Join the Fellside Mountain Rescue team one last time in this eighth and final book of the series.
Ryan: I love my motorbike, and I'm a tattoo artist; both make me a rebel in the eyes of the villagers at Fellside. Especially the little spitfire running the shop next door gets her knickers in a twist whenever she sees me. It doesn't help that I enjoy pushing her buttons whenever I can. I don't let a snob like her take me down.
Jane: I am usually a calm and collected person. I have to be when dealing with the rich and not-so-famous every day. But Ryan is just too infuriating for his own good. I swear he goes out of his way to get my backup. If only I could wipe that smirk off his pretty face. Did I say pretty? Forget I ever said that.
Ride with Me can be read as part of the series or as a stand-alone novella. It is a book for mature audiences and readers should pay attention to the trigger warnings.
Author Dani Elias loves writing about British working-class hotties and the women who are their happily-ever-after. Her stories are short, sweet & steamy.
She lives in the South of England and has a great passion for travel, something that does appear in her books as well.

A short and steamy enemies to lovers novella with some heavy spice! Ryan and Jane have neighboring businesses, but Jane hates seeing his bike outside as it doesn’t match the look of the area. Or at least that’s what she thinks. Really it’s just others’ opinions formulating her own. And with their business leaving due to this, her business is in danger of sinking. Unfortunately, her actions lead to Ryan’s being threatened to shut down. Now it’s time to find a way to save them both. But with love, instead of animosity, these two find a way!
Thank you to the author and Happily Booked PR for the copy!
Another cracking instalment to the Fellside Mountain Rescue series. This is angsty, happy, sad, very funny and sizzling hot! 🥵 A short and sweet story, from love-hate to forever love. If you know, you know. Why wait? I’ve loved getting to know all these characters, and I’ll surely read this series again. Loved it! 🥰
Wonderful short and steamy enemies to lovers romance! Ryan and Jane live in a small town and he likes to push her buttons when he can. Enjoyed reading this opposites attract where he falls first! A must read!
I knew it would be good because it's Ms. Elias, but lady, as always, you suck us in and make us laugh, cry, swoon, all the feels. Thank you for sharing Ry and Princess with us. I am so sad to see this series end.
You know I love me some Fellside and motorcycles and tattoos. This book has it all and then some. This book will knock readers socks off. This series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Short novella love stories that will make readers fall in love with all the people and the town. Ryan is a member of the FMR. He also owns a tattoo shop. It has been his dream for a while and he finally made it come true. There is a thorn in his side. That thorn's name is Jane. She is the older sister of Phil, another FMR team member. Jane owns a tack shop and has always tried to color inside the lines. She plays nice and does everything she is supposed to. Jane's patrons want Ryan's shop out and Jane seems to be spearheading it though she doesn't really know why. She doesn't know why she gets into a foul mood whenever Ryan is around. Why she is ready to jump on the bandwagon to boot him out of town?
New Year's night blows everything up. Everything changed with that New Year's kiss at the end of the night. Both Ryan and Jane were with the FMR team. They were the only single ones there so, of course, they locked lips. The attraction was evident. How can Jane live up to her good girl persona if she dated the town bad boy? I really enjoyed this couple. They definitely had some good times together, if you know what I mean. On top of everything else, Jane is dealing with the possibility that her store may need to close. Jane's grandfather is not doing well and he has been Jane and Phil's rock. Who will be there for Jane if he is no longer there? As always, things work out. They may not work out how they wanted them to but they always work out.
I loved the fellside series. It was a bittersweet moment when I finished this final installment of the series ! I wasn’t ready for it to be over but this had to be my favorite book (novella technically). I couldn’t get enough of Ryan and Jane. They are definitely my favorite couple 😍
“Ride with Me”, by Dani Elias, is the 8th and final installment in the Fellside Mountain Rescue Series. It’s a novella, super quick read, and truly shows Dani Elias’s passion for mountain rescue volunteers. As a healthcare provider, this was close to my heart. ❤️ Dani did an excellent job with the books I’ve read thus far in this series.
