Mira continues her investigation into Chimera, slowly following the trail of breadcrumbs to the organization's source of power. On the way she acquires new allies and meets old friends. And as such the light-hearted (in that Mira does not face any real challenge) story continues. For the most part I like the story and its characters, which is important for stories like this. There are a few moments were Mira acts more like an old dirty man and we have the occasional women behave in a way that in a reverse situation would result in a lot more trouble than a head chop, nothing new, eyeroll moments for sure, although I do get the impression it is getting more common. Still, a good read even though I would want to see some progress in the why of the world or at least a bit more speed with the current (likely) side plot of Chimera.

Reunion

Mira finds herself fighting the forces of a group called Chimera Clausen. I don’t know what their aim is, but I think they may be possessed by evil or something. It’s either that or greed. I started to skim through some of the chapters, but we did get a portion of story where Meilin, another one of the Wise Men, teams up with one of the Skyfolk. That was entertaining.
