When the past won’t let go…

It’s a story that’s been told a thousand times.
Guy falls for girl. Guy breaks it off with girl. Years later, he wants her back.

It seems like total nonsense until you’re the guy in the story, and the woman you broke it off with still owns your heart.

The club was my life.
I lived it.
Breathed it.
It was who I was meant to be.
There was no question about it.

Londyn was young with the world at her fingertips.
She could be anything.
Do anything.
She deserved a chance to find her way, even if it meant finding it without me.

I gave her that.
I let her go.
I thought that was the end.

I was wrong.
I was wrong about a lot of things.

Now, she’s back, and I’m determined to claim the woman that was always meant to be mine…

Young love caught in the crossfire of misguided intentions lead the way in L. Wilder's next Satan's Fury Next Generation installment Savage for a ride full of surprises!

When Malcomb aka Savage breaks up with his childhood sweetheart Londyn out of nowhere nothing is clean about their separation as seemingly endless questions and unresolved feelings leave them both in a state of limbo. It is not until five years later and a lot of growing up when the two are reunited that Malcomb and Londyn realize how unnecessary their broken hearts were and how much they missed out on.

This story was filled with misinformation, poor advice and bad decision-making causing a monumental amount of anguish and suffering. Malcomb and Londyn's coming to terms with the results of their past actions was as heartbreaking as it was touching and inspiring. The ability demonstrated by this couple to move on from their earlier actions and make the life they both always dreamed of with each other proved that they were meant to be together. This author showed how maturity could make all the difference in sensitive situations as she navigated Malcomb and Londyn sorting through a lot of hurt feelings and putting together all the pieces that resulted in their estrangement. This was not a case of first love but forever love and Ms. Wilder knocked it out of the park!

L. Wilder stories never feel old, from her first book to her most current, she always finds a fresh and unique perspective with each of her portrayals. Her characters are interesting and dynamic with lots of layers to peel back allowing her audience to make sense of the gray world they live in. The action and suspense component she includes in her stories is sophisticated and well plotted out. Savage's story was as fierce as his name and was one unforgettable ride that readers will love!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. *
*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone, but for an overall enhanced reading experience reading the previous books in this series is suggested.*

Savage was the fourth book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury MC Second Generation. The books are best read in order to follow the suspenseful MC plot that continues throughout the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed both Savage and Londyn. They were young and in love with thoughts of forever until parents and overthinking got in the way. Fast forward five years and a second chance emerged, filled with secrets of course. I enjoyed the development with the new opportunity not being filled with petty drama but Wilder got straight to the point. I also enjoyed the suspenseful MC storyline that continued to progress throughout the series. I prefer more detail and depth into the resolutions within the conflict vs an implied within “it was taken care of” but it was still enjoyable. And of course a new twist was introduced near the end that I can’t wait to see what happens next. All in all, another great addition ti the series.

Savage and Londyn’s journey to their forever was full of obstacles. Savage thought he was doing the right thing letting her go. But their love withstood time. Savage also had to prove his worth in his father’s MC. And he did with flying colors. I loved how this couple overcame their hurdles and found their HEA. Londyn proves to be a strong, courageous woman to the man she loves. Savage loves her with all his heart and soul. Loved this book and can’t wait for Rooster!

I love this series but….

Okay…let me tell you….I LOVE all of the Fury books. All of the Fury couples….all are worth the read! But I have some comments and they are way down below:

Spoiler below:

This couple irritated me because they didn’t do enough for Dalton.
I was sad that the connection with Dalton was not explored. I felt that whole area was rushed through. I wanted someone to confront her dad. I wanted Cass to ask her friend why she kept her grandson from her. I wanted to hear Dalton call Savage “Daddy”. I wanted Savage to stop and love on that child everytime he walked out the door but he didn’t. I was very sad that Dalton was a side note. Even the relationship with Cass and Cotton was not really shown with Dalton. This book could have been so much better if the priority for Savage would have been to love on his son instead of constantly wanting to be with Londyn. It made me really angry. We did not even see his sisters meet their nephew. Epic fail for Dalton! But the rest of the book was really good. But I just can’t get past the fact that we never heard that baby call him Daddy. Very under developed.

I’m in love with this new generation of Satan’s Fury. Things are changing in the club.
Savage found the love of his life but let her go. In previous books I wasn’t sure I liked him very much but he proved me wrong in this story.

