Caprioni Queen #4

Love & Power

Rate this book
Love is what started this whole thing.

A man who loved two women. A mother who sacrificed herself for her daughter. A daughter who will stop at nothing to take down those who killed and threatened the ones she loves. I’ve been told all my life that love was a weakness in our world. That couldn’t be further from the truth, but that’s only half of what I need to finish the job.

Power—it’s the only thing some people understand besides money. I’m not worried, power is one thing I’m not lacking in this fight. That’s what comes with being the sole heir to two criminal empires and making friends in all the right places.

Now that all the pieces are set it’s finally time to shake things up in this criminal world and bring an end to the era of the Five Families. What will come of it after I’ve gotten my pound of flesh? That’s someone else’s problem… I’m just here for revenge.

Audio: 4 stars for both Heather Firth and Wen Ross

Book: 4-4.5 stars

What an ending, I loved seeing where this went, but I wished for a little bit of a different ending haha!

I do wish we had more of the men’s POV, but Astin is still a kick ass female lead!

I can’t wait for Von’s book, her first books is out and on audio, but haven’t decided if I want to pick it up now or when the second book comes out… either way, Elizabeth Knight is an author that I will read more of!

"So you know what, take your chauvinistic moral high ground and fucking choke on it. I’m the bitch who’s still standing, and you’re the one who’s going to be six feet under fertilizing my mother’s goddamn flowers."

Ahh. Unfortunately, this is a somewhat disappointing end to a great series. The plot in the first three books was so packed that this final instalment seems mostly filler. Almost nothing of consequence happened until around 80 per cent, and the closing show-down with the all-powerful "Family" was over so quickly.

It's evident that the purpose of this book is to set up another series featuring Von, a character introduced early on. However, I wasn't keen. She was so unnecessary in this story that most of her dialogue felt cheesy and cliche, and her presence felt generally distracting.

With so much filler, it took away from the romance of this series, too. I feel like there was hardly any time spent with the love interests outside of the spice, and this is supposed to be multi-pov. The author had set so many of Astin’s men up to go on serious personal growth, but it was all untapped and unresolved. Where was Atticus venturing outside of his rigid routines? Where was Ryker coming to terms with sharing his childhood love? Where was Liu finding a personality? Luca remained perfect, but I needed more of him!

If you read this series, you could stop at book three and be very satisfied with the story's outcome. Just my thoughts :)

Girls girls girls!
What an ending for Astin and the family she’s created along the way ☺️ it’s been a hard fought journey for answers and revenge but boy was it worth it for that showdown 😆 it’s been a tough road for Astin with everything her family out her through to make her strong and then losing some of her closest family along the way, never knowing who she can trust and who may be out to get her 😢 including her newly found gramps, who’s a character in his own right and could well be friend or foe. Her takeover causes a few ripples….prepare yourself for the ensuing heartache and fall out 😩😩
Yet thankfully her men would absolutely go to war for her against anyone and even protect her from herself….which she’s needed a lot in this last book as there’s been a lot she’s had to come to terms with and sort out….ruddy family 😣 and some times they have the best team bonding ways of dealing 🌶🥵🔥
Not only that but she’s managed to create the worlds deadliest girls group with Ivy Foxxx and Von who are absolutely incredible in their own rights (I reallllly hope they get individual books) and it’s with their help that Astin can finally put her revenge plan into place. Things are about to get ugly for Astin and her harem! I am sooooo soooo pleased though that Ralph got the final moment in this book - their relationship is so heartfelt and it’s just 🥰 a great HEA with everything all tied up for Astin ☺️

Yes! I've been so eager for the fourth book in the Caprioni Queen series and Liz brought it. Love and Power was full of emotion, family, and friendship with a touch of brutality. How else will a queen rule from her bloody throne?

