This novella was so fun and spooky and the SPICE 🥵 the writing was incredible. The descriptions of the bonfire and the woods gave such spooky vibe and I love it. The primal scenes were exciting and HOT. I’m so excited to read the next book to see where this story goes!!

Hunted Hearts has great potential, but would be awesome as a full-length novel. A dark sapphic romance, a possessive love interest, masks. Sign me up.

I haven’t ventured much into the sapphic side of dark romances, but I’ll have to explore more of it ‘cause damnnnn, does Harley seem sexy AF.
It’s a little too short to be special, but I still enjoyed it and I just might check out more from this author.

I was very excited to come across a sapphic Halloween spicy novella. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I will recommend it to people especially for spooky season and with it being so short, you can read it in a sitting, which is really really nice. I’ve definitely am wanting more sapphic stories. The spice was really good, but I also enjoyed the break up of it.

this was everything i have dreamed and hoped for. scream meets jennifer's body, if needy didn't have a boyfriend and cici finally got justice for her chase scene (the girls that get it, get it). cant wait for the sequel, i have a feeling it's going to be camp galore with my new favorite unhinged stalker.

With those trigger warnings, I was absolutely sold ont he book! Went right in and was surprised to find that it was FF to begin with... I'm not opposed to FF but would've been nice to know that beforehand if I'm honest 😅

And sadly, the book was a let down. With those trigger warnings, it seemed so promising and like an amazing quick and spicy halloween read... It wasn't 😪

In all honesty, it was boring more than anything. The smut wasn't great and it was easy to guess who the masked person was within the first few pages 😔

I know there isn't meant to be a plot but the few points that were there weren't great either if I'm honest.

Nice quick read to count towards my goal but I honestly wouldn't recommend it 🤷‍♀️

This was the quickest read I think I’ve ever done. I was excited for the TW and it being a Halloween novella but wow it was really meh. I’ve only read one other book about masked men and it was RH (which I’m not a huge fan of) so I was excited to hear about only one in a mask. I had 0 inkling it was a WLW (which I have no problem with, my first time reading that.. I was like ok ladies get it 😏👀) I just wish the author mentioned that? Like what?

Overall quick easy read I swear took me like 15 minutes idk I didn’t really pay attention. Don’t get me wrong I love a good stalker “romance” too.

Sorry not reading Harley’s POV when it comes out, also it’s pretty predictable once you get to a certain point 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seriously. It was great. Short and sweet, dirty and a little bit of crazy. I so thoroughly enjoyed it. Halloween bonfire, people in costume, a masked person watching from the side, ex's sister. The story was great for how little there was and the spice was fantastic. I'd take more in a heartbeat, looking forward to the next one.

It’s rushed plot and mostly smutty. Decent intro for the start of something more series wise.
Sapphic, had a bit of cat and mouse chase kink, breath test lay, mask play, degradation and praise combo.
Fun and nice one shot, nice to find something we have been getting a lot of in the hetero sense but finally coming to play in sapphic.
Girls can be sexy psychos too 😏

Look, as the author’s note says, you’re not picking this story up for the plot. This is all about the spice and vibes. And it is hot 🔥🥵

I enjoyed the initial interaction between Camryn and the masked figure. Who doesn’t love a knife wielding mysterious woman who’s willing to kill anyone who looks at you the wrong way (in a dark romance)? And damn did I love her. And her confidence to know exactly what Camryn’s body wanted? So hot. The spice was simply fantastic.

While it was easy to figure out who the masked figure was, that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the characters interactions. I want to know more about her. Truthfully, I just want more in general 😅

Overall, since this is only fifty-four pages, it’s a super quick read that is over way too soon. I need the next book in the series in my hands yesterday!

This novella took me about 40 minutes to read which makes it kind of hard to give it a review. For starters, it’s a sapphic dark romance which is right in my alley. I love the cat and mouse trope which is amazingly described rise in stars immediately.

The spice is incredible and it only took me about three pages to get really involved with the book. Since it’s so short I’m not really sure what else I have to say. I loved the different locations, situations and people. Even those who weren’t completely involved in the story. Besides that I truly didn’t have any clue about who the masked person could be. I wouldn’t say I was truly shocked, but I was at least surprised.

Since the ending of the novella made me realise I can’t wait to get Harley’s POV which in my opinion equals how well this story was told.
