The book Your Adam Is Asleep Until God Opens His Eyes, became a call to action for single Christian women to date with intent. As a Christian Coach and a member of the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors, Dr. Velma has coached/counseled over 30+ years, providing pastoral/pre-marital/marriage counseling.
Dr. Velma continued her writing on love and relationships with her short Kindle story, My 70s Love Story, & found in the Back in the Day Anthology. She shares dating from the 70s perspective, when dating was for fun, and guys treated girls more respectful. She jokes about her “husband to-be prayer list” and how God changed some of the details in the man he sent her. Dr. Velma uses her inspiration from her own blessed marriage of 48+ years to her high school sweetheart and does not hesitate to be transparent when she shares her personal journey, which is rich with tips for women prior to saying “I do”.
Her 2020 release is a Christian fiction book entitled A Place Called Down-Why Christians Suffer. She deviates from a relationship-focus topic to bring us into her own testimony of tests, trials, and tribulations, to offer insight into a place of suffering common to us all. She shares why God allows it and how He is in control the entire time. She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW).
She returns to her love of writing about mate-seeking, dating-relationships with her upcoming book entitled, The CATCH No One Wants-Discover the husband you deserve through intentional dating, releasing in 2022.

Dr. Velma Bagby The Wrong Catch She’ll Tear Down The House , readers have a front row seat into Pastor Greyson men conference room ,the men are very transparent with focusing on seeking a potential wife.
Women pay close attention to each speaker as they tell their accounts of the wrong catch , women as you hear each testimony will you listen in with truth and transparency and with accountability , self reflection.
The real truth is Women are you ready for a relationship with integrity , honesty , transparency ! Bravo Dr. Velma is very intentional with her audience and readers of all walks of life this is a must read and should be on the shelf of pastoral care!

“GENIUS!!!!” This book had me on my toes from start to finish! I will never look at microwaves again in the same light! The way the men in the book unraveled their memories and their traumas dealing with the wrong women they encountered was funny yet frightening! It made me want to be an even better me!

Title: On Time, but Late
This powerful little book will be a tremendous help and very beneficial to young men in college or recent college graduates contemplating marriage. All three books in the series give a wealth of knowledge, following Rev. Greyson's methods, along with praying is the key. Rev. Greyson's advice for men and guidance in books one and two of the series go hand in hand.
I believe had my ex and I had this type of counseling back in the 60's we may still be together today.

Married and still learning
This is an awesome series. Not only is it entertaining, but is very educational when it comes to relationships. I have been married for a long time and I am learning things that I wish I had known then that would’ve helped me to be better. I have a wonderful husband, so I’m grateful that the Lord bless me. I think this should be required reading for every woman and man, especially before they agree to courting.
