Her wild night out has not finished as Nicole now finds herself enjoying a great snake by Chef Jake in his apartment. Once she is sated she is tired and with a wait time for an Uber Jake offers her his shower and then to take a nap. They end up in bed together, but no hanky-panky. 4.5 ⭐s Nicole meets all of the roommates!

Nicole left the club with Jake. The man is a Greek god, even larger than Rex, and one who really knows his way around the kitchen.

After a wild but yet short night, Nicole is making coffee when one of Jake's roommates walks into the kitchen. She's beginning to think there must be something in the water here. Jake made Rex look small but newcomer Shawn makes both of the other men look small. Next to arrive is roommate Christian. He's smaller than the other two men and hot and sweaty after a workout. How have all these HOT men come together under one roof, she wonders? Then in walks Rex...

I have been waiting to read more on this series, the first book was such a fantastic introduction, this second installment did not disappoint.

Jake proves to be the perfect gentleman, making Nicole something to eat and offering a place to stay for the night, that is until she makes it clear she's open for more. Which leads to a steamy morning for them both.

We finally meet the remaining flatmates, which happens to also include Rex.

Based on these first 2, I really can't wait for the rest of the series.

Receiver's Game is a great follow up to the opening book in the Training Camp series. Nicki has already been with sexy as hell Rex at the club, but in this book she finds comfort and sustenance with Jake. In the same night.

First Chef Jake feeds her. Then he consumes hers.

In the end, both will be even hungrier.

And without giving anything away, Nicki will meet some other amazing heartthrobs and find herself in a very sticky situation.

Check it out. Loving this series. Can't wait for Nicki to conquer the nest man in her building harem.

Nicole goes home with Jake where he makes her a meal. After enjoying the meal, Nicole is tired, and Jake convinces her to stay overnight with no expectations. They have their fun and, next morning, Nicole meets Jake's roommates.

I enjoyed this tale. I liked the chemistry between Nicole and Jake. I was not too surprised by the roommates. I look forward to meeting each roommate on his own. I just wish this were one book instead of separate books although it does raise the anticipation level of the series.

Wow...Nickki really is better without her ex, she's really coming back to her true self. Lucky girl has just met another 2 hot alpha males Shawn and Christian who apparently live with Rex and Jake. Expect plenty of witty banter, laughter, sizzling chemistry, tension and more throughout. Nikki hasn't even started her new job yet, but it looks like moving to Texas was the best decision ever. Nicole 2. Adults only!
Much like the first book, Nicole is trying to put her life back together after a break up. So why not have some fun in the meantime.

You should be able to tell that the books are only 50 or so pages, so they are very short reads. They end on a cliffhanger so the whole story will not come together until the end of the series and they should be read in order. They are meant for fun and entertainment. So far, that is what they have been…and steamy. Lol

Nicki has come home with Jake, a chef who is very fit. She only means to have a snack, but she is too tired to make it home, so Jake offers her a place to sleep - his bed. Their intentions are to just sleep, but....

This is a very short and quick read. It is the second book in the "Training Camp" steamy series. They need to be read in order. Her boyfriend, who cheated on her, has called her boring, and then broke up with her. Now she is about to have one fun and steamy adventure. Kandi Lane's Receiver's game is book 2 in the Houston Hornet series. Each book is a stand alone. I enjoyed book 1 and what I liked about book 2 is the continuation of the story of how Nicole met her harem. I cannot wait to see how the next book is in the series. This is a short novella that can be read in one sitting. This story had my attention from the first page.
