Book#3, in the Jack Whitfield Thrillers series
Jack third mission has the same simple objective: blackmail a hi-tech influencer. Things are not that easy, when out of nowhere, a rival terrorist organization blows up the entire mission and on top an old adversary has Jack in sights. What should Jack do? While the clock is ticking...with no room for error he decides to go on the offensive and while doing so he gives us one of those dazzling ride full of intense action.
With breakneck speed Jack bring us deep into espionage and international intrigue. The pacing is relentless; the author doesn’t leave him breathing time. He is in one predicament after another. While his every movement is controlled Jack tries to outwit and outsmart the two clandestine groups hell-bent on upending the world order.
The story is well-written as usual and in his typical style we have a narrative that is very visual and descriptive. Being immersed in non-stop action and crazy insane act of evil from opening page till the conclusion is not only intense but can be also bewitching. With its many twists and turns at full throttle no way I was distracted. Every word kept me captive wanting to see if Jack will live another to go on his 4th mission...Till next time.

Not Next Week. Now.
Well paced. Likable characters. Unexpected turns. In short everything readers usually admire in a thriller. Mefford is able to capture the humanity of his characters which enables him to draw the reader into the story line. Now or Never is the first Jack Whitfield volume I’ve read, but never felt I missed out on anything. There are short bits that let you know that things have happened at another time and place, but they don’t slow pace only let the reader know he/she might want to check out the where and when. Pick it up. It’s a very good read

The third book in the Jack Whitfield thrillers has our hero trying to alter the AI world at the instructions of the evil "Simon."
The conflict within himself is creating as much tension as accomplishing his assignments with the threat of instant death hanging over his head. Will he ever get to live a normal life? Perhaps some characters from the author's previous books will save the day.
A fun ride and I highly recommend reading Now or Never by John W. Mefford.

Once again, the author has you head spinning with all the twists and turns in this Jack Whitfield Thriller series. Jack is on his third mission and while trying to do what he is told by “Simon” to get his life back, he’s in all different countries and in a lot of fights and dead people. Jack has one more mission to complete and he’s to get his life back. Will the next mission be the death of Jack or a start to a new life.

Plenty of action and many surprises. Jack fights an unknown enemy that seems to know his every move. How can he get around that? Great story and even greater characters!! Be ready for surprises - and they are NOT gift-wrapped! I received an ARC to post an honest review. Honestly?? Pick this one up as soon as you can!!!

Wow! Action Packed! How many missions is Jack on now? What happens with all the people Jack meets? Jack goes to many countries, with interesting info about each place! What does he learn about Simon? Who is Rogue One? Read and find out all of the above. This book was a free sample and this is an honest review.

Jack Whitfield is given non-stop action in the story as he travels throughout Europe chasing down Simon’s targets. With the introduction of others from the stories Mefford has produced, I can’t wait to read the next installment.

Book # 3 of the Jack Whitfield series is another fast paced espionage thriller. It’s full of intrigue, action and twists you won’t see coming. The plot is very entertaining and well written. A very enjoyable story. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

As always John Mefford begins this story with a bang. High drama, excitement and mystery dominate this thriller as the main character is sent on a bizarre and puzzling mission. The excitement lasts right up to the very end.

Will Jack and his family ever be safe? Will Jack finally figure out who Simon is? This is an action packed series, with lots of twists and turns. Just when you think you know what's going on things change. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Goodreads says I’ve read some of these - and it’s confusing because there’s #1 and #1 Barracuda.

This series is a amazing game of cat and mouse with the constant threats of retribution if tasks assigned are not completed. Failure is not an option.
