In JET Mayhem, our heroine becomes inadvertently ensnared in a violent transnational criminal entity's scheme. Against all odds she must risk everything to save her family, and herself, from a cutthroat group that will stop at nothing to achieve its ends.
Another crazy book for Jet. The big lesson in this one is that even if the first crepe place has a long line, stay there, only bad things come from going to another one where the lines are short. Because we know and Jet should know that if something happens, Jet tries to help and this time it led her into a cluster fuck, one where she got burned bad. It also sucked that Matt on his simple, find them a new home, ran into all sorts of trouble himself. Between the two of them they really should get out of Mexico fast, instead at the end they found a quiet place and are going to give it a try. Now I'm not against them having quiet time and getting to just live, but not sure this is the country for them to do that in after all they went through and you know people are still looking for them.
It seems lacking, the book has so many sub plots, you begin to wonder what the author is thinking One entire sub plot appears to have nothing to do with the main story until the last 2 or 3 chapters of the book and even then I was left wondering "so what?". I assume it may lead to the next book, but it's not obvious Other than all of that, the book follows the usual formula of of Jet and Matt being separated, getting into trouble individually and then getting back together to overcome the main baddie, all the while trying to look after Hannah Nothing really new, but still enjoyable enough to keep you engaged
I love that they are still together, even if they are still in hiding or running for their lives. Will Octavio keep coming after Jet, thinking she was part of what his wife was doing? What about Bai who was after Nablia? Who drugged the Operative who was watching Nabila but ended up sick & away from his surveillance. I know that’s what happened. Cliff-hangers. Are we getting another book in the series to fill in my questions? I love the main characters. Jet is such a badass! Looking out for the next installment.
Just finished my rereading of the entire series. I really enjoyed my rereading of the series, discovering some points that I did not remember about the past reading.
I highly recommend any of RUSSELL BLAKE's books as he has the ability to make you feel like you are actually standing in the story as you are reading it.
Always plenty of action! Jet is an amazing super woman! I love her incredible escapes! Matt and her daughter add to the drama! I've read them all, so please get another one in print soon!
Thank you Russell Blake for another wild ride with Jet. Will admit was very lost at times in the beginning bouncing from one story to another but all partially comes together at the end. Sure the next one will continue.
I love this book from beginning to end. However , when will we see the family finally settled in and Jet just work for hire for the company. I feel so bad for the the little girl.
I absolutely love, love, love this series as well as everything else, Mr. Russell Blake has written. You can never go wrong choosing any of his books. Always exciting adventures.
This book was not as enjoyable at the other books in the series. There were too many moving parts. At one time I felt like I was reading five books. notwithstanding that though there was some action from Jet. Overall the book was a fair read. I give it a 5.5.
Jet, Matt and Hannah just want to lead a normal life. Then they stumble upon dueling cartels and it takes time and bullets to get extricated. A fast-paced story.
Another excellent book in the series which continues to find new ways to peak my interest. The question i do have is why does Jet look so different on the cover, and it’s really not for the better.
A fast pace thrill ride from start to finish. There was plenty of action in the story too. I wish your Jet stories were still on Kindle Unlimited. Can’t wait until the next book!