Ride with me by Dani Elias is book 8 in the fellside mountain rescue series. This small town, enemies to lovers, he falls first romance. Telling the love story of Ryan and Jane. You can read them as standalones ,but they are interconnected so I recommend reading them all together from the start.
This series! I will keep saying this but I really adore Dani and her books. They all have a special place in my heart forever. The first ever book I read by dani was read with me, once I read I was hooked and I fell in love with all the characters and their stories. I never wanted this series to end, but ended it did, as this is the final boo in the series. Saying I was super sad was an understatement. I was a freaking mess, the tears where running. Their world became my world, their lifes became mine, I shared so much laughter, tears and sorrow with them all. That they became my family. But they say all good things must come to an end. And I'm excited for the next journey in danis writing.
"Guess I was a very good boy this year, because Santa is making all my dreams come true."
Ryan and Jane's story was an incredible read and finish to the series, it definitely took me on a emotional rollercoaster ride for so many reasons. It's packed with so much action, love, laughter, banter, family ,spice , friendship and loads more. The characters are wonderful and it was so beautifully written. The storyline was amazing. I highly recommended!
Now let me tell you a little bit about Ryan and Jane.
Ryan is your mmc such a hunk, he loves his motorbike and volunteers at fmr, he also owns his own tattoo shop. Which is always been a dream of his. His life is really good ATM. But there's a bombshell in the business next door that has caught his attention and he can't help but press her buttons. Jane owns her own business , she's super sweet and sticks to the rules. But a sexy ass man in the business next door has her knickers in a twist , she wants him out but don't know why. There banter is funny. But one kiss changes everything. But will everything be plain sailing? You know what they say there's a thin line between love and hate !
Dani hats of to you sunshine, you never fail to amaze me, you have done an amazing job with this series.
I am so sad to see the Fellside series come to an end! It has been so much fun watching these FMC members find their loves in life as well as their own footing in some ways that I am really going to miss seeing all of the camaraderie and friendship between them. This final book follows Ryan, FMC member and tattoo artist with his shop in town that seems to be causing quite a bit of uproar for this prim and proper area, and Jane, owner of the shop next to Ryan’s and Phil’s older sister. Jane has never seen eye to eye with Ryan which has caused quite a bit of tension between the two of them. But is this tension from their dislike of each other or is there more brewing underneath the surface that neither have been able to accept quite yet? This book really hit me in the feels, especially the moments between Jane and her Grampy. Jane was someone who was beyond relatable to me since she has always done what others have wanted just to keep the peace and keep up appearances. It is so easy to lose sight of not only yourself but all of your hopes and desires and dreams when you are like that and it was really fun to watch Jane come into her own (despite being much older), especially on the advice she received from Grampy. I think without that advice, this story would have been extremely boring and may not have had the HEA that it deserved- Grampy really pushed these two together and it was all for the better! You really see just how much Ryan adores Jane, especially the more time that he spends with her when they aren’t fighting- but there are moments when you know they are both still who they are and those are the best moments in the book- some of the best chemistry by far between all of these characters in this world. Sad to see this series end but can’t wait to see what comes next!
We’re back on Fellside Mountain Rescue with the 8th and last book in this amazing series! 🥹
I’m starting this by saying how dare you make me cry so hard towards the end ma’am? This book was such a bittersweet moment because now I won’t be able to get to know more amazing characters and see the beautiful little village they’re from! 😭
This was such a cute enemies to lovers story, and it was one that I was highly anticipating and oh boy, did it delivered! 💙
We’re following Ryan, one of the new members in their little rescue team in Fellside and the new tattoo shop owner in front of Jane’s little shop. We follow how they bicker around each other for the littlest things, but at the end y’all know how that goes and they got to resolve their differences, pretty sweetly if you ask me 😂💙
Tropes: -enemies to lovers -he falls first -small town -dual pov -last book in the series -novella
Like I said in my previous reviews you can totally read them as standalones but I highly recommend reading them all so you can enjoy the crew and their stories, and what better than these being novellas?!
