Chase Adams, part of the FBI’s Children's Victims Unit, thought she’d seen it all. That is, until a truck loaded with the bodies of children is discovered abonded on a freeway in the middle of nowehere.
It's a sight no one can unsee, and the more they look, the worse things get–signs point to a chilling use of a biological weapon.
Now, Chase is plunged into a race against evil, unearthing shadows and following trails that might not just lead to more dead children but a sinister plot that has far greater implications for all of the United States.
True story: I used to cut up bodies. No, not for fun, you sickos–for work. After reaching the age of majority and fleeing the clutches of an overprotective mother, I went to university like a good boy.
More than a decade later and an alphabet soup of letters after my name, I found myself looking down the double-chamber of a microscope at an eyeball. Feeling ironically introspective, I decided that it was time for a change.
After seventy plus novels and more than a million copies sold, I’ve found my true calling, one that also includes a plethora of letters. Hopefully you see something in my catalog that you like, something to feast your eyes on.
I also have two spooky podcasts that are appropriate for ALL ages, so long as you like to be scared: P.T. Logan's Five Minutes of Terror and Camp Fear. Both are FREE and available on all podcast platforms. For MATURE audiences, I've created two fiction podcasts, Nightmare Residue and Bad Priest.

I liked the 4 year jump. Chase is more chilled out and doing much better in her life. She has a family and loves her job. It was obvious who created the virus as the FBI don’t just use any lab USA in reality. The “why” was a great twist.
Please get an editor, reading group or wife to read the book and fix all the errors. Words missing, punctuation and such because it really throws the entire flow of the book.
I rarely , if ever read books over. I started to read a book bookbub release of one I missed and immediately knew I had to read these again. Lots of likeable characters with interesting and adventurous stories. I do enjoy his writing so thanks, Patrick. I did notice a lot of spelling errors in this one tsk ,tsk. Was your arc readers having a party with booze involved? Just kidding , thought I'd pass that on because it's unusual with your books. OK, on to the next book.
If you are thinking about reading the Chase Adams series, do it! Start with the first book though. "Deadly Cargo" is just as good as all the others. Patrick Logan has an amazing talent. You'll end up reading each series.
Great stories from this author, but it is in need of some serious proof reading!
I have read several Chase Adams books and I loved the series, but the last few episodes were so full of errors that I am feeling somewhat reluctant to continue to support an author that seems to churn out volume over quality.
Being a big fan I have read all his books, every series. Yes he's a bit flaky ( sorry Mr. Logan but you know it's true ) but well worth the loyalty. Can't wait for mire from him.
Enjoy the crazy characters and exciting circumstances in these books. Patrick LOGAN KEEPS THINGS INTERESTING AND THE READER TURNING THE PAGES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
