I thought this book was good. It hit the ground running and I was really caught up in Jax and Morgan’s story. About 60% into the book it seemed to drag a bit and wasn’t holding my attention as well. It picked up again and the ending was really good. There was lots of emotion and spice throughout the book and all the characters are very likable. I think it’s a worthwhile read.

Another great book by Ms. Parker! She does a terrific job bringing a second chance romance with strong characters in Jax and Morgan. She takes you into their lives as they are forced to work together and find the chemistry is still there. It's a smokin hot romance with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a fantastic read. Loved and recommend.

Too much overthinking
Nice story, but too much banter and too many other characters chiming in. I would've like the main couple connecting sooner and developing their relationship. It made me skim over endless conversations. Their steamy times were rushed and not particularly romantic. Also too long and the second epilouge was silly.

Jax Holloway and his twin brother Max own a successful marketing firm,and they are on the prowl for new customers, hence their appearance at the conference where he comes face to face with his ex-girlfriend Morgan McClintock, who, after several years of dating incollege, dumped him to pursue her career. There’s nothing like competing against an ex to get your feathers ruffled! It made a change that the ex was a male who had been dumped by his girlfriend as she wanted to concentrate on her studies. After their marketing pitches they both agreed to work together on a combined approach. I could see this only going one way and it didn’t take too long for them to fall into bed together.
At first I didn’t particularly like Morgan’s character, she came across so career focused to the expense of everything else.
Jax’s character seemed a definite playboy type but then as the story went on it came to light this was his response to bring hurt by Morgan whilst they were students.
I liked the way they both knew the right thing to do but couldn’t resist each other.
The book built up to a tense ending would Morgan choose her career above Jax again. Definitely had me reading quicker to get to her answer.
Another great story which ticked all the boxes.

This was a lovely and awkward second chance love story between Jax and Morgan. These two were together in college, but Morgan wanted to put her career first before love, so she broke it off with him, even though he was in it for the long haul. They went their separate ways and each made a name for themselves in their respective careers. Now, they're fighting for the same advertising contract for KICKS, and even though they are competing, that old chemistry is still going strong! Now, how do they both retain their jobs and figure out a way to make it through to the other side together? This was an honest and raw romance, and I enjoyed the fact that they recognized their chemistry, but need to put in some work to make it something more than that. Turns out a happy ending is hard to come by, even when you have a second chance.

Morgan is a strong college young woman who was determined to make a very hard decision for her future without Jax. They were college sweethearts for years. Jax was so supportive of Morgan insisting he would be her biggest cheerleader and supporter but she was insistent they breakup. I liked her determination but not her mean actions toward Jax. She broke up with Jax and he was devastated. I felt his hurt and pain. Their lives go on. Unexpectedly they come back into each other’s lives at a business conference. Morgan is forced to face her repressed feelings. They are rivals for a marketing account. This love story takes off with countless ups, downs, uncertain moments, with rapid, hot emotions and sensuality. Just WOW! This book took me on an exciting journey with Jax and Morgan.

There are booths with brands if they choose them. He can’t believe his eyes when he sees Morgan from his college days, ten years ago. She now works for an advertising firm, also. She broke up with Jax to pursue her dreams. They are both vying for the same brand in a booth. They are both amazing in their jobs and end up working for the same brand together. This is a story to be in awe of. This is a slow burning story between love and career, with trials and tribulations galore. Can they, especially Morgan, ever have a relationship with Jax and get past their past? Worth the read to find out.

The previous two books asked me to start falling in love with these men, so before I even cracked the covers, I was already more than half in love with Jax. Discovering the vulnerable heart behind his swagger only pushed me over the edge all the faster. My opinion of Morgan was a lot more varied throughout the book, and it kind of all depended on what she was blaming Jax for at the time. Since this is a second chance romance and it’s got all the snark and spice of enemies to lovers, I was deeply invested in seeing these two find their way to Forever. Now, I can’t wait to see what causes the rest of their office mates to fall.

Jax’s plans for revenge turn into a campaign to regain career-focused Morgan’s heart after a chance meeting gives him hope for everlasting love with the woman he could never forget.