Astin goes from being totally alone to being surrounded by a makeshift family who loves and supports her as she uses her brilliant brain to get her revenge. I love that Astin finally had a family she could open up to, and has accepted the guys, she's experiencing emotions instead of closing herself off. Astin was a badass as always but she was able to finally be vulnerable and lean on people she trusts.

She and the guys are getting pretty serious, important conversations are being had and they are figuring out their big messy family. Liz knows how to write guys that make me swoon because I always love all the guys in the harem and the same can be said for this one. I've seen each of the guys have grown into a better version of themselves while helping Astin do the same. Astin is lucky, she has a great group that I love, I still wanna hug Atty every time he makes an appearance, and I finally found out the Hound's real name and it was priceless.

This book took me a little longer to read because it had such great moments that I found myself rereading scenes right away. Making sure I absorbed all of it. It was interesting seeing the mafia in Nepreea and learning a lot of unexpected things alongside Astin. I didn't know what to expect when it came to Astin and her relationship with her grandfather Frediano Raffa but was pleasantly surprised by it. Speaking of relationships this book was full of girl power, Astin already had cultivated a friendship with Ivy Foxxx that keeps growing, and now Von Zuccaro has joined the group, and her crazy matches Astin's. It was a hoot.

There was this one perfect moment for me when Liz dropped the best Easter egg ever. That sent my mind spinning in a whole bunch of directions, one of them being a little series of novellas who Astin and her group of badass females on some wild adventures. Nothing deep just a fun read. Man, that would be awesome and you'd never know who would join in.

Love and Power was glorious. The conclusion to Astin's story brought me such satisfaction and the epilogue was epic. I can't think of a better ending. Sadly, Astin's story is over but if I remember correctly, Liz said that we will see her again because a couple of fabulous characters might be getting their own series. Which will be great because it seems like there are stories to tell there. I guess we'll see.

Hope you're ready for the finale because it is here. We're getting a roller coaster ride of Astin's story and it's going to be wild!
Things pick up where book three left off. They've gotten Luca back, and now it's time to roll out. They know where some of their enemies are and now it's time to stay a step ahead of the game. Cut out the rot, cut off those who are not "need to know" and move forward. The plan? Bring it all down and rebuild it into a great empire. Or is it? LOL! Gotta keep you guessing right there. LOL!
There is going to be a ton of drama, steamy scenes, and romance (in their own twisted ways). I like how the guys, especially, are learning that they all need to be on the same page when it comes to Astin. Them all coming together is a really nice element that I appreciated. Honestly though...took them long enough to figure THAT out. LOL! I mean...seriously guys! Come on now! I get it...little head trumps big head, but do better! LOL!
You get a dynamite ending and a nice epilogue to round it all out. I'm not a "mafia" style girl when it comes to these books, but I really enjoyed this one. Definitely looking forward to more novels by this author in the future.

“Love & Power” is the absolute perfect ending to the “Caprioni Queen” series! It has everything I loved so much about this series and its characters, and love and power are on the top of the list. Even though this is a maffia series with a badass fmc at the top, the author manages to add the perfect amount of humor, lightness and vulnerability to make the story hit so much deeper. I sincerely love how it all comes and works together.

While I was reading this final book, I was thinking back on how the series started, how the men were introduced and how the slow build harem formed. It made me realize I really want to read this series again in a few years, and watch it all unfold again. In the mean time I really hope we will see Astin and her men again in the future, as side characters in some of these other people’s series. I love some of the side characters in this series and really hope for all of them to find their own big found family!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's definitely a 5-star read for me.

There's nothing more to say. I went into this story not knowing what to expect, since I didn't find anyone on my social media talking about it, but it didn't disappoint me in the slightest.

I've read about other women who are heads of mafias before, but nothing like Astin. Somehow, Elizabeth has managed to make everything about her feel natural; nothing was exaggerated or out of place.

I really felt for Gunner, and I must say I wasn't expecting Liu at all.

As for the girls, I feel like I need Ivy's ending more than Von's. This series is my inspiration for my own mafia world. I'll read more from this author in the future.

