I gave this book three stars because this could’ve been resolved in one book. Book 2 was repetitive and a lot of fluff! The last two chapters were the best and it’s still ended in a cliffhanger. She introduced new characters and plots for no reason at all.

She really ain’t have to and this book like that. On top of all the other twists in book 2 now I’m stressed out about this fictional character. I can’t wait to see how she wraps this series up. Sometimes book 2’s can be a bit boring but the plot kept moving and the intrigue continued to build. I’m locked in and headed into book 3 right now!!!

Such a journey!! I am so invested in this series. Lisa does a great job intertwining three separate storylines in this one. I was waiting to see when Gabe and Litty would come back into the fold. I like that there was a backstory on Tuscany/Gilberto because my girl went through enough and I want them to save her!! That man is evil..! Goal is everything and just what Aphrodite needs. Now I wait for book 3! 😩

I was anticipating the conclusion to this read, as book 1 left me breathless! Was happy to get more information about Tuscany's backstory, and it was heartbreaking. That damn Gilberto is the devil! Just evil, heartless, and straight trash! 😡 I could not believe the ish that he did on some get back, because he could not have his way! Ughhh.....
When them pieces started coming together, and secrets came to light, I was stunned! 🤯 How could one person be so manipulative?? Because of money?? Pride??? Ego??? Whew! 🤬 The trio of Goal, Brock and Kilo are on the job, and they are out for blood!

When I say I never thought that my mind couldn't be more blown with the shit that this book is revealing I mean that. Like I am so geeked that Athena is back alive but damn the plot of how she went missing aka baby napped it just diabolical. You are telling me this hoe as n*gga Gilberto planned all this shit and now is letting the plot unfold.
Kilo mama is the lady that that Tuscany knew 12 years ago...I was def flabbergasted with that revelation. To know that she is still around and made sure that ya girl was good is mind-blowing.
And shit that ain't even the only thing that is hella surprising, you mean to tell me that the lil sis that Aphroditie has been looking for all this time is the same girl that she has become besties with and her realtor...like gottdamn.... this is messy.
Miss haddie been caring for Athena all these years and didn't even know it and now she done been elder napped by gazebo ugly ass.... yes, that n*gga got to die for sure.
And the fact that the nurse that administered possibly and signed off on the shit that happened 5 years ago with Diety and her pregnancy is that delulu obsessed ass bitch.... oh, she def done dug a hole that she bout to become really acquainted with.... what did Goal say.... oh yeah Demolished....her ass is grass...

Whew! That ending I was not ready for that ending but hopefully it was a part of the plan cause he is wayyyy to calculated for somebody to get the drop on him like that. I’m trying to like Bag but I’m still bitter about how he did AP back then 🤷🏾♀️. Goal is just 🤗 Lawd I love his energy when it comes to AP. He ain’t playing about her and I love that for her. Daphne is miserable Lawd how you got that much hate for a woman that don’t even be worried about you. Quasie need to stop playing with Eleven when she knows she ain’t gonna be with Kilo and them kids. I need an understanding of what she trying to hold onto cause I’m confused. Kilo karma knocking him in the throat okayyyy you cheated on that good woman and getting 18 yrs of suffering🤣. I hope Tuscany and Ms. Haddie get out there safe cause Gilberto is bitter and feel like everybody owes him something. Okaayyyy sooo I want Litty and Big Gator to be together in the future cause clearly they’re both smitten with each other. Chile I guess I gotta wait until part 3

Kilo apologized to Quasie now they need to get a divorce, keep holding on to her is going to have her resent him. Kilo just needs to focus on his kids. Quasie will be free to do what she wants. She must decide to tell Aphrodite, that she's her or wait. Ms. Giselle drop a bomb on Kilo. Ms. Haddie got to be the the one out safely to get them all out Tuscany is not well enough. Daphne is a trash a** bish, we all knew her hatred and jealousy ran deep for Aphrodite but dang. Baguette is losing his mind over his daughter. This book is all over the place. There are too many relationships, i.e., Aphrodite & Goal; Baguette & Tuscany; Kilo, Eleven & Quasie and Litty & Gator wtf. The author seems to not be focus on the main storyline. Then to have to read 3 chapters before she starts where book 1 left off was aggravating. I don't even understand why there is another book for this series. I lost interest bcuz this was just a mess to me and I couldn't focus on this book anymore. I'm not even interested in the next book. I know the author received a lot of great reviews but I just didn't feel the same as others.

