This has to be one of the most amazing books I have ever read. The thing about Bluebirds is you feel like being a better person and also that you can be. After every time that I have read this little book I have felt like a kinder, more gentle, and an overall good person. There is something magical and truly special about this book, so much so that I have read it at least ten times, and I would have read it more but I continually feel I must share what it says with others. Believe me when I say it is worth the hour to two hours it takes to read it!

Sāku lasīt ar nelielu skepsi, jo šobrīd esmu mazliet citā mentālajā noskaņojumā. Bet stāsts paķer, viegli lasās, un kopumā viegla izklaides grāmata nelielai prāta atpūtināšanai un iedvesmai.

Kārtējā grāmat apar mīlestību un par to, ka tai kādreiz ir jābeidzas...
šoreiz Kriss bija atnācis pie savas mīļotās, jo vēlējās viņu satikt vēl pēdējo reizi pirms došanās prom. Stāstā viņš veic dažādus brīnumus, kas liek baiļoties ciemata iedzīvotājiem par savu doršību.
Man šī grāmata piesaistīja un iepatikās tāpēc, ka te ir stāsts par mīlestību vispārākajā pakāpē. Tajā ir daudz atziņu, kas liek padomāt par manu līdzšinējo dzīvi un iespējams mainīt dažas lietas paradumos un ikdienā. Grāmata māca mīlēt bez ierobežojumiem un izņēmumiem, jo tikai tā pats sevi var mīlēt un tā arī citi spēs iemīlēt Tevi..

One of the most beautiful books I have ever read, if not even the most beautiful.
The book is full of heart-warming, guiding & exciting metaphors and it takes an hour max to read the book carefully through.
My advice is to leave notes while reading and underline the best metaphors. This is a book you will want to return to if you lose all the necessary guidelines to life & love.

Deivida V. Freižera mīlas stāsts ‘’Zilie putni’’ ir balstīta uz cilvēka karmas un ikdienas realitāšu skaidrojumu meklējumiem. Šīs grāmatas sižets notiek vasarā, kuras galvenie varoņi ir Heinzu ģimene un kāds neparasts zēns vārdā Kriss.
Sižets notiek kādā ļoti saulainā un jaukā vasarā. Pie Heinzu ģimenes ierodas kāds savāds zēns Kriss, kurš grib vasaru dzīvot pie Heinzu ģimenes. Kriss acumirklī iemīlās Heinzu ģimenes meitā Elisonē un viņu starpā rodas neparastas jūtas, bet Kriss ir ļoti neparasts zēns, kurš ir nācis šajā pasaulē, lai palīdzētu Heinzu ģimenei saprast tās smago likteni, kas notiks ar tās ģimenes locekļiem. Grāmatas sākums ir ļoti traģisks, jo nomirst Elisones tēvs Freds, kas ir ļoti smags trieciens Heinzu ģimenei. Tālākajā grāmatas sižetā parādās Krisa neparastās spējas. Kriss spēja izārstēt Heinzu mazmeitu Emiju, kura nevarēja staigāt. Viņš izvizināja Elisones mazo brālīti Todu ar lidmašīnu, par ko Tods bija sapņojis visu mūžu, bet vēlāk Kriss izglāba Emijas mazo brālīti , kuru uz ielas notrieca mašīna, bet beigās Kriss pats aiziet bojā. Stāsta beigās Kriss, būdams miris, apciemo Elisoni un pastāsta, kas pietiesībā bija un ko viņš gribēja iemācīt šajā vasarā Heinzu ģimenei.
Šajā stāstā parādās arī ļoti spilgtas romantisma iezīmes. Kriss bija vientuļš un nesaprasts varonis, kuram nebija ne ģimenes, ne arī tuvinieki. Viņš bija nācis šajā pasaulē pilnīgi viens. Stāstā ir arī spilgts dabas attēlojums, kas parāda tās skaistumu. Stāstā arī parādās pārspīlējums, ka cilvēks ir visu notikumu centrs, kāds tas ir Kriss.
Kriss māca par to, ka cilvēkam savā dzīvē pret visu ir jāizturas tāpat, kā pret savu mīļoto. Kāda būs tava attieksme, tāds arī būs tavs liktenis šajā dzīvē. Kļūdoties mums tomēr tiek dota iespēja izvairīties no ciešanām jeb karmas par saviem nodarījumiem citiem, ja vien paši to grib un vēlas.
Lasot šo grāmatu, tā lika aizdomāties par to, kā tu pats izturies pret saviem līdzcilvēkiem un vai tu spēj dzīvē pret visu izturēties kā pret savu mīļoto un cienīt citus. Lai gan beigas šai grāmatai ir traģiskas, kopumā tā raisīja pozitīvas un siltas emocijas.

For what reason did it cause such a massive excitement in my acquaintance who suggested me this book?

A lovely story that, however, does not explain reincarnation, nor karma. It merely offers two-dimensional interpretation of what these two things could mean. These concepts are not to play around with.

I give 5 stars because I read it when I was 18 years old and it was kinda spiritual awakaning in some sense for me, because felt so true. On this point it always will be special book! One of those at the right time and right moment! I read it in one opening. 🙌

Bought this on a whim from a thrift store. It’s definitely just a story meant to advertise reincarnation to you, but it does it with a story that feels on par with a Pure Flix film when it comes to subtly and realism. Krisna is definitely the author’s self-insert, and I think I would have honestly enjoyed the story more if all of the characters didn’t spend the book metaphorically sucking his dick. It gets two stars because for such a short book, it does at least do its job (makes you think about reincarnation in a positive light + makes you consider how you interact with others) and the writing itself isn’t bad if you excuse the lack of any character development whatsoever.

I feel like the first time I read this book was when I was a teenager(I am 31 now) and to this day I still remember it being one of my favourite books I had ever read. Yet I couldn’t find it anywhere to read again, and finally it’s ended up back in my life after a big life change and perhaps it’s for a reason. Let’s see, I just started reading it again 🫶🏻 -2025

I have read this book at least ten times. It's a super fast read that makes you work at being a better person, even if you don't buy into reincarnation and such. This time around I read it aloud to my partner and that was an experience itself. I cried a few times while reading because it's just so damn touching. I highly recommend this book as a great uplifting read that will make you strive to be a better person.