Explosive ending for a series that's been an adventure

This was a great wrap up for this series full of action, betrayals, secrets, love, smexy times and emotions. Astin certainly got the ending she deserved and she once again proved why she is The Queen. Her men are 100% on the ride with her and I loved that. Her 2 besties are bad@$$ chicks just like her and I hope we get to know them better.

This has honestly been a great series. I love strong FMCs and Astin delivered. If you like Mafia romance then give this a shot.

True Mafia Queen. This is the epic conclusion for Astin and her men. The writer has a way of conveying a storyline filled with emotions. The characters have grown through the series and I was truly invested in the outcome. I’m sad that it is over, but thrilled with the finale.

Great Concept, Poor Execution

The Caprioni Queen series by Elizabeth Knight had so much potential. The premise was strong — a dark, mafia-style reverse harem with a fierce female lead — but unfortunately, the execution fell short.

My main issue is that we’re constantly told how powerful and terrifying Astin is, but we rarely get to see it. Her supposed “badass” reputation comes through endless monologues rather than meaningful action or character development. The writing just doesn’t have the depth or skill needed to deliver what the author set out to achieve.

Structurally, each book follows the same frustrating pattern:
• The first 10% introduces the main problem Astin needs to solve.
• The next 80% is sex scenes or discussions about dealing with the problem, without much actually happening.
• The final 10% rushes to resolve everything in a few pages.

This leaves huge gaps in the story. Plot points feel skipped over, and emotional beats are often told rather than shown. It’s as if the editor let entire books go by without insisting on showing key moments that could’ve made the story impactful.

The romance/smut also overshadows the plot instead of enhancing it. I don’t mind spice — in fact, it can strengthen a story when done right — but here it becomes repetitive and replaces character growth or meaningful tension.

I actually love the concept of the series. The feminist themes could have been powerful, but they’re forced through speeches instead of being naturally woven into the events. Astin could’ve been an incredible character, but she ends up feeling one-dimensional — more like someone pretending to be a mafia queen than actually living it. Her alter ego, “Darkness,” had potential, yet it’s barely explored beyond a few scenes.

The supporting cast — her lovers, father, bodyguard — all lack depth. They orbit around Astin without clear motivations or individuality. Their devotion feels unearned, and the relationships lack emotional realism.

Even the big payoff moments, like the final showdown or the resolution of her trauma, feel hollow. Problems are solved quickly or off-page, and the epilogue jumps ahead without giving readers the catharsis they’ve been waiting for.

In short:
• Don’t go in expecting intricate world-building, layered characters, or a truly strong female lead.
• The series is best read as light smutty fluff with a mafia aesthetic, not as a deep or emotionally satisfying fantasy.

Verdict: Great idea, weak delivery. I wanted to love it — I really did — but it’s a case of “tell, don’t show” gone too far.

Hail the Queen

So I loved the series as a hole. The story behind it. The unions and friendships made was incredible. But it felt off compared to the rest. And I was highly disappointed again on the lack of Ryker. I'm sorry but he didn't get nearly as much as he should of. It doesn't matter if it supposedly happened behind doors of whatever it seems that oral was all he did if anything after the 1st time. While Jace ans Braxton got so much time I wasn't even interested and swiped through. Everyone should of got equal time. I kept hoping that we would get to see her go to him. I love group time as much as anyone else but the fact thatwe didn't get to see his 1 on 1 was disappointing to say the least. Ryker was and still is my fav he was her child BFF and it wasn't his fault he was taken from her or letters stopped but she took it out on him anyways. And I really hated how the guys would talk to him. No in my opinion he did not deserve the slap. Jace didn't have a right. He might of had a point as to her spiral but it didn't take everyone to do it. Ryker wanted her safe and that suppose to be top priority. He didn't even sleep that day. I was hoping to see her go to him and him alone in the morning to see if he was ok. But it didn't happen. She favored some over others in my opinion. It irritated me. There are 7 men so maybe there should of been a schedule who gets who when. Or else nobody is equal. I dont know this last book just disappointed me just a bit. But with that being said. I loved it in whole because of the story she is a Bad@ss FMC nobody to mess with some of her guys tho. Idk. Couple seemed to childish to be mafia even with mad skills. Again Ryker I think got the short end of the stick. He was my fav next to Atty and Luca but the rest I didn't care for as much even tho yes I liked them just not level as the other 3. The writing in this series made it like youbwere there. Along for the ride. I absolutly love mafia stories and it's bonus if it's RH. Anyone who reads these who like those will love this series. And ease don't take my opinion above about the guys or Ryker to heart. As reader I get emotionally attached to the series and it frustrates me sometime that as a reader I don't get what I want or not like what I read. It is my opinion only just read the series because it really is good and form your own opinion. .I waited so long for the last one and then I read it in under a day. So please sit back relax and enjoy.