I’m so glad that Tusc story was told out loud because Brock was going to have to shoot me my one foreal. I knew they were sisters. I called it in the first book. Did you really have to link every dang body Lisa. I mean I ain’t mad but sheeshhh. They you bringing mamas back from the afterlife too smh lol. This book was so dang good. I cannot wait for them to get up with Dalphne. Also, Goal has ppl watching them even though he and Jett didn’t go in the store; somebody straddling the fence?! Ion like that suspicion. I need my two Halloween books, but book 3 immediately after please 🙏🏽.

Going into this book, I’m thinking this book is going to solely be centered around baby Athena & her return. Then BOOM! You’re hit with plot twist after plot twist. Tuscany & her son, Quasie & AP, Kilo & Ms. Giselle, and even the fact Ms. Haddie has somehow been the ties that bind this whole time is crazy! Then once things sorta kinda calm down BOOM! You’re hit with a shocking cliffhanger! When that baby whispered in her mommy’s ear what she overheard, then shots ran out … you’re hit with a go be continued! Definitely looking forward to book 3!

Okay, I could kick my own self. This book has literally been in my library for months but I was not really feeling it base off the synopsis. Man oh man, had I known how good this book is, I would’ve been read it. I don’t even like series because I feel like the authors are always dragging the story out. However, this was not the case with this one! This series is the bomb! I love the characters and the storyline. Great job so far Ms. Austin, I can’t wait to read book 3.

Lol now, Goal didn’t have to be done like that. 😒 His revenge game is about to be so deadly cause Lisa is not about to play in my face like that! I just have a feeling so many new babies are about to be running around 😂, but can’t wait for part 3!

Got to wait for Part 3?
I would have gave 5 stars but there are some typos and additions to the plot that don’t seem needed. Loved how the story picked up from Part 1 but some things seem unnecessary like Litty and Gator. Also unless Eleven plays a major part in the story regarding Athena’s kidnapping, is his story with Quasie important to the plot?
I hope Part 3 fills in the gaps in the plot.

Lisa Austin that cliffhanger has me in a chokehold and I need for Goal to be okay in part 3. This crew has gone through so much and even while trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together on how Athena was stolen from Aphrodite and Brock things just keep getting crazier. Secrets are being revealed as well as new enemies and everything points right back to Gilberto, I can’t wait until he gets his karma he has gotten on my last nerve.

Oh my goodness, dang this book/series was absolutely exhilarating from the convoluted storyline of book 1 to the complexities of the final page of book 2 ! “Exhilarated 2” was a great. I’m astonished by the cruelty of Gilberto (and the cartel). However, Gage got just the cure for his daddy’s (oops!, sperm donor’s) slimy a$$ …. Money/Power/Respect 🐊🤣😂🤭‼️…if Gage vengeful a$$ don’t kill Goal first😬😲🫣‼️

With each book, Lisa Austin's writing gets better and better. I read this book slowly in hopes that the next one would be ready. All I can say is my heart felt like it stopped with this ending. Why would you do us like that Lisa? Excellent read. Unpredictable. Exhilarating.

This story elicits so many emotions! It’s so well written, you can’t stop reading! All the characters’ storylines are so in depth (like, who knew Athena was bi-lingual, although it’s very likely)! I love reading everything Lisa writes and I can’t wait for part 3.

Ok, I'm glad a lot of questions were answered in this novel but there are still so many secrets and things left unresolved! I just hope we don't have to wait too long to get answers and I really think its a little far fetched that the ending would be possible! Lisa Austin please don't keep us waiting too long! I am glad they got their baby back. I love aphrodite and goal together. Aphrodite had a wonderful relationship with Baguette. It was it was beautiful saying them with their daughter. I am glad Quasie and Kilo were able to talk. Somebody please get to Tuscany😢 And Goal better be okay. Definitely⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lots of tea spilled in this book but lots more questions still unanswered. Lisa has painted an interesting picture thus with Gilberto and Daphne at the center. I need to understand the why? That's not clear yet. Especially since it doesn't seem Gilberto hurt or raped the girl. Daphne deserves to be tortured. Idc. Hope Goal is OK.
