Melody is a famous model and she has a stalker who has been sending some disturbing mail. However, it comes with the job, and most of the time it is harmless. If you ignore it, they will go away. There had been nothing to red flag the situation, that would cause her to believe that she needed to involve the police. Until she returned home, from a long trip away from a photo shoot. When she noticed the door to her home ajar. Now obviously, she never watched a scary movie in her life. Because she would have known, you never go into a home alone under such conditions, and, yet she did.
The only thing she noticed was that her bedroom window was left open. She knows she wouldn’t have done, that because she was leaving for the photoshoot. Now she had been talking to her friend, Veronica as she was driving home, and when she said something was off, she must have been the one that called her brother, Marcus to go check on her. With the way she hung up, it didn't give much detail, to, Veronica. When Marcus arrives he brings the biggest pain in her ass with him. Right away she is shaking her head, ‘No, not happening.’ Marcus is trying his best to give the right reply and or answer. Basically, he says he’s not playing when it comes to her life. Calming her a little not much.
His meaning is clear. That Lucas didn't become the billionaire that he is, by his good looks only. Meaning, that he is good at his job and has not only the best security system available but also he is the best to keep close and keep her safe. However, there is more at play than either of them can either guess. He has around-the-clock surveillance and he has to pull in other teams from out of town because there are so many players at a high level of deceit. And not only are you dealing with her the high profile celebrity, but also a model. She also has a political father and rich mother, and her brother, his best friend. Is the mayor. Yeah, it's complicated.
Then there is the pesky ex that just won’t ever go away. Especially, when her mom and brother keep encouraging him. I have to say, that both Melody and Lucas frustrated me because she was always *itching, that she wanted to continue her life as usual. As if no one was out to harm her. Where Lucas kept saying, ‘This is for your safety’, instead of, ‘We are trying hard to save your life. You know from someone trying to kill you.’ I still don’t get what sparked, Marcus' attitude toward his best friend over his sister. Considering she is twenty-eight. Good story.

Melody is a model who has just become the face of Elysium’s latest fashion line. She had been getting weird emails but she doesn’t think about it. She comes home from a shoot to find her front door open and her bedroom window open. Her brother Marcus is the mayor and he shows up with her dog Peanuts. Marcus is concerned about the break-in so he calls his best friend Lucas. Lucas owns SecurElite a premier security company. Lucas and Melody have never gotten along but Lucas does appreciate the view. Marcus asks Lucas to handle the bodyguard duties of Melody himself. After a couple of people were taking pictures of Melody and Lucas, Lucas decided to move Melody and Peanuts to his secure penthouse. After the kiss at Melody’s house Lucas wants more but Melody can’t admit that she wants more too. Will Lucas be able to keep Melody safe? Will Lucas be able to confront his past and deal with it? Will Melody get to open her boutique? Will Lucas and Melody find love and happiness together?

The lead girl character is ridiculous
She's one of those people in a movie you love to hate. I was sitting for the stalker at one point.
Lucas is trying to do hid job but its not very professional to seduce your client....but this is fiction.
I liked the mystery, drama, intrigue, romance and violence.
I don't know if it was meant to be this way but I knew who the stalker was very early in the book. Information was dropped but not shared (common theme in these books).
Toward the end the good guy and bad guy are fighting...they each have guns. The female lead character picks up a rotting stick, why? Because she is going to help!

Really enjoyable read. Melody and Lucas can't help the pull they feel for one another but Melody is concerned about the fact that Lucas is her brother's good friend and thinks it would be a bad idea to be involved with Lucas. Lucas is drawn to Melody from the beginning and will do anything to protect her. Very entertaining story with a wonderful HEA.

Overall, I liked the book.
It was well written and who Melody needed protection from was a well-executed twist. I liked the "hero," Lucas; I found him to have a lot of depth and I think he was a very well-written character overall. My one issue with the book was Melody herself; I get wanting to be an independent woman and not wanting to give up your life but she has a stalker and there was an incident severe enough for her to land in the hospital. At that point, you are just burying your head in the sand and not taking it seriously. Lucas had the right of it when he pointed out that if she doesn't take it seriously she won't have a career or a business because she will be dead. I just found her whole outlook on the situation to be unrealistic; there were several really serious incidents with the stalker and she still refused to acknowledge the danger she was in and the danger she was putting others in with her denial.

Melody is a famous fashion model. She is representing a fashion line and trying to start her own fashion boutique. She also has a stalker issue. After her house is broken into, her brother hires his best friend Lucas, who owns a security company, to be her personal bodyguard. Lucas was in Secret Service and has his own trauma. Melody is independent and Lucas wants to be in control. They don’t see eye in eye. But there is also undeniable chemistry between them. When the threat is escalated, Melody has no choice but follow Lucas’s lead. As they finally give in to the attraction and cross the professional line, neither believe what they have will last. The plot is quite complicated. The mad man behind the stalking has a very weak logic to do so. Melody is a beautiful and bratty woman and wants everything going her way right away. It is hard to be sympathetic to her struggle. Lucas seems to be a likable guy, family oriented and works hard to get to where he is. He just seems to like models, not your average woman.

I very much enjoyed this brother's best friend/bodyguard story. Sweet, romantic and suspenseful.

Takes a bit for the two to open up but once they do, the deep feelings surface and the skyrockets ignite. Plenty of action, suspense, danger, twists, steam, entertaining situations and chemistry. Billionaire Bodyguard is such a captivating, suspenseful and engaging story. They storyline was well paced and both characters have amazing chemistry. Mel needs a body guard after a stalker pops up, so her brother enlist his best friend, Lucas.

Jessi always gives us wonderful stories, and this I like from beginning to end. Melody is a girl who is used to doing things her way, but has a stalker and her brother hires his best friend Lucas as her bodyguard. The situation between them is not easy. I totally recommend this reading.

Melody's life is in an uproar when a stalker breaks into her house followed by her being attacked. Her brother sets his best friend on her for protection, and he does so by moving Melody into his home. Now they are up close and personal, and sparks are igniting between them. Now Melody has another problem to deal with losing her heart. Will Lucas take out the stalker and her heart as well. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

This is a wonderful book with spirit and great characters. I enjoyed the journey that Luca and Melody went on, there was tension and some drama and many steamy moments. The author has given us a story that will keep you glued to your pages.

Jessi Jade is an incredibly talented author! This book was amazing. I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from start to finish. The relationship between Lucas and Melody is an amazing and beautiful one. I highly recommend this book.