“You never have to be nervous with me, Twinkles. It’s you and me against the world, remember?”

Londyn was heartbroken but never stopped loving Malcolm.

“There are two kinds of love, Londyn. The one that burns bright and can warm you inside and out. It’s beautiful, wild, and free, but it burns hot and fast, and then it’s gone. Then there is the one that’s like a river. It changes and flows, twists and turns, but it is steady and strong. It meanders, but it always finds its way home.”

The club is still dealing with some heavy stuff that affects everyone. Loved every minute of this story and can’t wait for more.

Disappointing as normally really like these books and author

This was a really disappointing read. I was surprised because I really like all the other books I have read in this series and by this author.

The male character - Savage/Malcolm was selfish and hurtful and sexist and the FMC, London who I wanted to like just came off weak. Savage treated London terribly and she just took him back without him having to work for it at all. Also all the blame was put on her dad, who was crap admittedly, but Savage is the one that broke up with her and its his fault he missed out on all those years. He definitely had no right to be mad at her and he should have been sucking up to her big time. He doesn’t seem to really take responsibility for his actions.

Also the way he broke up with her was just cruel with Candace involved. And no way would London have been cool with Candace after that. Agree with other reviewer that it was disappointing he was angry at the thought of her having other men but it didn’t stop him even when breaking up with her.

Was hard to like and respect London, as she was very weak and a bit pathetic with Savage and even Candace. She just let him straight back in, didn’t hold him responsible and even started blaming herself.

Liked being back with all the Savage MC characters again but the characters were disappointing and the storyline wasn’t that strong either.

Disappointed

I was looking forward to this book. I was over half way through when the story finally took off. It had dragged on so much that I was about to put the book down. And when it finally took off, the story was rushed. I have enjoyed all the other books by L. Wilder. This just was not the quality I am used to from this author.

Savage is the 4th book in L. Wilder's Satan's Fury MC: SG series. This one was a secret child second chance romance. I've loved the Satan's Fury MC series since the beginning and the second-gen series hasn't disappointed at all.
Five years ago, Savage and Londyn were high school sweethearts. Both headed down different paths in life but determined to be together. Him to the MC to be his father's successor as president and her to college to become a lawyer. Unfortunately, not everyone always gets what they want especially when Londyn's dad puts it in Savage's head that he if loved her he would let her go so she would accept a scholarship she received. Because of his stubbornness and refusal to read the letters she sent, or answer her calls, or even see her when she stopped by he missed out on a huge part of his life and his sons and I was very disappointed in how he handled things and even 5 years later can barely make himself face what he did. When he finally does he realizes he only has himself to blame cause he messed up badly. Can Savage make up for what he did? Can he finally be a man and step up like he needs to and keep her and their son safe at the same time?
I gave this one a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. I really liked reading about the up-and-down rollercoaster of Londyn and Savage's relationship. Londyn is a sweet, strong woman I feel is very relatable who didn't deserve what happened to her by Savage or her dad leaving her heartbroken and her dreams taken from her. But like they say sometimes you have to let it go to know if it was truly meant to be and maybe it just wasn't their time yet. I can't wait to see who's book is next!

Savage is the fourth book in the Satan’s Fury MC Second Generation. This is Malcom and Londyn’s story, told in dual POV.

Savage is Cotton’s son all grown up. The club is his family.
Londyn didn’t grow up in the club and was the quiet one in school but she caught Malcom’s eye in high school and they fell so deeply in love.

When Malcomb is confronted with a heavy decision, he does what he thinks is the right choice even though it killed him inside. Londyn being devastated leaves town and tries to move on, something she has failed at miserably.

When they come face to face again years later, there are secrets revealed and a love that never ended. I liked that neither fought their feelings for each other, they knew they loved each other, so why fight that. Not every second chance needs to grovel and make things difficult. They had already lost so much time and experiences together, why waste anymore when their hearts are truly entwined.

The little character we’re introduced to in this book is just precious and has a lot of new people and changes that come into their life in a short amount of time. I can appreciate the way it was written as to not overwhelm them with every thing that is so new to them.

The ending had me sitting up in bed going “ooohh boy” things are changing fast for the club and fixing to get rowdy for the boys of the Fury!

