What in the bloody hell was this volume even about?

I was so confused... so we start off learning that Ma-ha has given up his playboy ways (which we found out before) but not his male friends find out and are shocked...and he texts Hye-min in the middle of class so the teacher reads it allowed and she's super pissed and finds him at Piper and starts yelling and hitting him and then suddenly they're somewhere else hollering about a tarot card reading and then suddenly they're back at Piper and Ma-ha is planning an evening long date that Hye-min refuses to go on? I get it that these are all taking place at different times but they all happened so abruptly and randomly and all of those things were so pointless it was really confusing. And then Ma-ha breaks his arm and then a few pages later it's healed?

This volume had a lot of random little things happening in it that really didn't add to the story. The randomness made it hard to follow, and I was pretty annoyed with it. I also thought Ma-ha had some scheme going, but it seems like he actually really does care for Hye-min... which bums me out a bit.

Shin-bi is still the best.

3 more volumes to go. Let's see how everything goes down.

i really like this series' delicate probing into what makes a relationship. of particular note in this volume is Ma Ha thinking about his parents' marriage, and how past hurts can be papered over but never undone.
