Inklings is a collection of poems in English and some in Hindi. The poems are matched with 🔳B&W mini sketches that enrich the reading journey. There is 👌good use of poetic devices.
The subjects are varied.The theme of 🫶self-love stood out for me. You will relate to some or the other poem. I savoured several 😍beautiful phrases such as 'gratitude is like counting stars in the galaxy', 'liquid dreams and 'pour love into me'.
My 🤎favourite poems are Enroute the Sands of Time, Sultry Serendipity, Overcast, पिटारा and Uncap.
Readers make no mistake, the 'inklings' are neither small nor to be slighted. They ✊pack a punch of feelings that will cast a 🪄spell on your 💗heart.

'Inklings' by Himani Arora Gupta is an intriguing compilation of poetic verses that traces out the journey of finding inspiration amidst chaos and despair. These poems are mainly reflection of poetess personal life experiences and inspires the readers to grow in darkness.
Most of her writings are short and insightful that touches modern-contemporary form of poetry. While, few pieces are free-verses and some of them falls under the category of limerick or snippets. Apart from this her writings are accompanied by creative illustrations to make our reading experience more interesting.
Cover of the book is unique and aesthetically curated giving us a feel of mixed emotions of human life. Overall "Inklings" is a beautiful compilation of writings. I really enjoyed reading them over a cup of coffee.
