In the Race, there are no friends. In the Race, there is no family.

Her whole life, Viola has trained not just to finish the Race but to win and gain a coveted spot in Ytopie, the city of fae. The Race, designed to give glory and sustenance to the Gods, is a pilgrimage many Lowlanders feel honored to complete. Harboring anger towards the fae and her parents for leaving her behind years ago, Viola is not one of them. She will stop at nothing to get the spot she deserves amongst the fae in Ytopie. Together with her (only) friend Max, the two embark on the perilous journey through Gallant Summit toward the luxurious fae city of Ytopie.

Within Ytopie, the fae live a comfortable life surrounded by Seasonale fae and their magic. Unbeknownst to Viola, overseers of the Race watch her every move and become increasingly concerned for Viola’s well-being. Zeph is no exception, finding himself inexplicably drawn into Viola's journey.

But everything is not as it seems in Ytopie, and everyone has their own agenda. When everyone wants a piece of you, how can you get out alive?

The Last Winter is the first installment in The Shadowweaver Trilogy, a fantasy romance journey through the land of Krillium. This book is intended for adults, with explicit sexual scenes and violence.

I thought I already rated and reviewed this book but apparently I didn't? But I found the review/pointers on my notes so here. I don't like giving 1 star because I know it is difficult for authors to get published but I really tried reading this one. Even tried to pass 31% of what I finished before but the further I get to the story the more I feel like it needed more improvement. The characters need to be develop more because their personalities felt the same for me. It also kind of reminded me Maggie Stiefvater's the Scorpio Races and I thought that book was one of the least interesting books she wrote. Even the tone of the story felt similar.

🌸 Received a copy from the author but all thoughts and opinions are my own

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SPICE: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

“𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑉𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑎 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑓𝑙𝑜𝑤. 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑚𝑦 𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟’𝑠 𝑑𝑎𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑟. 𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑛𝑜 𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑟 𝑎𝑓𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑑.”

I am the first to admit when I’m wrong. Which is why I try not to be. But well, we are here for the very fact that I 𝑤𝑎𝑠 wrong. After my initial read of this book I was a bit frustrated. 𝐹𝑟𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑 and 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑚𝑒𝑑. There was A LOT of world building going on. Really good world building. But it was heavy, and I didn’t give it enough time to sink in. You know how I realized I was wrong, I keep thinking about the book. About the characters. About what the future holds in the story. It’s all there, whispering in the back of my mind. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑠. Don’t be concerned, I like my demons.

But ya’ll it was so good. So complex. So intriguing. Did I mention the exquisite world building? And the depth of the characters? Miss ma’am, if you are reading this. 𝔓𝔥𝔢𝔫𝔬𝔪𝔢𝔫𝔞𝔩. 𝔉𝔞𝔫𝔱𝔞𝔰𝔱𝔦𝔠𝔞𝔩. Yes, I’m aware of what that word means, but it works, and I’m going with it. I’ll be honest, I’m not used to really 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 anything when I read aside from intrigue and enjoyment. But I went through so many emotions during this books and that’s what 𝔣𝔲𝔠𝔨𝔢𝔡 me up. I couldn’t process my own feelings, how could I process the book.

Anyways, it’s 𝔣𝔲𝔠𝔨𝔦𝔫𝔤 good. Read it.

It is unreal to me that this is this author’s first published novel. We are taken on a journey of desperation, hope, connection, and discovery.
Viola’s upbringing seems to help her succeed in The Race to Ytopie, a safe place for humans to live out the rest of their lives. When she finally and luckily gets to the fae, her life becomes even more complicated.
This is truly the best “what you see isn’t what you get” story I’ve read in awhile. Just when you think you have your heart set on what you think is happening, you’re slowly second guessing yourself. I really loved the characters and their personality, the dialogue felt natural, and the outcomes of situations were exciting!
The beginning felt a little long, but when the story picked up, I was hooked! I cannot wait for the next book! And without spoiling anything, I am hoping Tulip gets a happily ever after!

