West Coast Billionaires Saga #2

Miss Florist's Sweet Billionaire

Rate this book
Grace
I’m finally and officially the owner of the Wild Orchid, Estacada’s famous flower shop. But my mom is not quite ready to fully hand it over yet, so my dream of transforming it into a garden center will have to be put on hold. After all, I’m inexperienced and she knows best, right?
Wrong, but she’s not exactly a woman you can win an argument against. I’ve tried.

When the sexy-as-hell ex-bully Jack Keller shows up in our small town, however, an opportunity to get what I’ve always wanted presents itself to me. The sweet now-billionaire, whom I used to crush on in high school, and his sister want to build a medical facility for the research and treatment of paralysis. And my flower shop? It’s in the way, literally. So I decide to move it. If I help Jack and manage to relocate the Wild Orchid in the process, then that’s a win against my mom. If she budges once, she will budge twice, which means my dream of a garden center might not be that far off.
And if sparks fly between me and Jack as we work together to convince my parents to sell, well, that can’t be helped, can it? Even if it’s probably a bad idea considering mom and dad think he’s one of those evil corporation heirs who’s only here to line up his pockets with more money at the expense of our beloved Estacada.

Miss Florist’s Sweet Billionaire is a slow-burn small town romance between a sweet billionaire whose dream is to help his sister walk again and a passionate flower shop owner who wants to prove to her parents they don’t need to watch over her every step. This book is part of the West Coast Billionaires Saga but can be read as a standalone.

In this feel-good story, you can expect to find a sweet, goofy MMC, a snarky and equally goofy FMC, meddling parents, supportive siblings, food & flowers, steam, HEA, and just about the right amount of drama.

A very quick and easy read. This is a perfect book if you just want to wind down if you've read something intense or heavy because this book is very lighthearted and no drama at all (just the parents being hard headed but that's all).

I love how Grace knows what she wants and finally stood up for it when her parents were against her plans. She's kind-hearted and doesn't hold a grudge.

I was honestly worried that Jack might be the typical billionaire who enjoys one night stands or very standoffish but nope, he's the opposite. He's very supportive and warm.

I really love how this book have no heavy drama or love triangle. Really a simple read. There is also no spicy scene which I also appreciate from this book. I love the writing style of the author too.

🌸 Recieved a copy from the author but all thoughts and opinions are my own

Miss Florist’s sweet Billionaire by Bianca Rivers.

Yes, this is my first book of the author! I hope to read more of her novels.

I really enjoy dual POV (Grace and Jack) story narrative is a flowing I have never felt bored through out my read. It’s a slow burn just like a good wine! It’s a small town romance between a billionaire and a florist. In this book you can find drama, meddling parents and supportive siblings.

I’m a hopeless, idiotic romantic who feels delightful as soon as the characters find their HEAs.

Overall it’s a good and refreshing read for me.

I received an advance review digital copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Note: I’ll post the review on Goodreads once the book is available.

This book follows Grace & Jack's relationship. I enjoyed the characters a lot as both the MMC and FMC were quirky and genuine. Jack's sister and her story and strength was also a great part of this book. I loved the growth of the FMC and her fighting for what she wanted. I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author.

Have you ever fallen for a girl that you are trying to buy out her building?

In Miss Florist's Sweet Billionaire, we see the flowering relationship between Jack and Grace. Jack is a former bully, who is now repenting for his past. He owns JE Pharmaceutical and is a Scientist working towards creating a stem-cell treatment to help paralysis patients. When he moves back to the town he lived in during high school, with his sister, Emily. He finds himself bewitched by a florist. Grace has just taken over her family florist shop and is fighting to grow the business. So when her former bully and now super hot Jack asks her to sell her share in the building. Thus leading her on the long road of self-discovery and the budding romance between Jack and herself. Yet, when drama and challenge hits. Will they fight for their love or will they break due to the forbiddenness of their relationship?

This book was great! Covering the details of the guilt Jack feels about Emily's accident and the way Grace understands him is just *chef's kiss*

Both of the main characters are written beautifully. As well as the side characters. I loved the way we see the way their love bloom. The way Jack has grown since he bullied Grace, as well as during the book is amazing. Grace also standing up against her family was beautiful!

This is such a great read and I think everyone will love this book!

Thank you to Booksiren for this amazing ARC read!!!

This book was so cute! It took me a little bit to get into it at first especially since it was a slow burn, but I'm really glad I stuck around! I loved how each character had their own story to tell and that we got more than one POV.

The main characters are so cute and I loved how nervous they were around each other in the beginning. Sometimes slow burns can be agonizing but you really got to see the love blossom between the characters. Once I got into the story, I was IN it. I was yelling at Grace's parents through the kindle and was rooting for love from the start.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I wished we could have seen more of Grace and Jack's future at the end of the book, but maybe there's potential for more? Either way, I'm now a fan of Bianca Rivers and I will definitely be checking out her other books!

I liked the blurb of the story but I couldn't really get into the story. The FMC Grace was a 25-year-old woman still living with her parents and basically doing everything they wanted her to. The MMC Jack was also a character I couldn't really relate to. Also the problem they faced felt very constructed to me - SPOILER ALERT - he is mad that she didn't tell him that he used to bully her and doesn't believe her when she explains. They have a big falling out and after a few days he rethinks the whole thing and decides he was in the wrong. It just wasn't believable to me.

So while it seemed like a sweet story at first I'm sorry to say it just wasn't for me.

