He pushed me out of his car then drove off with my purse and phone. Jerk.
I push myself up from the dirt, dust myself off, then hoof it two miles to the dive bar on the edge of town. This mountain of a man shows me a little kindness, letting me use his phone, but when my friend gets there, it becomes clear she isn’t really my friend. This hulking man and I have one unforgettable night together, I try to push him from my mind, I try to move on, he is bad news… but then I get hurt. Guess who shows up to help?
The best night of my damn life, besides patching into the Souls, just walks out my door and out of my life. Or so I thought. Now, I am keeping her at my side trying to protect her from the men after her. Too bad for them I am far more dangerous than they are.
I am not letting this little wildcat get away from me this time, convincing her to stay proves a lot harder than I hoped.

Author's Note: DSMC has a brief crossover with The Mercenaries Series. You do not need to have read The Mercenaries Series to follow DSMC, however there are mentions of mercenaries in book 2, Goyle. If you want a fully dynamic read, consider reading Found, Fallen, Hero, Freed, Goyle, Flawed.
More of tamer side of MC story as far as the couple was concerned. They were very cute together. And the men of the MC were all good people. After they got together, they were both all in. The conflicts were all external after that. Only issue I had was the fmc was written like a mary sue.
What a storyline, strong FMC and badass bikers. Great read, fantastic story, very well written. If you like bikers, protective dads, family, strong fmc then this book is for you.