This book was more than what I expected when I first read the blurb and started reading it. Every time I thought I knew what was going on or who someone was I was pleasantly surprised to be mostly wrong. That doesn’t happen much. The plot was definitely interesting and the flow of the story goes well. The characters definitely have their own personalities and wants and needs that keep you thinking you know who they are but just wait. The twists that happen (yes I said twists not just a twist) you are like wait… okay now what?!? It left on a cliffhanger that leaves the story open to so much. I definitely will be keeping an eye out for the next book.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

To start off, please know I am not good at expressing my feelings in words. This book enraptured me and exceeded my expectations. This is Holly Monroe’s first published book and she has truly outdone herself.

That being said…

This book has several characters (main and side) that you will fall in love/hate with. I found myself constantly second guessing my feelings on one character in particular. The character building and backstories were phenomenal. I loved the banter and chemistry between each and every one of them.

Holly Monroe takes us on a journey through her writing and keeps us enthralled throughout the entire book. There are plot twists and turns that you’ll never expect and she keeps you on the edge of your seat, right up until the last paragraph! I am looking forward to the second book in this series to see what becomes of some of the characters.

4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

Where to begin, when you’ve read a book so EPIC, that you’re left stunned and speechless? So MUCH happened in this book, and it’s only book 1. It’s not even a lengthy book, this is about 400 pages (kindle) - and that’s not long for a fantasy book.

A very quick summary: Viola (FMC) has to participate in the yearly Race that is forced upon her people (mortals), to appease the gods. The winners of the Race are then sent to Ytopie, which seems like a sort of Utopia- a place to live out their lives with less hardship. Each year, there are 11 winners; 1 ultimate winner who gets to live a life in luxury, doted upon by the 10 other winners, who become the working-class citizens of Ytopie. The winners are not allowed to go back home after winning, and losers cannot visit either. The race is reminiscent of the Hunger Games, except the idea isn’t to kill everyone- you simply need to survive to get to the finish line. There are obstacles along the way, which are controlled by the Fae running the race.

Viola runs the Race with her best friend, Max, and a friend they pick up along the way. The Fae who run the race have “Seasonale” magic. Some Fae have Autumn magic, which can grow crops or can influence others; others have Summer magic, which can bring forth fire and cast spells of protection around themselves and others; Spring magic can temporarily raise the dead; and Winter magic, being extremely rare, controls shadows and can curse people. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list of their abilities, just a few examples.

Viola is a human and thus has no magic powers to survive the Race. She’s been training for the race daily, ever since she was a child. Her parents abandoned her during a Race, and supposedly, made it to Ytopie. She seems tired of living a difficult life on her own for the past 10 years, so she is determined to win the race and join her friends and family in Ytopie. In true fantasy fashion, it’s not just win the race and happily ever after. Of course, there’s a twist, or two or three…

Warning, there may be a few spoilers ahead. I’ll try to be vague!

I loved all of the tiny details that make up this book. It’s the subtle nuances of certain characters that end up building to a larger picture, or worse villain. We don’t see a TON of character development from Viola, although we do see her come into her true self. She’s not a dainty, quiet, woman. She’s feisty and takes what she wants. I love that about her, and she doesn’t make any bad decisions.

Mace (MMC), is of course a cinnamon roll, golden retriever, lovable dude… and handsome to boot- though I did dislike him in the beginning.

“The brightest star in the sky would brass in your presence.”

Zeph (MMC), we love and hate all at the same time. I loved his character ARC and might need to reread to go back and witness his descent into madness. I truly did not see it coming.

I loved that we have an adorable sidekick in this book- I love it when authors do this. Our little Shadow Snake is protective and a little bit of fun and whimsy.

Oh I almost forgot the best part! The magic system in this book is so different. It’s so incredibly well thought out and planned. You can tell that she has thought of every different facet of magic imaginable. I do not know how people dream up these ideas. Incredible!

There were many shocking moments in this book where I audibly gasped. I didn’t see those twists and turns coming.
The spice was nice. I’d say it’s probably a 2.5/5. Nicely written, no weird names for body parts, which I appreciate. Only one steamy scene in this book, which does add to the plot line.