Savage & Londyn were once everything to each other until he broke her heart, and honestly, his as well. It's been five years since he last saw her which was deliberate on her part so it's been that long since she was home as well. This book starts off by her having to come home for a wedding of one of her friends, so now she's going to have to face that past, and trust me, it's very complicated that's for sure. Savage wasn't excited about her being home since he still has the same mindset he had in the past (I'm purposely being vague because it's complicated LOL), but from the moment he laid eyes on her again, he knew that he couldn't lose her again. The sparks were flying like they had never been apart, so it was only a matter of time before they ignited all over again. On top of the rocky second chance journey going on, there are things happening with the MC that bring danger to the table with the twists coming in hot kicker, and I still have quite a few questions about all of that so the next book cannot come out quickly enough! I can't state this for the record enough, you cannot go wrong with L. Wilder's MC stories so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Savage is book four in the Satan's Fury Second Generation series. This book was entertaining and easy to read, with a splash of angst, suspense and action. The story flowed well with some sweet, scary, steamy, happy, and violent moments.

Savage seemed really hard on himself. He's honorable, but sometimes I felt he made dumb choices, his dad described him perfectly....Stubborn. He's also very possessive, protective, loyal, and caring. Londyn was hard working, responsible, and humble. I thought she forgave Savage a little too quick, but life's short so I guess I understand.

Such a big game changer in ranks within the club. It's been a long time coming but kind of makes me sad. This also ended with a plot twist that left so many unanswered questions! The reason I gave this book four stars is because I was really bothered by the lack of interaction between Savage and Dalton. Sometimes I felt he treated him as a friend...like no hugs goodbye, no affection, etc. Obviously at the beginning he had to tread lightly, but we never see their relationship grow and I felt that it was kind of important. Overall, this was an enjoyable book with a hot cover 😉.

Savage and Londyn
2 young people who thought they had forever, until the young girls father asks him to let her go, to go on and be the person she deserves. Not the “ old lady” of a biker
This is Savages story
Son of Fury’s President and expected heir.
It’s been 5 years since these two last saw each other and a-lot has happened.
More so for Londyn than Savage
Londyn has returned to attend a wedding that Savage and his family will also be at. But Londyn has a secret. She has carried on loving this man for 5 years , more so since sending her away unbeknownst to both of them , carrying Savages Child.
How does she tell him?
Savage is let down by his father and does not receive the Presidents Patch, your not ready his dad tells him. Feeling let down and rejected he is once thrown again by the returning Londyn and the shock news she has kept from him
Once again we have our continuing Fury Story and the betrayal that Londyn feels when she finds out what her father did.
Great story . I usually avoid “ next generation “ series of Series that I have read of Parents. Buttttt I am really enjoying this one, esport my former heroes and heroines aging ❤️

I don’t even know where to start with what I loved about this book.

I will start with Rooster and I want him. At the start of the book I wanted give him a hug and a cookie.

Malcomb and Londyn have a relationship that could have stood the test of time. Sadly, there were many forces that stood in their way in their younger years. Circumstance and fate came into play and put them in the same place at the same time. Fireworks were there to follow, both emotional and the spicy kind.

I was so happy to see Cotton and Cass again but in the parental role and how they haven’t changed really in the years that followed their story.

Secret baby, single parent and MC are my top reads. Throw in an Alpha MMC who is soft sweet and squishy for his lady love and it’s a recipe for a great time in my opinion. I started this book at 6pm Sunday, and may or may not finished it at 2:30am Monday morning. I am dragging a little more than normal.

Lack of sleep and book hang over 100% worth it!!

10/10 recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Outstanding 2nd chance, MC Read. It’s well written and held my heart in its hands from start to finish. All the main players in the Satan’s Fury Clubhouse were present and added to my enjoyment. Savage has only loved one girl his whole life, Londyn. Convinced he wasn’t good enough for her, after all he was just a biker whose club was his life and she was a young woman headed to college with her whole life ahead of her, Savage broke things off - breaking both their hearts as well. Everyday he asked himself was it a mistake and everyday she asked herself why. Years went by and it’s now 5 years later. Londyn is back in town for their friend's wedding. They are both different yet one look and they know the feelings are still there. But with everything that has happened and all the changes in their lives is a 2nd chance possible?

Is their love like a river that twists and turns but is strong and always it way home or is it one that burns bright - wild and free - eventually burning itself out? Grab this one up to find out - you won’t be sorry you did so.