Getting Revenge
"We are one until death."

The conclusion of Astin's story was everything! The author really did an amazing job with the storyline with the five families. I loved everything about this series and Astin will forever be one of my favorite FMCs.

"A Queen can only hold her throne as long as she's willing to shed blood for it, and I don't plan on losing."

Astin, Ryker, Atticus, Luca, Braxton, Jace, Lie and Hound are back! Both on balancing out this lifestyle with each other and with enemies at every turn. There may be lots of factors coming in, but one thing is for sure; the Accardi and the Leoni Family are going down - even if she has to go down with them.

This book was filled to the brim with so much going on as well as Astin and her men trying to maintain as healthy a relationship the eight of them can be. We meet Von, one of the biggest weapons dealer and smuggler and I instantly loved her! Astin, Von and Ivy are definitely the bada$$ girl team everyone wants to side with. All three of them are something to be feared and I so hope we see more of these women together!

The conclusion that came up with brilliant, only it left me wanting so much more!!! Astin Caprioni-Raffa is by far one of the best female main characters I have ever read, and I am not yet ready to say goodbye to her. She is everything. I really did feel like the ending came up fast, but honestly, how do you end a series like this? The author can keep going on and on, I'm sure. It was amazing.

I hope we will get more from some of these side characters in the future. This was one of my favorite series and I can't wait to see what else this author's amazing writing comes up with!!

*Overall 5.5
*Heat? 5/5
*Fast Burn
*Multiple first person POV
*MMFMMMMM Romance
*Ends on HEA for Astin. Hopefully more to continue in this world.

“The truth of the matter is I’m not a monster. I’m a Raffa, which was something far more dangerous.”

Astin has had such a large amount on her plate since officially coming into the Caprioni world. Between weeding out the traitors, dealing with the death of her father, battling with her Darkness, and adjusting to a life with seven different men, she's been a busy woman. Everything has been constantly moving and this final book is no different. There is no real time to slow down, but the end is nearing.
This book really shows how much Astin has changed since the beginning of the book. Heart of ice, where? She has grown to be a very emotional character, learning to open her heart to others, to love, and to gain new and meaningful relationships with those outside of her men. Her emotion has made her an even stronger person, in my opinion. She has more to fight for, she considers those around her before making rash decisions and even listens to their opinions before acting, and she in turn has gained such support from those she has made connections with, giving her a forever family in the process.
The ending of this book was perfect to me. I love that Astin got her revenge and was able to hurt the ones that set everything in motion to kill her mother. I'm glad she wasn't alone in the process and that every little thing didn't sit on her shoulders. Her gal pals, Ivy and Von also had their own parts and I am equally excited to see what becomes of their books. I think they were too important of characters to not get their own later on. Plus, I would love to see what happens in the mafia world as they create a bit more balance or chaos, because honestly it could be both. There is so much more to this world and I can't wait to see Ivy and Von thrive in their own piece of it.