The cliffhanger is pretty epic. It isn’t anything super surprising, but the story is assuredly just getting started when the book ends.

I love the multiple POV in this story. It’s totally necessary to see the different viewpoints so you can understand each character. You also get to know each character a little bit more intimately than you do in a single POV story.

There is some LGBTQ+ representation in this book and I really love it when stories include this. It’s not a large part of the story (thus far), just a small part, however, it’s noted.

My reason for not a 5-star rating: a little bit of info dumping in the beginning. I know this is totally necessary for the plot and to understand the Race, the magic, the fae, the gods, the lands, the lies, etc. The different magic and the Race were a little bit difficult to understand at first. Luckily, the author reiterates this a few times in this book, so it’s okay if you don't understand it at first because it will make sense when you continue further into the story. I also felt like I needed a bit more tension between our FMC and MMC. There was SOME, though it wasn’t a lot. This story didn’t exactly allow for it, though perhaps book 2 will do this!

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading my review. I received this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion, all thoughts are my own.

❄️The Last Winter is so much more than I anticipated it to be. This amazing writing completely captivated me and I could not stop turning pages. The magic element is incredibly unique and explained in beautiful detail as we progress through the story. The plot was incredibly intriguing and the pace is perfect. Just when you think you have an idea of what is going to happen, you are proven very very wrong.
🩵There are several fantastic characters that are masterfully developed with intriguing, personalities and intricate purposes for our journey. The multi POV added so much depth and emotion to the story. I was completely completely smitten by Viola, her fierce personality, sharp mind and drive to achieve what she wants and needs. She is steadfast in her beliefs and goals. Zeph is so intense and brings out a rollercoaster of emotions. I stand by my assertion of always choosing the villain and Mace is all that I could possibly want and more in my morally gray man. The slow burn intense and has the most magnificent build up.
❄️This story takes some crazy unexpected dark turns and the suspense filled me with quite a bit of angst. This adventurous romantic story is filled with deception, false prophecy, despair, found family, and sizzling hot romance. All of your emotions are thrown into a blender in the best way. I want more. Book 2 cannot come fast enough. I need to see how this journey continues and I feel like there is trouble on the way.

I would like to say thank you for the free digital copy from the publisher and also that I started off biased as I have known Holly for many years.

All that said, this book was brilliant. I need someone famous on BookTok to discover it because it is so ridiculously good.

What I loved:
- The characters were so well developed that I feel like I know them and we should go grab a drink, except the incel. Screw that guy.
- beautiful world building. It was easy to imagine but didn't bog down the story
- the magic made sense in connection with various seasons and felt consistent
- Genius depiction of the nice guy complex and the dangerous consequences of men feeling like they own or have a right to possess women. This is such a deep part of our society and so few stories show the dangerous nature of the nice guy. The guy who respects you and is nice but not because he is a nice person, as a manipulation tactic.
- She's a woman. Thank you Tulip for saying what we are all constantly wishing we could shout
- no annoying cliffhanger. Thank you! I already have enough anxiety.

I tried to not include any spoilers so sorry for the vagueness.

Really great writing with twists that come around when you think you know where the story is going! You get so much from this book such as found family and an amazing magic system; there’s also great world building, character development, and backstories in the perfect spots. I loved getting to know these characters and how realistically they were written, it made me feel that much closer to them. It definitely held my attention and it was hard to put down. I didn’t want this to end and I’m excited to see what’s in store next.
I was honored to receive an ARC for this and I absolutely enjoyed everything about it. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series!

I am absolutely enamored with this book. I'm usually a smut first, story later type of girl, but THIS? This I am enjoying. I enjoy the fact that it's the FMC that is morally gray. After having been essentially abandoned as a child, Vi has trouble connecting with people and it shows. Her main focus is the Race. Max's fall from the mountain? I was shocked!!! The reveal at the end? I look forward to the rest of the series!

Warning! Do not read this book! Especially at work. Why you may ask? Easy, you won’t be able to put it down. You will be hooked within the first page, heck, maybe even the first chapter. Once you start it, you will not want to do your job. Instead, all you want to do is curl in bed with your book (or phone if you read on your phone like me) and forget the world and dive right into this world.