Ratings: 4/5 ⭐️ 2/5 🌶️
Thank you so much Dani, for letting me be part of this amazing journey and meeting your characters, like them I fell in love with Fellside Mountain! 🫶🏻
This is a really fun, short, sweet and spicy read! This is the eight and last novella in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series. It can be read as a stand alone.
Jane owns an equestrian shop that is right next door to Ryan's tattoo shop and her high end clientele doesn't really like that. Her clientele continues to complain about this and Jane is caught in the middle of them trying to get Ryan out of the location. Ryan and Jane are constantly butting heads because the clients keep filing complaint that are absolutely unnecessary. Ryan is best friends with Jane's brother and they both get invited to the same new year's festivities and something happens between them while they are playing truth or dare and it changes the path of their relationship.
Tropes: Small town dual POV enemies to lovers brother's best friend he falls first
I really enjoyed Jane and Ryan and as always, Dani Elias truly packs a punch in her novellas and makes me fall in love with her characters.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5! This is absolutely perfect if you're looking for something short and sweet that is a lot of fun to read.
Thank you to Happily Booked and Dani Elias for the e-ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you so much for the Opertunity to read this book 🖤
It's taken me far too long to write this, and that's just because I have so many feelings (all positive) that it's hard to convey in a review.
This is by far the most special of the Fellside and while I love all of them, this one takes the spotted dick.
The idea for this one came completely on a whim very early in the morning conversation while looking at a book cover. What was thought to be a very odd pattern of body hair turned into a light tattoo. This brilliant author turned funny morning chatter into the lovely Ryan.
I’ve said this before but I will say it 200 times more if necessary. Dani has a way of writing a beautiful and full novel within the pages of a novella. Ride With Me is an enemies to lovers, and if you’ve read novellas you know it’s extremely hard to pull that off in a short amount of time, but it’s perfection. You feel their hatred, you feel the shift and you welcome it.
Truly I couldn’t imagine a better ending for the last in the Fellside Mountain series, I may have been a bit choked up. I’m so excited to read what’s next for Dani Elias, and I highly recommend you follow along too.
Ryan has just opened his tattoo shop in the small village of Fellside. He's also a part of the Fellside Mountain Rescue team. Things would be going great for him if it wasn't for Jane, who runs the tack business next door to his tattoo shop. Jane has to deal with her rich, snobby customers every day. Not to mention her and Ryan get along as well as oil and water. Can they stop their bickering long enough to realize that they actually might be right for each other?
Ride With Me is the last book in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series, but it can be read as a standalone. It's an enemies to lovers novella that's sweet with a bit of spice. Jane and Ryan are neighboring business owners who are at odds because they think they are complete opposites, but when they take the time to actually sit and talk it turns out they actually have more in common than they thought. Ryan is just the guy Jane needs to bring her out of her shell and show her how to be bold. He also knows all the right things to say and do when she needs someone to just be there for her. I really enjoyed their story and can't wait to go back and read the first 6 books of this series.
This is the eighth book in the Fellside Mountain Rescue (FMR) Series, but it's the first one I've read, and that didn't affect the storyline in any way. This book follows Ryan and Jane.
At first, I felt Jane was a bit snobby and had a ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude but quickly came to understand why she acts the way she does. I instantly liked Ryan, he has that protective energy about him without being overbearing, dominating, or controlling.
As this was a novella, Ryan and Jane went from enemies to lovers nice & fast, which is a fantastic change from my usual slow burns. I also really enjoyed that Ryan and Jane were slightly older, again I’m so used to reading about people in their 20s with their whole lives ahead of them (well, at least the FMC) and it was great to see both FMC and MMC slightly older than the average FMC.
I thought this was a sweet story, I do love a small-town romance! It was a super easy, quick & enjoyable read and I would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting a palate cleanser between larger stories.
I am off to read the first 7 stories of the FMR series!
I recently read "Ride With Me" by Dani Elias, and I must say, it's an amazing novella. The story follows Ryan, a motorbike lover, and tattoo artist, and Jane, the owner of a shop next door. Ryan and Jane can't stand each other, and their constant bickering makes it hard to work in the village of Fellside.