What and ending! Astin's journey is finally complete. She's come a long way from the fiercely independent woman who was unwilling to let anyone in or rely on anyone to a woman who has seven men she loves, trusts and relies on to stand by her and support her.

With Love & Power, everything has come full circle. Astin, having dealt with the problems in Caprioni family, is headed to Nepreea to confront those responsible for the deaths of her family. I thought the author did a really good job of bringing everything together. There was conflict, mystery, action, explosions, death, murder and mayhem. The final showdown ended with a whimper and not a bang. In a lot of ways it was definitely appropriate for the amount of attention the bad guys deserved, but I was missing the bad guy soliloquy that justified everything.

There was also some amazing girl gang bonding. Ivy Foxx makes another appearance, she's a wonderful BFF, and we get more of her backstory. We also met THE WOLF aka Von, and her loyal guard Bear. These two are amazing women, and I'd love to get their stories in the future *wink, wink*.

Love & Power also has some excellent smut - one on one, and group. The dynamic between Astin and her guys is fabulous. All the guys help Astin in different way, and their relationships are unique and wonderful in their own way. Ryker did continue to aggravate me sometimes with his hang ups.

This was a wonderful ending to Astin's story, all the questions were answered, the good guy - well, as good as you can get in a mafia story - wins, and best of all, the author left the door open a crack to revisit this world and check back in with Astin.

Wow what an ending to that series. Astin is probably one of my all time favorite FMC. She starts strong but by the end actually shows even more strength. She grows from her trauma, she learns to trust, learns to love and that makes her a better mafia queen. This book was so well written. I loved how it showed the BFFs and Astin quick, analytical mind.

Atty- love him. I love how they added a non-neurotypical person to a book. I love how they showed his growth and love toward “Asta”
Hound- he’s amazing. Loved/stalked her for years. Tatted and pierced and authentic. What’s not to love?
Luca- he claimed her first by accepting her Darkness after fighting. He embraced her as Queen first with these acts and continues to love her. Who doesn’t love a breed kink?
Jace- throuple goals if I’ve ever seen any. Great Dom and love his love for Brax and how he easily embraces what he truly needs to feel complete.
Brax- he’s been one of my favorite the entire time and he never disappoints. He embraced what he needed from Mistress and she stepped up to the role. He’s fun and brings up the lighter side to Astin.
Ryker- really the only thing I liked about him was first love status. He really didn’t grow at all and was still a possessive jackass. I really wished we would have seen him involved in group play time.
Liu- he ended up being great! Love his little darker side coming out to play. He embraced what needed to happen to help Astin.

I love how it ended but is that really what the author should have picked for this bad ass Queen? A more fitting ending or epilogue would have been play time with ALL of them and Ralph making some wise ass crack from the hallway.

3.4⭐️3🌶️

Tbh I loved this series and it’s characters but I was a little disappointed with this book, it just felt less than the three previous ones, so for me this one was lacking.

I loved the development of Astin character but I kept wanting for her and her alter “darkness” to merge, as well as more moments with Darkness if the merge wasn’t going to happen.

I liked the MMC’s but I insist the time management wasn’t the best and some were just left to the background which made the relationship unbalanced.

Atty and Liu were my favorites and there definitely wasn’t enough time with them so I was left waiting.

The relationship between Ry and Astin felt unfinished for me and I forgot Luca and Hound more times than not.

The only relationships I think were really thought through were with Brax and Jace which were the more developed ones and explained.
I think that for me, that was main reason for me not loving this as much as I would have hoped.

In both the series and this book I was expecting to see some things which obviously didn’t happen so Im gonna share.

I kept waiting for Astin to speak all the lenguagues she was taught, for the MMC’s to really know the extent of the torture Astin went through, more of Astin in her unhinged state, more bloodshed if Im being honest, more secret planning and surprising everyone from Astin’s part and for more awe and admiration to Astin from the MMC’s because of her brains.

Nonetheless I really liked this series and would totally recommend.