This was my 1st read by Bianca. You can read this one and fully understand everything without missing a beat even though it is the 2nd in the series. Honestly, I love books like this because then I will go back and read the other books and not have to worry about knowing a spoiler already.
This was a cute, quick read about Jack and Grace. They used to go to high school together but Jack doesn't remember Grace. But it goes into relationships with siblings and parents as well along with a few subjects that some may be uncomfortable talking about. Not a ton of spice in here - I know this matters to some either way. One of my favorite tropes is second chances and this one didn't disappoint with that.

This is just a simple ‘smalltown billionaire’ romance. Nothing big happens which is why I did not give it a high rating. The story towards the ending was promising but in the end it was all a bit clique with the happy ending and the big turning of events in favor of the protagonist.

Overall cute vibes and I loves the sister of Jack very much, similar to the bond she had with the main female which name I already forgot. She did not really leave any impact on me I think. I likes Jack but the fact that he ruined his shot with her and his stupidity annoyed me.

Some ups and downs along the way but it was a cute quick romance and the themes were there as they should. Therefore my rating is 3⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love so many things about this book. I’ll keep it to a couple of paragraphs instead of an essay.

Grace is great. I love the journey she goes on.

I love the disability representation. You don’t get paraplegia represented in your everyday romance novel, and it is written in such a brilliant way. Coming from experience, being the older sister of someone in wheelchair, the dynamic between Jake and his sister is spot on.

I love the different take on a billionaire. Jake isn’t your typical billionaire in business, he is a medical researcher first, trying to help his sister.

This book was great.

I’ll end it there before I go on too much.

I liked this book, I thought the story was lovely to read and the characters were written in a way that made them believable. The only thing that made me a bit apprehensive was how Jack's guilt over his sister's accident was handled. I didn't really like how he thinks his sister is "stuck in a wheelchair", because this is ableist. As a disabled person, it didn't sit well with me and even though his sister has a conversation with him about it, I wish it had been better explored.

But Jack and Grace were great together and I liked how Grace's relationship with her parents was written.

This was a pretty sweet read.

I liked Grace and Jack together, and I enjoyed their small-town, slowburn romance. The premise was quite promising, but to be honest, I was just a little disappointed. I couldn’t connect with the characters as much as I wanted, and the whole conflict between Grace and her parents felt really forced. The overall feel of the novel was good, but personally, it was a little too fluffy for me. Still, a fun read and lovely way to spend a couple afternoons.

Thank you Voracious Readers and Bianca Rivers for my copy! I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All above thoughts and opinions are my own.

Grace Anderson and Jack Keller actually have past history but he doesn’t remember her and Grace decides to let it go when they meet again for the first time in a five years.

Jack also wants to buy the space her flower shop occupies, but while Grace owns the flower shop she doesn’t own the building, her parents do, and her parents refuse to sell to Jack based on his previous bullying of her (in HS) and the incorrect assumption of what he wants to build.

Once Grace confronts her parents and stands on her own two feet, and Jack decides on an alternate path, do her parents finally come around.

There is a happy ending with a look in the future, and a proposal.

Miss. Florist’s Sweet Billionaire has a promising premise but suffers from some weak characterization. Grace is a small town florist who has just taken over the family business; Jack is a billionaire scientist looking for land to build a medical facility to house his research. They knew each other in their youth. The romantic chemistry is present, but light. The conflict is an issue but doesn’t seem dramatic enough. Overall, this was a pleasant read that would benefit from being fleshed out more. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a great sweet simple romance book. I thought the storyline and characters were great. It wasn’t a complicated storyline so very little drama. I did think the end wrapped up quickly but it wasn’t bad. I think I would recommend this book to someone if they wanted a simple romance book. I would read another book by this author.

There were some lovely touches in this but some plot devices that I personally found very frustrating. I felt the FMC Grace's relationship with her parents was really uncomfortable and then the issue that came up in her relationship with Jack - well, no spoilers, but I struggled!! So not my fave, sorry.

This book was okay. The story didn’t really hook and draw me in. It also didn’t feel very believable. I thought Grace had a lot more to be angry about then Jack. I also thought she had more options then she was allowing herself in the beginning since the business was technically hers.

Side note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review

I really enjoyed the book! A popular kid who bullied in the past turned into a man with a heart of gold in adulthood. He unknowingly meets up with past-nerdy girl who charms him immediately. It’s fun to see proof that he’s changed & their love interest grow. Mix in some parents who are a little too controlling (even in their daughter’s adulthood) & you’ve got the makings of a great story!

Sweet and funny

This well-written, funny, and sweet story is upbeat, heartwarming and meaningful. The plot and characters are well developed...even the steam and occasional swearing are tastefully crafted. Lovely!

A very cute and light romance! I can imagine Jack to be quite a hot guy and with brains! At the beginning, I already had a hunch on what the plot twist will be but I was greatly mistaken. I did not expect Trevor to be the villain AT ALL. It was awesome! I loved the ending!!! They're so adorable!!!

I liked it enough but it was kind of boring. The relationship was fast paced but not in a way that was believable to me. I liked how it ended though. They were kinda cute.

I definitely recommend this for quick, fun, light-hearted read. I caught myself smiling several times throughout my read-through, and as a good romance book always does, it did make me cry a little. I also was very frustrated, namely at the relationship between the FMC and her parents, but I don't really consider that a bad thing - it just means the writing brought even more emotions out of me. I usually like more steam in the romance novels I read, but I feel like the level here was appropriate for the characters.

The one star off is for the typos, grammatical errors, and at least one small discrepancy. Unfortunately these things can be distracting to me - it really just needs another edit.
