I was soooo ready for this read, so Tussi and Yandi could get dealt with. But damn the deeds were handled so early in the book, I wondered what was left? However, I was pleasantly surprised at what we were offered in the remainder of the read; by way of enhancing the characters we have grown to love.
This crew of friends is tight, and ride hard for one another. After the dust settled, and the smoke cleared, these couples needed time to regroup and love on each other. Now, Cade……. I was not expecting that turn of events. But, in the end I believe she will be good for him. I loved Lexus’ growth. Cause Miss Thang had me giving her the 👀in the last two books with her behavior. She deserves the life that she is building now with her man.
Noah and Londen’s brotherhood is top tier! For Londen to approach Noah like that and offer himself up was real man ish!😍 I hope Infinity finds her one, and it looks like she is well on her way to that.
Enjoyed this read, but I know this is just the beginning. I have a strong suspicion that now that they are all now in Memphis, all the drama and ish will follow them there. But we shall see….. 👍👍👍
In the 4th installment of the Ode to Memphis series, finally- we see Tussi & Yandi get dealt with. Whew!! It was overdue but right on time. The couples continued to grow throughout the turmoil that came their way. I love Londen & Lei and this continued to prove why they are my favorites! But Noah & Mercedes really grew up, as well! One things for sure, these men will go to war for their women and I love that! This book had spice, romance, drama/plot twists; it truly captured my attention! I can’t wait to see what’s next in Rose Valley because there’s still so many things this crew can do and I am ready for it all! Also, Lexus definitely upgraded because Jerome wasn’t it! Hopefully Lexus & Cade are up next!! Awesome job on this series!
The story had so much to unpack in this one. Some of the points I needed to refresh the story with the previous one, but overall I got it. Nothing stood out or made me want to stop reading, even with the level of extra stuff going on. It was good to give closure to the ones who needed it in the end. Lexus and Cade making moves together wasn't the story I expected. And Lei and Londen need a conclusion for sure. Noah and Mercedes's story continuation will be dope, and I hope Infinity gets her happily ever after this time.
I just knew everything was going to come together in this book”finale installment” yet I was wrong. Tussi & Yandi were handled so early in the book, that everything else they were dealing with could have been concluded. I love that Cade & Lexus ended up together but what I won’t do is keep reading several installments when Leo & Londen’s storyline could have been wrapped up. Books 3 & 4 of this series were disappointing and I won’t be reading another one. I’m done.
This circle of friends created a bond that keeps growing stronger. The love between all the couples-Lei and Londen, Mercedes and Noah, Cade and Lexus, Jack and Nyxcin are all bound to each other and support each other through and through. This series was a great read.
In this book, I wasn’t expecting things with Tussi and Yandi to be handled so quickly. After all of that occurred, I was like “Well damn. What else can happen?” because we were still at the beginning of the book. Londen and Lei’s and Noah and Mercedes’ relationships seemed to be pretty established so to me there wasn’t really anything else to talk about aside from giving them their HEAs.
Girl now here go Cade entering the chat with his own POV. It was just too many POVs in one book throughout this series for me. The second book is the only book limited to the main characters’ POVs and maybe that’s why I was so engulfed in their story.
But back to Cade real quick. Something about him and Lexus starting something just didn’t sit right with me 🫤 I liked Infinity for him and I somewhat understand why B. Love didn’t put them together but Lexus?? Maybe it’s because I still don’t care for her character 🤷🏾♀️
Anyway, I was relieved at the end of the book when B. Love let us know this wasn’t the end of the series because I sholllllllll had questions about certain characters when I got to the end lol.
Am I going to read the remaining books to get these questions answered? Probably not. And if I do, it won’t be for a while. I’m so burnt out on the characters and there was so much going on in this series and then a somewhat new storyline with Cade started in this book…it was just a lot.
I really only read this much to see what happened with Noah and Mercedes because they were my favorite. While I did love me some Londen, I was way more invested in Noah and Mercedes’ storylines. If this series followed the usual format of one book per couple, I can’t say I would’ve read every book 😬
Dang it! Another cliffhanger 🤨🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️⁉️ …This series is exhilarating, but I’m still really confused (by The Memphis Series) even at the conclusion of “In the Heart of Memphis (Ode to Memphis - book 4)” 🧐. Similar to “Memphis Gangsta’s Pain Ode to Memphis - Book 3), However, I was frequently frustrated with Noah & Mercedes and their relationship indecisiveness; Also, there were too many new characters interjected into Memphis and or “Rose Valley Hill” for this town to be so small (incidentally, who the heck is Aaron?) into an already complex story. …and while I’m thinking of it, I still need the following persons identities revealed (purpose, motives, intent): the ** “secret society”, Da’Mir, Marcus/Hamilton, Jennifer/??? & where the heck is Regal/Steven? Hmmm, wasn’t Lucas & Jerome friends (Lexus’ ex)? …Well, I guess those two no longer matter now that Cade has staked his claim 🤭🤭. Also, what is the correlation between Aaron, Lucas and Jerome (& Lexus)? Thereafter, this Memphis madness has become more convoluted too 🤬😤‼️…Now four books into this series and I still have more questions than answers 😮💨🤨🤦🏾♀️⁉️…A great read, but I’m mystified by memphis!
