincerely hope this isn't the end of the series I am so glad we got to see spaz get his happy Also that twist was just completely awesome I love the black wings family And I hope that there are more books. I would love to see some stories about the manglers And Sloane's family Or maybe even some next generation
Game and Blakey were a wonderful and memorable couple. They both experienced horrific and abandonment issues in childhood. They met while Game was fixing her security situation. I enjoyed reading about the other characters in this series.
I could not stop reading this story, I just kept turning page after page. Blakely needed cameras on her storage center plus extras on her house. So guess who was sent out to do the job, Game. I highly recommend this.
It all starts so normal, young love, the attraction is mutual but due to other people’s drama, both Game and Blakely are drawn into dangerous situations. You should read this one. I couldn’t put it down.
Them all again. I would give this book a 3.5. Fun, light hearted, but not much depth. Could have been a bit longer and more intense but still just a good read between more intense books.
Game and Blanket were awesome. I love Reagan getting her mojo back and giving us these epic stories!!!!! Holy holy I think my heart broke and was glued back together!!! Awesome story. No Spoilers!!! But oh my gershwin!!!!