Astin is back, as the ruthless queen of the Caprioni family. Luca's release has them flying across the ocean to Nepreea to meet her father and the Raffa family properly. There's no love lost in the beginning, as per usual with Astin and her men, but Grandfather Raffa has tricks up his sleeve, and always present, is the need and desire to take down the other two families causing problems. Elizabeth Knight has good pacing in her books, and I really enjoyed the way this one kept moving, even as it was wrapping up ends that might have become tedious. There is quite a bit of action, and I liked that Astin had the opportunity to solidify her relationships with everyone. Even Liu and Hound had a chance to "catch up" so to speak. In addition, we have a set of new characters as friends that were an absolute riot, and I'm strongly getting vibes of connecting stories at some point. The sort of mafia queen presence and ruthlessness you've come to expect is persistence, but it is tempered by the fact Astin is making a point, and cleaning the slate for a better future, which is why I wouldn't classify this as a true dark romance, even though the tropes and descriptions might indicate otherwise. It was a satisfying, and suddenly tear jerker finish in a good way, and I can't wait to see what else we may get from Nepreea.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "LOVE & POWER" OMG!!! What a phenominal mind-blowing conclusion full of revenge, intrigue, suspense, danger, steam, emotions, angst, secrets, betrayal, action, murder, mystery, mayhem, twists & surprise that make for one addicting read.
Astin Caprioni-Raffa Queen of the Mafia who was once all alone & is now surrounded by a mottly crew she calls family her two besties Von Zaccaro & Ivy Foxx are total bad*ss, then there's Ryker, Atticus, Luca, Braxton, Jace, Lie & Hound all trying to make their relationship work while dealing with their enemies, like the Accardi & Leoni family that will go down even if it means Astin goes down with them she wants her revenge.
I definitely recommend to get this riviting rollercoaster ride of full action, mystery, explosions, taking out the bad guys, all Austin's guys help her do what needs to done, all of them coming together their
relationships are changing for the better, things are about to get crazy dangerous for Austin & her harem, how will it all turn out its a must read to see what happens to everyone, phenominal riviting conclusion with these fantastic characters that pull you right into all the chaos.
EXCELLENT BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN CONCLUSION I LOVED IT 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤

phenomenal ending for this series

This is the final book of the series and it does not disappoint.I’ve actually read it twice now to ensure I took in all the little complexities that I glazed over the first time as I read it so fast as I just needed to know how it all ends.
Everything comes together in an explosive way.
Astin’s journey has been anything but smooth, with the loss of many close ‘family’ and never knowing who to trust/ who is backstabbing. We see new relationships- her newly found grandfather.
Steamy scenes by Elizabeth Knight never disappoint and this book they were as hot as ever - including/especially the crossed swords (MM).
Loved the ladies on this book, nothing is as sexy than a kick butt strong female/s. Combine these 3 and it makes for epic entertainment.
While I’m sad that this series has come to an end, that epilogue was perfection - loved this for Astin.
Hope to see these characters again, maybe a spin off -I can only hope xx thanks for yet another phenomenal series full with steam, action and amazing strong FMCs.

**also wanted to note that I was grateful for the family trees at the front of the book, was a great reminder of each family line.

I have been anxiously waiting for this last book in the series and what a phenomenal ending of the series this was. Asta has really grasped her reign as the Mafia Queen and it was good to see her getting to know her grandfather alongside discovering more about her Raffa heritage.

The last installment is captivating from start to finish. This action- driven plot throws you into the ruthless world of villains and their ongoing battle for dominance. Among all the trauma, hurdles and challenges, there is this strong connection that the FMC has build with the men in her life and through their support and devotion, Astin manages to open hear heart and create the very thing she craved.

I loved some of the side characters here, in particular Ivy and Von as they tend to share quite a few similar experience and through that a natural friendship seems to be blossoming between them and Astin.