If I was to describe the book as another book, I’d choose the Hunger Games. But instead of the main character not wanting to fight, Viola has that goal of winning so she can confront her parents, who I immediately don’t like. But do you know who I have a big crush on, Mace, and soon you will to! The characters in the book are so diverse. Some likable, some not, like one character I shall not name. I was surprised at the end with one character who I liked throughout until the very end.

Honestly, if I had to pick which book was better, a book that keeps you turning that page, between The Hunger Games and The Last Winter…it would be this book! There are a lot of great action and quotes but I’ll leave you one that really resonated with me: “I won’t let the sins of the past define me. I prefer the sins of today.”

If I was to be granted one wish for this book, it would be that it becomes so popular a movie is made. This book deserves a movie adaptation.

Holly did an amazing job with telling this story, how the scenes just flowed, and how vivid the imagery is. I highly suggest this book if you are a fan of the Hunger Games with a spicy female lead. You won’t be disappointed!

I eagerly wait for the second book to come out!

I am intrigued by the authors world and characters. This book had a lot of setup and not very much backstory. I found myself unsure about a handful of characters and their motivations as they seemed to go in multiple directions. It was interesting to see the main character form her relationships and what was important to her after what she endured as a child. It will be even more interesting now that the race is not her main focus anymore. I will be patiently waiting for the next one and hope that all the questions in my head get answered. Besides have you seen that cover? It’s gorgeous!.

Part of The Shadowweaver Trilogy series let me say what you think is going to happen well it goes all the way left on you leaving saying what the what …. Viola has been taught her whole life to win, not try but to win a spot in Ytopie (city of the fae) where she will be safe, and with her anger thoughts of revenge against her family that left her behind so the journey that her and her best friend embark upon is where it begins along the shenanigans they get into. Oh boy the twist and turns this takes you will have you wanting to jump to the end just to see if they make it to Ytopie and when they do make it the hardships that befall them does it turn out to be a life of wonder, of peace, is it all she was promised it would be, what of her friend Max does he make the full journey with her, and can they find happiness somewhere on the crazy ride they have buckled up to take?

What an INCREDIBLE start to a trilogy. This book just pulled me from my Iron Flame reading slump.

There is a lot of world building that can make the first chapter quite heavy. The character development incredible and just got better as more POVs are added. Once I was 1/3 of the way in, there were endless hooks within each chapter, I could not put the book down! So many breadcrumbs sprinkled throughout, I would catch myself numerous times connecting the pieces or making predictions. I rarely saw the plot twists coming, and they just kept getting better.

Unbelievable this was a debut book until I got to acknowledgments. I already know I'll be reading anything published by Holly Monroe in the future.

* ARC REVIEW *

"The Last Winter" by Holly is a book that took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I'm thrilled I stuck with it despite a less-than-hooking beginning. This atmospheric tale is a testament to the fact that patience often pays off in the world of literature.

Let's address the elephant in the room: the start of the book. Initially, it failed to captivate me, and I contemplated marking it as "Did Not Finish" (DNF). The pacing was a bit sluggish, and the characters didn't immediately grab my attention (Except Vi). However, I'm incredibly glad that I chose to persevere.

As the story unfolded, "The Last Winter" transformed into a gripping narrative that skillfully wove together various elements. Holly's ability to create a vivid, chilling atmosphere is truly exceptional. The wintry MAGICAL landscape, with its eerie, almost mystical aura, became a character in itself. The way the author describes the setting and the magic is so immersive that you can almost feel the biting cold and isolation seeping through the pages. The description of worldbuilding is amazing (The Race is as well!).

The character development in this book is another highlight. The female protagonist, initially seemingly ordinary, gradually evolves into a multi-dimensional crazy strong girl, a relatable individual.

Once the story gained momentum, it was impossible to put down. Twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, and the suspense built up wonderfully. The narrative took a dark and unexpected turn, and the tension in the story was palpable. It's a testament to the author's skill that she managed to transform a lackluster start into an enthralling and thrilling journey.

