Syd just bought her first place along the shores of her favorite beachside community, Long Beach, Washington. She expected to spend her summer turning her house into a home, while reconnecting with close friends and proving she'd moved on after an ex-boyfriend left her with scars on her heart. Kite City Bound!
I loved this book! Syd, Dean, Colton, Dayton, all of them. I feel like I gained a new bunch of friends and family. The characters are so well developed, their personalities defined, you feel as if you know them. Their stories are such that you are allowed to actually care and are interested. Not a common thing these days. I truly enjoyed this and am looking forward to many more. Now I have to head for the coast!

Absolutely loved! The camaraderie that these group of characters had in their friendship was nothing I’ve read before. All the characters were so well developed and I felt like we got to know each and every one of them which I feel is rare.
The characters were so real and I feel like anyone could relate to them.
This was a beach read and loved reading it that way.
I loved reading this especially since I’m friends with the author and as long as I’ve known her I’ve witnessed her taking about this book and the ideas behind it. For it to be out and to have read it myself is so cool. It’s fun to see the story come to life from just some ideas. Can’t wait for the next one.
