A young mother is baking holiday treats when the unthinkable occurs...
FBI agent Olivia Knight and her partner, Brock, are ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style. But when a home invasion turns deadly and a housewife is found in the kitchen with multiple stab wounds. The duo is called to an upscale neighborhood to track down the assailant before more bodies drop.
Was this a crime of passion and was the home invasion simply a ruse? But when more housewives are found murdered with multiple stab wounds, it seems that there could be a potential serial killer on the loose.
With possible suspects ranging from the husbands who may have been having affairs to even the babysitter. As more victims are found, the killer’s motivation is seemingly far more twisted and convoluted than Olivia could have ever imagined.
Elle Gray lives in a small town with her 2 cats, and her handsome husky. As a girl, she was obsessed with crime novels and thrillers.
Today, she loves writing and creating thrilling novels with courageous, strong heroes/heroines and dangerous psychopaths. She invites you to join her exciting world of detectives and FBI agents that take down killers and kick butt.
Love thes stories and plots. However the grammar and English at times is embarrassing especially for an author. It is BORED WITH not BORED OF. It is ALL OF A SUDDEN not ALL THE SUDDEN. It is BY ACCIDENT. Not ON ACCIDENT. Tons of ending sentences in a preposition. Lots of repetitive thoughts and keep saying the same things over on different words. And the big one from many authors when a protagonist is about to kill somrone: “ You don’t have to do this”. I’m no English teacher but really? I expect more from writers. Characters and varies always great. Holds my attention if I can get past cringing at this stuff.
This was another great read about FBI agent Olivia Knight and her partner, Brock. They are tasked with finding the killer(s) who have broken through extreme security systems in order to kill wealthy, vulnerable women. Trying to determine how these complicated security systems are breached is the key to finding why these women were murdered when so few items were taken from their expensive homes, and how they were targeted. A great way to spend time with Olivia & Brock.
Special agents Olivia and Brock are not only thinking about a case still opened but are now after another serial killer. This one doesn’t seem to leave any clues to follow up on, just the dead housewives bodies. However, the serial killer does seem to be able to get pass the victim’s alarm systems so that is where they start. This one will keep you guessing how will they stop this killer!
The book is interesting and keeps your attention. The story line is very unique, never would have figured out the killers. Its got me wondering about something tho. In other stories about/with FBI agents, don't the agents have other team members to do computer work like searches, etc. It seemed like Olivia and Brock were on their own a lot. Of course they are super agents though. I wasn't surprised by the ending. It had to end that way. Now, I'm worried.
This was another fantastic thriller that you won't want to miss! A complex case with many misdirects, suspense, and intriguing twists. It was a great addition to this terrific series. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
Can't wait for the next release! (Even after that huge cliffhanger!)
The Housewife(Olivia Knight FBI Mystery Thriller Book 12)
OMG!!!!!!! This book was amazing. It shows that even rich people can be murdered. Olivia and Brock have their jobs cut out for them this time, very rich people, security systems and murder. A very intelligent murderer, an accomplice and a friend. So messed up. They solve it all in the end but it took a while.
Nothing ruins Valentine's Day like a new case, and a dead body.
As Olivia and Brock rush to figure out who would want this young mother dead, they are met with a defiant family, and questions that seem to be without answers.
A great book! I enjoyed this one, and the edge of the chair feeling. I had a book hangover after this one, as I could not sleep until I finished it.
Serial killers are hard to catch unless you have Olivia and Brock.
Great read. Another I couldn't put down. Trying to figure this out was tough. Glad I had Olivia and Brock to help. They sure are getting some followers on the bad side looking for revenge. But, thankfully they are good at there job. Now we are in for a great "what do I do now".
I loved this book . This is a great thriller. I could not put this book down. This book keeps you in suspense until the very end. This is a must read thrilker. I highly recommend this book
People in fancy houses in gated communities with state of the art security are being targeted by a particularly sinister psychopath….while Zara and the Gamemaster remain on the loose.
Olivia and Brock get assigned to some interesting stories to solve. Rich women being murdered in their own secured homes. A lot of research was involved due to the security was turned off but how and by whom. Interesting nook.
Another gteat tead by Elle Gray. She never seems to disappoint. This had me guessing the out come and I could not have been farther from the correct killer if I tried. On to book 13 the intro was very suspenseful. Keep your books coming!!
The investigation and capture of another serial killer was as expected. The romance between Olivia and Brock is blossoming. The best about this read is the surprise ending. On to the next book....
Great book, Olivia and Brock have their hands full with lots of murders.. The murderer was very smart and left no clues. Smart as a whip the murders kept happening. They finally get a break and then the chase begin.
Olivia and Brock are trying to find out who are targeting peoples homes and killing and robbing them even with security systems and finding out. This story had lots of suspense and action. Thank you.
Another one of my favorites in the Olivia Knight series. Yes, another disgusting sadistic killer, but good editing and an intriguing story line. Good stuff! And the murder scenes are not as graphic as those in the previous book. Whew!
