Why settle for adequate when you can be first-rate? There is no shortage of ministers who desire to achieve excellence. But only a few dare to demand it of themselves. In this clear call for action, Kenneth Copeland shows how to turn that inner desire into a firm decision to be all that God has called you to be. No matter what area of God’s service you’re in, don’t stop short of these Six Steps to Excellence in Ministry.
Great teaching taught by one who experienced what he shares! Glory to God! Kenneth Copeland shares revelation, wisdom, and practical steps to follow, to experience favorable results by the Word and Spirit of God. By God's grace, I am thankful to God for being able to hear Bishop David Oyedepo mention this book. This was truly a great investment. Praise God.
This book is amazing. It is an easy read and founded on the truth of God's word. It definitely has caused me to evaluate where I am and apply the teachings. I would recommend this book to anyone in ministry.
Beautiful little book full of practical advice for men striving for excellence in God's service. You will find within the pages tons of wisdom and guide in such areas as committing oneself to a life of prayer, personal fellowship with God, staying humble and fasting.
Some of my favorite lines are:
"Do away with Spiritual junk food, put the Word of God first place in your life and allow it to strip away all the other things. It won't work while you sit and watch television day and night. Break that habit."
"If you publicize your spirituality, you will exchange the reward of God for a reward of men."
There are 6 chapters in this book if I remember correctly and I would take this book for an entire year and read one chapter a week...it was so beneficial at a time when I knew nothing about ministry and yet was traveling part-time to help in a ministry...as I read I felt my spirit grow and get stronger. The year of 1996 I grew so much in servant hood and I attribute it all to his book. Everyone in ministry should read this book at least once
This book has broken down your basic requirements for ministry. it was a simple plan to lay down your flesh. I found the strife portion most relative to the conflicts that have been plaguing my personal portion recently. I am pleased with the writing style. It was an easy book to read and understand. I recommend this book to anyone in ministry who wants to improve.