The author's writing style is brilliant, and the banter between Ryan and Jane is fantastic. I enjoyed the storyline and the playful back and forth between Jane and Ryan, even when it's clear they're trying to get on each other's nerves.
What I appreciate most about the book is the underlying theme of supporting the mountain rescue and how the author emphasizes it throughout the story. It makes the read more meaningful and adds depth to the story.
Overall, "Ride With Me" is a fantastic enemies to lovers novella that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. The writing is impeccable, and the author's passion for supporting the mountain rescue organization comes through in the story. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and engaging romance read. I give it five stars!

✅ Enemies to Lovers ✅ He Falls First ✅ Small Town ✅ Dual POV ✅ Brother’s Friend ✅ MC’s in their 40’s
TW: Death of a family member.
Jane and Ryan have been at each others’ throats for a while now. Jane owns an equestrian tack shop that’s right next to Ryan’s tattoo shop. The local WI chapter is dead-set on getting Ryan out and Jane has been playing along. Sending complaints and fighting Ryan constantly. When the two go to a New Year’s celebration at their mutual friends’ cottage, a game of truth or dare starts to change their perception of each other. 𝘋𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺?
I loved this novella so much! It was a great addition to the FMR series! Jane and Ryan’s relationship is so sweet! Jane and her need to be perfect for everyone, is so relatable. Ryan is so kind but also assertive, it’s the perfect mix! Thank you, Dani Elias and Happily Booked PR, for an ARC of this book! My review is mine and freely given!
Ride with Me is the last “standalone” book in the Fellside Mountain Rescue Series. Do you need to read the other books to understand what is going on in this book? No, but some of the other characters do show up from time to time.
This time we meet Ryan and Jane. Ryan is a local tattoo artist, and “bad boy” motorcycle rider who can’t stand up tight b*tches. Jane owns a small business beside Ryan, who she can’t put up with. I loved, I cried, honestly it was a perfectly sweet book.
This is a great quick read, happily ever after, spicy romance and small town vibes. The woman’s group in town is using Jane to help them get Ryan out of town, since tattoos are bad in the eyes of the proper small town ladies (some of them). The book kind of gives off Gilmore Girl vibes in the sense that everyone knows everyone and their business, and more spicy haha. Jane and her brother suffer through losing a grandparent, this one hit close to home for me. I could feel the emotions that they were going through and the grief that comes over you. Trying to get back to normal.
Ryan is tatted up, strikingly handsome, and ride his Ducati everywhere. From the way he is described I would sat he is a tall and sexy cup of yes please! Jane owns the shop next door and is the sister of one of Ryan's coworkers. This doesn't stop Jane from caving due to pressure about the tattoo shop in a small town and the designated motor cycle parking space that sits in front of her shop. Jane's customers have complained and Jane because ruthless with Ryan.
Ryan is very confused by this but what really has him taken aback is how he is weirdly attracted to Jane. On New Years Eve he has this lapse of judgement where he randomly kisses Jane. From that moment on things are different. Not in a good way at first but Ryan is starting to work his way into Jane's heart and vice versa. Life, of course, decides to start throwing curve balls and Ryan and Jane have to see if they can handle the pressure and the change of feelings they are having.
I liked the banter between Ryan and Jane and I really liked seeing how being around Ryan really brought Jane out of her shell.
Firstly thank you @dani_elias_books and @happilybookedpr for the ARC of this book.
The book is the last one in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series and can be read as a stand alone.
Ryan is a tattoo artist and owns a studio along with working in the FMR. Jane runs a shop owner next door and a sister to a fellow FMR teammate. Working next door, they don't have any good relationships and think they are polar opposite and have loads of issues with each other until they both sit down to discuss their issues. That's when they realize they are more similar than they noticed and the things process for good from then...
Honestly I didn't enjoy this book as much as I anticipated it. I have read another one from this series which I liked more than this....