In the end, "The Last Winter" left me with mixed feelings, but overall, I can't help but rate it 4.5 stars. Despite the initially slow start, Holly's storytelling prowess and her knack for crafting a bone-chilling atmosphere made it a memorable read. If you're willing to give it a chance and push through the beginning, you'll be rewarded with a captivating, dark, and atmospheric tale that will leave you pondering its mysteries long after you've turned the last page.

I loved this book! I was provided an arc in exchange for review but all of this is my own thoughts.

Viola is such a good character to follow, I couldn't stop reading this book, she pulled me in and I just needed to know how everything was going to work out from page one. A little Hunger Games-esque in the competition part at the beginning (although everyone is 18+), and then you follow her into this fantasy world of Fae that uses their magic for many things, including what we would consider modern conveniences (I liked seeing that they had showers and TVs, so many fantasy worlds have all this magic but no showers??). Her friendship with Tulip throughout was nice to watch grow, and I loved that she never stopped having that friendship even when everything else was going on, and all of their conversations didn't revolve around the male lead. They are a newer friendship but they are building a strong one, and I can't wait to see it continue. (although I admit I was wary of Tulip when she showed up)

The POVs from Mace and from Zeph are really good to read as well. Holly keeps you guessing on where they are headed, who the "hero" is and who isn't the hero, and the motives behind everyone involved. You may be able to guess some of the bits, but there are other things that will make you do a double take.

We also get a take on the whole "nice guy" world that normally isn't presented anywhere, and we can see how dangerous that kind of mindset can really be to the women connected to the men who think this way, which I really appreciated. It was a different kind of perspective and one that I liked seeing.

The ending wasn't a super huge cliffhanger, yes it leaves tension that needs to be resolved and will bring you back for the next book, but it's not as stressful as some cliffhangers out there, and my poor stressed out heart appreciates that. I cannot wait for Book 2 and plan to reread this one a few more times because it was quick and built well.

CW - some "spicy" scenes, some death, mentions of SA (but not actually showing it happen, alluding to it only)

I was so pleased to be one of the first to read this book. It was amazing start to finish. Initially, it was giving me Hunger Games vibes, but I very quickly learned that it was so completely different that I regretted making that comparison in the first place - it’s truly unique and I haven’t read anything like it in quite some time.

The book is full of twists and turns, unexpected moments just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, and ends on an extraordinary note that has me begging for book 2. The main characters’ growth throughout the book was incredibly satisfying and so amazing to watch as you get deeper and deeper into the book! Holly has managed to avoid so many tired romance fantasy tropes, instead infusing this book with refreshing concepts, a magic system that makes sense in an ethereal way and explodes in my mind with colors, shapes, and sounds, and a gorgeous mix of heart-wrenching and heart-warming encounters. It’s also rare to read a book that covers so much ground, yet doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve missed out on any parts of the story - that is true authorial skill. I cannot wait to read the next book!

This was a book that I got invested in early and couldn't put it down once I started reading. Things are not always as they seem with the twists and turns it throws at you! There is love and betrayal, but maybe not from who you quite expected. The book is part of a trilogy, and you likely will need to read them in order based on how this one ended. I wanted to start on book 2 immediately, but unfortunately for me only the first book is available! I'm afraid to go into too much detail without giving away spoilers, but the character of Viola is a complex character, dealing with her own inner demons and hurt, while also trying to navigate a world that litterally keeps throwing obstacles in her way. This books has elements of fantasy, and has some parallels to The Hunger Games, but other than a recurring yearly race, that's where the comparison really ends.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and read it within a couple days. If you like fantasy, magic, and a strong female lead, this is a book I would recommend!