Wow, Morgan and Jax will cause you to lose a little sleep, because once you start reading this book you won't be able to put it down. Ali definitely has another winner with this book. They were an item in college and then went their separate ways. Fate brings them back together when they are tasked to work on the same project. Their chemistry is explosive and there is a little of enemies to lovers romance in play. A great book with interesting characters and an engaging story line. An HEA and no cliffhanger. My only reason for giving this book a 4 is that it was so long and there was so much information in it that may not have been necessary. There was a lot of double-talk and I felt like it could have been slightly condensed.
But you will enjoy their romance and the way they loved to work together!

Ali Parker does it again. She really knows how to make a story come off the page. Morgan & Jax have history all the way from college. They have now both become successful in their professions. The story takes you on a journey of insecurities and wonder of what could have been and what can be now. There is lots of heartbreak and miscommunication, but there is lots of joy in their story. HELL-O is aptly named. A good read...

What a terrific read. I loved everything, including the catchy cover. This story follows Jax and Morgan. This is a second chance love story. When they happen to bump into each other while doing their best to impress a potential client they find themselves angry and resentful towards each other but also a bit sizzling chemistry was thrown into the mix. They end up having to work together while fighting for the project and their chemistry hit’s the roof. Im not a big second chance reader, but the story grabs you along for the ride and pulls you into the story. Really enjoyed.

Jax and Morgan couldn’t fit together any better if they tried. He was adorable and just as in love with her now as he was when they were teenagers! What a guy, a little angst for me on and off through the book. Tell HIM! Tell HER! I just wanted to make them tell each other, not just think about it. On the edge of my seat, just couldn't stop reading! I love all the ups and downs and the HEA was just the best ever! Must read! As usual supporting characters are memorable too.

Hel-lo, indeed!
Well, this Ali Parker book is one I both enjoyed end disliked. I love the connection between Jax and Morgan; that is truly hot and romantic. He's clearly a mamly man who isn't ashamed of being whipped. Not whipped in a way that had Morgan dominating him; whipped in that he was in live and wanted her and the world to know it. *swoon*
I didn't like how repetitive it was, though. And the fact that Morgan over-thought EVERYTHING got old, quick. At least Jax wasn't bothered by her overthinking everything!

I knew this was going to be an amazing story after reading the first chapter. Jax and Morgan make firey opponents and even hotter lovers. They both have grown since Morgan broke up with him in college stating that she wanted to focus on her career. Jax never forgot her and tries to be a pain to get back at her for breaking up with him. They fall in love again after having to work together on a pr campaign. It was just the story that needed to be told for them.

A love story 10 years in the making.
Very good storyline with solid characters that are forced to work together, and try very hard to fight the irresistible magnetic-like chemistry that threatning to explode at any moment.
Great descriptions, lots of emotions and nice doses of steam.
Recommended to those who love office roms with messy feelings to untangle ;)

The story begins with two people who use to see each other. Morgan but a stop to the relationship when she wanted to advanced her career. Jax and Morgan were college sweethearts until she dumped him in pursue of her career. Now they are face to face battling for the same company. When they are both selected to come up with a campaign where one will win it is game on but when feelings start to be part of the mix will these two get their chance to rekindle the love they once had. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

Jax and Morgan had a hell of a road to get to their happily ever after. They fought their attraction but upon being teamed up for a company campaign for KICKS they realized they were perfect for each other. Their banter was on point and this book had me laughing swooning and wanting to shake the characters to figure it out. Ali did an incredible job and this book is one you don’t want to miss.

This love story of Jax and Morgan is quite touching. They were college sweethearts when she dumped him in favor of her career - she thought she had to choose one or the other. Finally, in the end, she realized she could have both. It took growth on both of their parts to acknowledge this and move forward with their life together. It's a great read!

Morgan has loved Jax since they were in college but she wanted a career and didn’t believe she could have him as well. Now years later they are both trying to secure the same contract but to get it they must work together. It's an enjoyable second-chance story.

I thought this book had a good storyline. I liked Jax and was excited to read his story. I really struggled with Morgan. She seemed to think that this is Morgan’s world and they’re just living in it. It was a little too repetitive for me and unfortunately seemed to drag a little. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
