About the author

Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.

I know virtually nothing about the art world which is the setting for this adventure, but as always Cap Daniels not only tells a good story, he is informative, so I can keep up. In the Russian’s Sloth Anya’s heart and caring side comes through more clearly. She is more than an efficient agent and dangerous killer. Other characters in the team of agents are fleshed out as well. Will Anya leave the team? Will everyone live? The mission is exciting, the action intense, with twists and turns that make it hard to put the book down. Once again Cap delivers and I cannot wait for his next story.

“The Russia’s Sloth” by Cap Daniels is the newest release in “The Avenging Angel Series, and in my opinion one of the best.

The author has created a cast of characters who, while continuing to evolve, are strong and believable.

The plot, and sub-plots, works extremely well, and the characters perform their tasks within it perfectly. For more about the plot please read the author’s blurb.

Yes. I Highly Recommend this book. While it can be read as a standalone my personal opinion is that reading it in sequence will make it more enjoyable.