But it's a cute and short novella you can pick whenever you're in the mood to get a quick read...
Also Jane's Gramps is a charmer which I'm sure you will enjoy as much as I did...
"Ride with Me" marks the bittersweet conclusion to the Fellside series, and I must say, it left me feeling a mix of emotions. The heartfelt moments between Jane and her Grampy resonated deeply with me, as Jane's journey of self-discovery mirrored many relatable struggles. Watching her break free from societal expectations and embrace her true self, guided by her wise Grampy, was truly uplifting. Without his sage advice, this story may have lacked the satisfying happily ever after it deserved. Ryan's unwavering adoration for Jane shines through, especially in the moments of respite from their heated exchanges. Their chemistry leaps off the pages, showcasing some of the most compelling dynamics in the Fellside series. This enemies-to-lovers tale is a delightful blend of sweetness and spice, perfect for those craving a quick yet fulfilling read. One of the highlights for me was the banter and tension woven throughout the story. It kept me engaged from start to finish, making it difficult to put the book down. Despite my reluctance to say goodbye to the Fellside series, "Ride with Me" provided a satisfying conclusion that left me with a sense of contentment. Additionally, I appreciated the mature age of both Jane and Ryan, offering a refreshing departure from the typical young protagonists found in romance novels. Ryan's protective yet respectful demeanour instantly endeared him to me, adding depth to their evolving relationship. In essence, "Ride with Me" is a must-read for fans of enemies-to-lovers romance seeking a short and sweet escape into the world of Fellside. With its perfect balance of heartwarming moments and sizzling chemistry, it's a journey worth embarking on.
Enemies to Lovers ∘ Small Town ∘ He Falls First ∘ Duel POV ∘ Last Book in Series ∘
I love this series! I adore that it’s U.K. small town romance, that I’ve been to the village (Fellside) and a lot of the places it mentions - my husband and I have roamed the Lake District so many times, in fact we were at Rydal Water last week!
This is a series that’s like coming back to old friends whenever a new instalment comes out. We see all the couples from previous books and many hints for new characters we might get to meet (I know this is the last in the series but a girl can hope right?!)
Jane and Ryan do NOT get along. She is a prim and proper lady, with a tack or horseriding gear shop and he is a tattoo artist starting a new(ish) business in Fellside. Jane hates that his shop and motorcycle ruin the aesthetic of the village and her shop, which is right next to his and he hates that she keeps complaining about him. Both of them seem to get under each other’s skin in a way you KNOW means there’s some *tension* there!!
I loved these two sniping at each other, their bickering was fabulous! The eventual breaking down of walls, the amazing tattooing scene (you HAVE to read this book just for this one!!) was everything I never knew I needed!! this book DELIVERS on the classic hate to love, with delicious build up and some fantastic smexy times thrown in!
Do yourself a favour and read this amazing book now!!
I was given this book as an arc in return for an honest review. As always my only complaint with Dani’s books is they aren’t longer! I need more of these wonderful smile inducing stories. This one follows Ryan and Jane. Who at first, seem to seriously dislike each other. Jane’s customers don’t like that Ryan and his tattoo shop and motorbike have invaded the store next door and there is serious rivalry between them. Soon the nickname of ‘Princess’ that Ryan gives Jane turns from one of irritation to one of lust. The way Dani unfurls the relationships in her stories always shocks me as I never know what to expect. I do love that the other characters that we meet in other stories, you still get to keep up with them and hear of them in each new book. But as always I was left with a smile on my face, feeling giddy and so much calmer from reading her writing. Knocked it out the park as always.
I was given a copy of this ARC for an honest review.
What to expect:
🏍️ Enemies to Lovers
🏍️ He Falls First
🏍️ Small Town
🏍️ Dual POV
🏍️ Novella
Being from the north of England I loved the warning section "our ass has an extra rrrrrs to it" and it made me intrigued straight away!