2 Thumbs Up and 5+ Stars

"Do you think we'll be able to put these past five years behind us?"
"We have to because I'm not losing you again."

MC + second chance romance is definitely a fav of mine.
And....
While I did enjoy this story unfortunately some parts frustrated me a little and / or I found some parts a little lacking.
For example... This is a second chance romance story however I felt the reconnection happened way too quickly. They may not have been entirely to blame for their 5 year separation but Savage was largely to blame and Londyn pretty much leapt straight into his arms.
I mean... girl make the man sweat a bit!!
Honestly, I just felt more relationship development was needed between a number of characters.
It felt a bit slow at the start and then it was a little like bam all happy families.
Although, I mention these things I did enjoy many parts to this story. It had plenty of swoon, a little steam, some great brotherhood banter and of course some MC drama.
I'm enjoying this Second Generation and can't wait for Book 5!

is Satan's Fury MC SG Book #4 with Savage aka Malcomb and Londyn story and let me tell you this book did not disappoint us readers at all. Malcomb made a huge mistake listening to Londyns father by pushing her to take a scholarship for college and out of his life ,but when she comes back for a wedding it's Malcomb who is in shock with a secret hidden from him,but will love conquer all? This book is absolutely fantastic and compelling and captivating with a story that will have your heart pounding out of your chest. There is also several switches in command in the Satan's Fury MC ,but will that put them in danger? I'm loving these second Generation MC men who have grown up and now starting to take charge. We also get to see some of our favorites in this book. Leslie Wilder truly is an amazing writer and brings these stories to life as though you are there right along with them. Congratulations on another fantastic Story.

2nd Chance Love Story #MC #secretbaby

L. Wilder knows how to write an MC love story which she has shown to be true “again” with Savage:Satan’s Fury MC-SG( Satan’s Fury MC Second Generation Book 4). Two teenage lovers are torn asunder by a dad’s bad advice and a man’s stubbornness. L. Wilder sends them on one wild ride bringing them back together despite each feeling soul rendering pain with heartbreak seeping from their very beings. Savage/Malcom out that four-year old Dalton is his son causes so many emotions to to erupt, not the least being anger. Londyn is still broken inside since Malcom sent her away heartbroken and she no armor to protect her heart when Savage decides he wants her and his son for all time. L Wilder tells not just a good love story, one with a mystery and suspense from book to book! Accolades, to L Wilder for the book Savage. I am now ready to read her next book, and the next book and the next book …!

This was a cute story filled with secrets, lies, betrayals, and drama. Londyn and Savage have a past they were friends and lovers.

This is an emotional tale with a twist of fate and a chance of what could have been. The characters were great we loved the ribbing and teasing among the guys.

Big changes are happening around the club and there is quite a bit of drama happening along with secrets surfacing keeping you glued to the pages.

We liked Londyn and Savage as a couple they had great chemistry and the love was there but, they both need to forgive one another for the mistakes they made.

A nice addition to the series the original members are stepping back making way for the new generation things are heating up and it is time to see what is in store for them and how they handle what is about to come their way. We are looking forward to seeing what happens next. We enjoyed it!

What would you do for the girl you loved? Would you give her up so she has a chance at a better life, a life that you believe she deserves? Malcomb/Savage decided to do just that, and broke things off with Londyn so she would get to experience what life held instore for her. Savage let her go, and proceeded to break her heart in the process, something he will never forget but also something he knows was for the best, but was it? Now, five years later, Londyn is going to be in the same place as he is for the first time and Savage decides that he is going to take a chance at getting back his girl. Will he be too late, will she already belong to someone else?

This series just keeps on going, and never a dull moment! Giving us some really great drama, a tad bit of danger, some really nicely done naughty bits, and of course some awe moments; this story had me hooked from the first word till the very end. I give Savage and Londyn 5 stars.

Savage & London + Dalton

They were in love forever...or so she thought. Suddenly it was done. Over. No more. She went on to take her scholarship but this is not the end of the story.

Five years and he still couldn't forget her. How would he handle seeing her again? Neither of them was prepared. There was a big secret between them. How will he handle it when he learns the truth?

Secrets. Lies. Unforgotten love. Danger. Heat. And so much more. The next generation of club leaders have their hands full and even their hearts. Will they find a way back together? If so, will their enemies and others let them live to enjoy it?