I love the genuine love shown amongst this group of friends even though one was very envious at her own doing!!!...I said that Londan son's mom was being receive out the paternity of their son, she was fighting way to hard for him to not be listed on that birth certificate!!!... Noah and Londan are definitely true brother friends and I'm glad London didn't habe to lose his dad to prove his loyalty!!!... I was definitely rooting for Care because he did deserve a love of his own!!!...To love a woman you never felt worthy of was a difficult task...Can't wait to see happen with him rand Lexus!!!... I hope Lei gets the child/children she long for!!!...
I never thought I would say this about a B. Love book! I I didn’t care for this book. The climax happened way too fast. Like Yandi and Tussi situation got handled and it wasn’t even 50% of the book. I don’t like Lexus with Cade! If they get a spend off romance book not reading. I am also not reading Infinity and Hakeen story. Don’t care enough about Nyxin and Jake to read their story. I am done with this series but definitely not B. Love! She is a phenomenal storyteller. This one just didn’t hit for me. I’ll be back for the next series. I want to make clear the series overall was great just not this book.
I absolutely loved this series. This book brought everything full circle, but I am looking forward to reading about the other couples from this series, their lives of Memphis and the weddings that are going to take place. The brotherhood between Londen and Noah was so strong. Cade and Lexus’s was such an unlikely pair, but they definitely balanced each other out. Infinity lost out with that man. I was so glad when Yandi and Tussi was found and handled, but I wish that they had suffered more. This book was well written, flowed well and kept my attention.
B.Love you never disappoint. The men in this book are everything. Even though the drama ended soon. I love how each relationship was building after all the drama. I love Cade for Lexus. Infinity definitely missed out on a good man,but I hope she finds her happily ever after. Felicia is trifling and is only looking out for herself. Can't wait to see London with his son Landon. I truly enjoyed this series. Can't wait to see how Memphis does this crew.
Yandi and Tussi were so crazy they had to go permanently! Yandi really was obsessed with doing harm to her friends, even going as far as to cutting Infinity! Cade finally realized Lexus was his destiny sad but Infinity took too long to realize they could be! Lei, Londen, Mercedes and Noah came so far from where they began. In the end all's well that ends well! Loved it!
This is really ridiculous and this shit could of been wrapped up in this book The fact to have to wait for more finale is ridiculous. And why tf even start something with Cade and Infinity after ten years if you were just going to have him pursue shit with Lexus. I really don't want to see that mashup. I want Cade and Infinity together. That foul shit she said to Lei stuck and that bitch never apologized and tried to make it seem like being friends with them was an inconvenience. Lexus needed her ass whupped along with Yandi not her getting Lei's brother. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I’ve loved 1-3 of this series however, I found this to be a bit lackluster and I guess unnecessary. This basically tied up some loose ends but left a lot unanswered like what happed to Regal? Is she still alive? I really wanted a conclusion on London and his Son. I really wanted this book to wrap everything up and conclude the story line however I feel like the primary focus was on introducing Cade and Lexus as love interest.
Look y'all, I LOVE ALL THINGS WRITTEN BY THIS AUTHOR.🙌👏 She never disappoints and this was no different. The concept that brought these couples together was novel and very interesting. The letters that started it all were so sweet. I enjoyed revisiting all the couples. Great job and definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have enjoyed every story that follows this group. The relationships that they developed and the obstacles that they had to overcome were concluded or wrapped up nicely until next time...I can't wait for the spin offs for the other characters cause I am thoroughly invested in what happens....
Tussi and Yandi received their fate for all the damage they created. With them out the way, the crew was back at peace. Finally seeing Cade and Lexus be happy together was beautiful. They both deserved it. With everyone moving to Memphis and starting brand new, things will be so different. I can't wait to read about their futures. Awesome read!
This was an amazing book. Lei kind of got on my nerves when it came to Lexus. Like girrrrl, you took it too far. You can't get mad over someone opinion. Infinity waited to long all because she was confused on what she wants. I'ma loving Cade and Lexus together. Can't wait to see what's next for everyone
I love how the situation with Tussi and Yandi was handle! Londen found his voice when it came to his father! All of the couples were able to reach an understanding with one another as it related to each if their own situations! The men were a!one me, but they were also vulnerable and available to their ladies. I can't wait to read more of this Memphis series!
I really enjoyed this series. Enemies were handled, and the couples were able to move forward in their relationships. Friendships grew stronger, and brotherhood was tested while new relationships were being formed. In the end, I loved how these couples are about to embark on something new within their secret society.
The whole series is worth the read. Is this the end it can’t be there’s gotta be a storyline to continue their new life. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this one was good. Definitely something new for me to read. New plot, new storyline. Good writing B. Love!
Ending a chapter is necessary to receive blessing meant for you. Removing certain people from your circle is necessary to cleanse your soul from toxins in order to heal and restore.
This series was so epic. I love the couples and cannot wait until we get the next 3 couples. I love how these men love their women and how the women support these men. My heart felt warm reading these stories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So enjoyed reading this book. Yani was a friend no one should have to endure and shows how jealous people can be and still be in your space. So many new things came in this book and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Absolute FIYAH! 🔥 The way the friends and family protect and serve for their own is something spectacular to watch unfold. Very well done Author B. Love... Loved it❗💪🏾
This series was amazing , so if us give up on ever finding true love ,but true love still do exist and the bond is real. Thanks for sharing , don't keep us waiting too long for the rest.
I loved this series and B. Love's books. However, the ending of book 4 left me completely frustrated.... Where are or what are the names of the spinoffs for Nyxin & Jack, Infinity & Hakeen and Cade & Lexus?????