I really enjoyed this novella and although it is quite a short read it packs a lot in. I wasn't prepared for the emotions in the last third of the story and yes I did cry! I thought it was well written and really enjoyed the references to well known areas around the lakes. My only criticism would be that I felt the relationship status was very rushed, I know the story needed to move along due to the length but I felt it went from 0 to 100 with no in-between over the space of a couple of pages. Saying that I am hooked on the story and totally invested in the characters and now need to go back amd read the rest of the series!
Short, steamy, and later-in-life characters. Hmmm. No wonder I love the Fellside Mountain Rescue Series — all those adjectives can be used to describe me! Both of the characters are in their early 40’s and living life on their terms. The banter of these two business neighbors is entirely satisfying in every way. I love how Jane is playing by the rules to start, but once she actually starts speaking to Ryan, the blinders come off and we see her perspective shift. He ignites a fire in her that needed to be released. And trust me, you’ll want to read right through the entire book to see it flicker into an inferno!
This is my second book that I’ve read of the series, but it’s a breath of fresh air at how easily we can connect to everyone, including the side characters. We get right to the heart of the story without all the fluff. You can’t help but feel satisfied and happy with Ryan and Jane.
Ride with Me is a super short and sweet novella. This is a part of the Fellside Mountain Rescue series and can be read as a standalone. It's a short and sweet enemies to lovers romance. I loved how they were both older, in their 40s. But Jane got on my nerves sometimes, she didn't truly know why she hated Ryan and it irritated me. Especially because Ryan isn't going out of his way to do anything to her to deserve her treatment. He's just a tattoo artist, whose a nice guy.
But I did LOL at some of Jane's comments because she's 40 and saying "Holy Moly" after having the "boinking" (iykyk) of her life. 🤣
Ryan is over here like ⬇️ “My dick can’t wait to come out and play, sweetheart, but not here. First I’m going to make you come in my mouth on my workbench, so every time I look at it I’m reminded of you screaming my name. Then I’ll take you upstairs and you can ride my cock.”
First of all, I have so many good thoughts on this book. I really enjoyed it. It is a short, steamy, funny read (with some make your heart really sad thrown in). I've come to discover it is very hard for a book to pull off enemies to lovers in a novella length span. Ride with Me absolutely does it though. You feel the tension and the chemistry immediately between these two and it is no surprise when things heat up 🥵. One of my favorite things about this book was that the main characters, Ryan and Jane, are real adults 😂. As someone who is, let's just say not in their 20s anymore, it is wonderful to read characters who are fantastic and full of life and also around my age. I loved the bonus chapter at the end of the book, giving even more of a glimpse into the future. I could easily read so much more.
Ryan, a tattoo artist, sets up his shop next to Jane’s clothing shop. They immediately push each other buttons until they realize they have more in common than they thought!
💜
Thank you Dani Elias and Happily Booked PR for the opportunity for the eARC.
I am back in Fellside with Ryan and Jane’s story. And I found this novella to be my favorite one thus far! I absolutely loved these two characters, you can feel the chemistry right off the page! 🔥🔥
I enjoyed reading Jane’s journey to finding happiness, I felt I related to her in many ways. It was refreshing to also see characters a little bit older and have lived a life! I feel like we almost need a prequel on these two! Please @dani_elias_author!
And the love we all felt for Grampy! 🥺
Tropes: 💜 Enemies to Lovers 💜Small Town Romance 💜Brother’s friend 💜 He falls first 💜Novella
Ride with Me is book 8 in the Fellside Mountain Rescue series. It's a short and steamy, OTT, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her hunky biker romance. Jane is a 42 year old owner of the local riding and tack shop. She is the sister of Phil in the FMR. Ryan is the hunky, tattooed, dirty-talking, and the newest member of the FMR. He is in his 40s and s local tattoo shop owner. His shop is next to Jane's, and the two have been butting heads for months. But the line between love and hate is thin. These two finally chat, and their relationship starts to get hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y!!! These two had enough chemistry to burn down a mountain. I loved the snarky banter, and we got a very happy ending. I am so sad this series is over and totally had to add this dirty-talking bad boy to my book boyfriend list. 🔥🥵😍
I received a copy of this book from the offer and am providing this review.