I always love the author's stories and this is no exception. Read and enjoy Ms. Wilder's latest masterpiece.

Savage is a second chance romance and oh boy does he get the shock of his life when he bumps into his ex Londyn again… He hasn’t seen her since they split and she went off to colleg but he hasn’t lost his spark for her not at all… Londyn has to go back home for a wedding and really isn’t looking forward to bumping into him as over the years she has reached out only for him to ignore her… give him his dues when he does eventually grow a pair and reads her letters he does a full 180 and she doesn’t know what hits her… now he finally realised that not everything revolves around Fury which is kind of what her Dad was getting at all those years ago… He needs to keep his head in the A game as there is trouble brewing in the horizon and a possible game changer… I really did love their story . 2nd chance ones are one of my favs and this one didn’t disappoint…looking forward to the next one…

What a wild ride! Savage and Londyn were together as teenagers and were dreaming of forever until her father got involved and into Savage’s head, and he lets her go in order to let her follow her dreams. Unbeknownst to him, Londyn leaves their relationship with a surprise and because of that she stays away for five years, until she comes back to town for a wedding where she knows that she will see Savage. Keeping her distance, everything changes when Savage finds out Londyn’s secret and they navigate and work through the emotions and drama that goes along with that, as well as work through the unresolved feelings and getting to know each other as adults. While all of this goes on, we also have MC drama that adds to the storyline, and per usual I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next in the series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

What a ride with Savage and Londyn! The big bad biker gets his butt handed to him when Londyn goes back home to attend a wedding and she has something that Savage needs to know about. And it’s not that she hasn’t tried to tell him over the years because she most certainly has. Savage did what he thought was best to let her live the life she thought she deserved but never really bothered to think about what she truly wanted. That’s caused them to miss out on years of being together. Now that the mud has been cleared there’s club issues in the way but Savage and the Satan’s Fury won’t stop until it’s squashed. Bruton is an interesting character, I’m so very curious as to what his words meant at the end!

This is the 4th book in this incredible series, and this is Cotton’s son Savage and Londyn’s story. These two dated in high school and were in love, until they were torn apart by others. When Londyn is back in town for a wedding, Savage knows she is the missing piece in his life, and that they were destined to be soulmates.
This is a well written story which is action packed, with family, friendships, emotions, secrets, second chances, drama, romance, witty banter, humor, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner, which had me on tenterhooks throughout.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Savage and Londyn were young and in love, she has an offer for a scholarship and her father puts ideas in Savage' s head. So he breaks up with her thinking its best foe Londyn. Neither one of them had gotten over the other and don't know what will happen when they see each other.
Londyn has a secret but she thinks that Savage knows just doesn't want his son. Only he didn't read her letters. When they see each other and he finds out about his son he freaks that he didn't know. Londyn finds out how her father played a hand. Of course love wins out and they find their way back. As always though there is an enemy trying to break havoc.
The second generation is just as goid as the first with glimpses of the fathers still around.

Great storyline, hot chemistry, witty, suspenseful, and an epilogue that will make you want to throw your tablet or Kindle. Savage (Malcomb) and Londyn are everything and their journey to their happily ever after is filled with such heartbreak, but they realize that if you love each other, you can overcome all obstacles no matter what has happened in the past. The second generation is full of such surprises, and we get to see the first generation play a big part in the storyline! L. Wilder has left me hanging, and I will be impatiently waiting for the next book!  Another must read by L. Wilder.

I absolutely loved this story. Savage gave up Londyn five years ago to give her a better life but now fate has put them in each other’s paths again. This MC always gives me something extra and L. Wilder knows just what to write to keep me intrigued in turning the page until the very last one. I highly recommend this series, author, and story. These are characters that you find yourself wanting to root on and for them to find their HEA.

Giving up the most important person in your life is never easy. Savage did just that. He has been away from Londyn a long time and now he has a chance to set things right. Excellent writing and one he** of a ride. Great read.

When they were younger Malcomb (Savage) and Londyn were in love, then her father spoke to him and he broke things off with her so that she would go to college and follow her dream knowing that if they stayed together she wouldn't go. They were both heartbroken and he never told her the truth. Five years later and she comes back for her friend Skylar's wedding and a visit with her parents and she's not alone. I loved these two, I really want to say more but if I did it would spoil the story, it's definitely a page turner with a bit of action thrown in.