I had to take some time to process this book after finishing it on Monday. My initial reaction wasn't quite bewilderment but more of a "what happened?" after the twists and ending wrapped up--well wrapped up as much as a cliffhanger allows. Further pondering leads me to realizing I wasn't quite sure how to feel about any of the characters because their realistic-ness (nicely done as no one felt similar to another) left me on edge. I didn't, and don't, trust any of them (even our FMC Viola) even if I do have my favorites. Perhaps it is the world itself and how cutthroat it is that leads me to be untrusting of all the characters we meet, like I'm waiting for a betrayal and wouldn't even be surprised when said betrayal or betrays happen. Each backstory explains the "why" of their actions and thoughts, though I have to admit Zeph continues to pick at me because he doesn't quite fit into what I was thinking. Tulip either ... but that leads back to the suspense of me believing something isn't quite right. And while I have questions of the setup of the world, wanting more explanation of the gods and the lore, we got what we needed from this book to understand the plot and the flow of where it all was taking us.

The first half of this went really slowly for me. It was reminiscent of the hunger games, but with multiple people making it to live in a city of paradise. Except. It's all a lie, isn't it?

Viola has trained her whole life to participate in the Race and reach Ytopie to be with her parents again. The humans and lowlanders fight for their lives while the Dae sit in this city, experiencing and taking for granted every comfort imaginable. Viole dares to hope that she will also find Link upon winning, which she is determined to do. Along the way she loses people, and gains new allies.

Once in Ytopie, Viola is seemingly drawn back and forth between two brothers, Zeph and Mace. She doesn't know who to trust and who to let in, so she continues to keep to and protect herself, along with her companion Tulip. As alliances are formed and revealed, so is information. Her choices are her own, which are pleasant for one brother, but not the other. The one who cannot accept that she is her own person will be a dangerous adversary. But which will it be?

Despite a slow start, I really enjoyed this book! I'll definitely be looking for book 2!

Oh my Christ wow 🤯 the world building is beautiful, the characters are so multi layered and well developed, so many twists I didn’t see coming, I wouldn’t be surprised if this blew up as the next big fantasy series! Where do I begin? I was IMMEDIATELY sucked into this book and into this world.

A Race for a chance to live in a Utopian environment? ✔️
A love triangle with brothers? ✔️
THE most interesting magic system I've ever read about? ✔️

I loved it all.
I'm only upset I read the ARC, so now I have to wait longer to read Book 2.

Take the chance on this new author. It'll be worth your while!

I absolutely loved this book. It's one of my top reads for this year. I got completely engrossed in the world the author built and became deeply invested in each character, which is exactly what a good book is supposed to do. I'm already holding my breath waiting for the sequel!

I really enjoyed this book, but I will admit that I felt there were a lot of missed opportunities. I like that the book tricks you into expecting Viola and Zeph to be a thing at the beginning of the book which I loved, but it never explains or goes into why Zeph has such an obsession with her. He goes from 0 to 100 really quick. After a while I thought maybe Mace had been using his influence on Zeph since she got off of the elevator, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. I thought it was a little unclear and just didn't make much sense why a decently nice guy went so psycho. I'm normally all for an enemies to lovers romance but to me there really wasn't much of a build up. I wish it hadn't skipped over most of the race. I love a little action and it would have been nice to get to know the characters a little more. I wanted to cry when Max died but truthfully I never cared for her because I never got to know her. I could go on and on about what I hoped would happen, but then this would be too long. The other thing that didn't make sense to me was why Stone seemed to be all high and mighty. Mace acts like he can't override him even though he can. I loved the Fae and their powers. They were really well thought out. Looking forward to reading the first Fall.

4/5 ⭐️ Spoilers ahead ⚠️

I want to like this so much but you know how every book has that one character you want to stomp on to death until they stop breathing ? well that's Zeph.
Like this man can't be that delusional like come on my guy. Viola never showed one kernel of interest in you and then you go ape 💩 and claim she's your destiny and you're fated to be together when in reality you made this whole scenario in your head. Then you start acting like my 10 yr old and throw a temper tantrum because your brother got the goods and you didn't. You wanted to take her choices away from her and you thought she was going to do what ? Say yess daddyyy take me and live happily never after ?! Like how he goes from being the good guy to full villain in 2.5 seconds it's beyond me.
Sorry I just wanted to rant. I was so confused at first when it went from Zeph pov to Mace and then I realized I'm basically reading the temu version of Fourth Wing but I'm not mad about it.
And the cliffhanger though !