Elizabeth Knight's writing is spectacular and she lured me in from the very first book. If you happen to enjoy a suspenseful plot, tenacious characters and emotional rollercoasters, then the series might be just the right fit.

All hail the Queen 👑✨

Astin shows everyone exactly *why* she is the head of the Caprioni Family and more in this finale. Get ready for a delicious read with strong females. Nothing like befriending female assasins and becoming BFF's. What's a little female bonding Darkness style 😉? Astin has come a long way since book one- no longer the lone wolf, she now has her own tribe, and loves. Told from multiple POVs, this why choose tale is filled with action, heat, more action, suspense, and a very unique new friendship not for the faint of heart lol. This Queen is about to rise....better run. I adore her friendship with Ivy Foxx, and we learn more backstory there. Here's hoping we may get spin-offs for both Ivy and Von- those girlies are just so much F U N, and Astin's BFF's deserve it don't cha think 😉❤. Watching as Astin truly found herself has been fun: becoming one with the Darkness, finding her loves, her tribe, family, and her true self, all while taking no prisoners. This adrenaline packed read definitely was well worth every moment!! I'm truly hoping we see these characters again in some form again! Two thumbs up indeed.

This series has been an absolutely wild ride from the beginning! Astin is a true mafia queen, not that I ever doubted her! She is tough and not afraid to get her hands dirty, she holds her head up high and keeps pushing through all the emotional pain she endures. The growth and character development we see from not only her, but her men is just awesome and really well done. I really enjoyed her individual relationships with each of her men, they were diverse and had a strong foundation that really added depth to all the characters. The plot of this series is just so good, its thick and full of twists and turns to keep you guessing, the drama and action and spice blends so well throughout the series, it keeps you on your toes, biting your nails at times! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and thought the ending was perfect for these characters! Well written and well paced, this series flows well and keeps you fully engaged the whole time! I am excited to see what we are treated with next!

Love can be a powerful and dangerous thing.

Heaven help anyone who dares to ignore my warning and fuck with the people I love. There will be no mercy from the Caprioni Queen.”

Standing ovation to one hell of an amazing book, and incredible ending to the series. Elizabeth Knight created a master peace with this mafia series. Astin and her guys will be in my top favorite mafia books for a long while.

I enjoyed the roller coaster this series took me through. So much bad ass goodness from Astin , the queen herself, not to even mention her guys being right beside her throughout it all. This book gave everything it was supposed to give, and I will be rereading this series for a long time to come.

I highly recommend this series. If you are looking for a bad ass heroine that is not afraid to kick ass and take names, this is the book for you. Oh, and lets not forget the scorching hot sex scenes. You are in for a ride!

We finally get the conclusion to this series and it is well worth it. We get the end of Astin's story and see just how strong she is along with how much people underestimate her since she’s a woman in a dangerous world. This one picks up where the previous story ended and we’ve got Luca back now it’s time to find where all the enemies are and deal with them. There’s a lot of action and suspense along with the beat. And there’s a good amount of humor to balance out the darkness. I am definitely very pleased with the ending and especially that epilogue. I enjoyed that not everything was wrapped up perfectly gives the chance we may get more stories in this world. And as always the spicy scenes were awesome and very hot. The story kept me guessing at times though there were a few things I do wish they’d figured out a bit faster but overall a fantastic ending to a great series that I’ve enjoyed.

Absolute perfection!! 5⭐️
Astin, her guys, and their circle are back right where we were left and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Astin (and the guys) have come so far with their relationships and have grown so much personally it’s exciting to see how well they mesh and how much they love each other. Definite 5🌶️ steam , including some unexpected happenings but completely delish.
Now, the story itself gave us a few new characters who I adored and I’m hoping I was picking up the potential for 2 spin off books or series because I would love their stories. I was happy with how Astin handled the families and that epilogue actually surprised me, in a good way.

Slight spoiler: My only wish is that the last one to fully commit could’ve proven it on page or stated if limits were still in place because now I’ll be incredibly curious about that situation.
