Doubly Bound

Sage Freeman is the oldest of the three Freeman sisters. She is a badass, feisty, sassy, confident curvy gal. She quits her job after her boss's nephew takes credit for her work. She also punches him in the nose when he will not let go of her. She and her sistets, Ginger and Anise, are headed to Moongate Island for their annual sister vacation.

Callan McGregor is an alpha dragon shifter and one of the heads of the Council of Triads. Landry Smith is an omega white liger shifter and the other head of the council. They made an agreement with a white magic witch coven to help their shifters to find their thirds/mates. They host a gathering of shifters at the island and the witches were supposed to send potential human mates.

As soon as they see Sage they know she is their mate. She boldly asks them "your room or mine" before they head to her suite and hook up. She is freaked out the next morning when she finds out they are shifters but eventually agrees to go to their home to get to know them. They have a confrontation with a black magic witch and Sage discovers she has changed. They declare their love and go to her home to meet her father.

The strength to lead
I am really loving this series! Each new book shines a star on a different sister and its fascinating to see their personalities mix so well with their males. I love that this book is focused on the eldest, otherwise known as the bossy sister, but when the author puts her in her element she sure does shine. Callan and Landry are the perfect mates for her and together the three of them can beat any bad guy, or girl as the situation calls for. The author did a fantastic job with this book and I can’t wait to see what happens next! I really hope she continues the series past the sisters, there are some supporting characters I would love to see get their HEA, Keeton I’m talking about you buddy. Regardless of what the author brings us next, I’m sure it’s going to be amazing!

hot fun

The second in a series but can be read as a stand alone if you havent ( yet ) read the first book. It is a complete story but finishes with a teaser for the third ( and I cant wait to read it ) With more mystery and intrigue that the first book , a very confident and sassy heroine that proves her strength even before she meets her mates the whole adventure is very much on her terms no matter how much her mates think they are in charge . A great read if you like strong and sassy females who dont take any nonsense from anyone and growly strong alpha males who will love their mate and protect her even from herself

Sage very deliberately quit her job, before punching the grabby dude in the nose - the one who had failed to accept NO as her response to his latest advances

A colleague from work had given her the information on the island getaway she and her two sisters were headed out on. Perhaps they should have read the fine print

Amazing and awful possibilities occur die to some witchly intervention.

Will the sisters enjoy more or suffer?

I just loved this story, honestly, i just loved the characters, Callan who was Alpha and Landry who was Omega. Both rule dominant shifters who are on the council. But its Sage, who makes me laugh, a tough female on the outside but inside just wants to be wanted.

Sage and her sisters go on holiday, however when they get there they see loads of gorgeous men, and it seems that Sage has managed to catch the attention
of Callan and Landry who know she is their mate. But after a night of loving and mating, she finds out the truth of who they are.

A exciting and hot story that is really a good book to read

This is the second book in this series. I would recommend reading the first book to know some of the background in this book. There is some slight drama and some (what I would call mild) steamy parts. Over all this was a good book and can't wait to find out what will happen to the youngest sister in the next series.

Sage is a little harder sell to what the Freeman sisters have found themselves in the middle of. Landry and Callan have their work cut out for them, as well as figuring out what happened. I love Sage's snarky, take charge personality. This is a fantastic book.

This was so much fun to read. The second story in this series of 3 sisters who unexpectedly find mates when their tropical vacation puts them at a resort full of attractive men looking for the same thing. The characters pull you into their lives and the story. Love it.

There is nothing wrong with this story per say, I just didn't find it quite as enjoyable as I thought I would. There wasn't a lot of depth to the characters or the story itself. It just glided along with no real feeling or detail to it. I just read the words, feeling detached and couldn't become engrossed in the story.

This is a fab continuation from book one and I'm really enjoying so much about this series. Of course, I love the steamy romance but there's also drama, suspense, danger, twists and love for these likeable characters. I can't wait for the next sister's story - and hopefully some more books for the side characters ;)

Smokin hot! Damn! Is all I can say! These sisters are straight up freaks! I thought Ginger was hot... Sage was really out there lol. It’s sad though, in the beginning of the book she let drop a few things about this Matthew fellow and I think to myself there’s no way a guy like that can mask his ways so she was completely stupid giving herself to him and continuously stupid being used and walked on. I am thoroughly glad Matthew got just desserts. With that being said since this was a ménage👉🏾👌🏾💋 book you know the chemistry had to be off the charts and Gorri-Sensei brought the heat! I think that flame reached center of the earth temperatures. Even more so than the first book and that book melted my iPads screen! 🥵🤒I can only imagine how Ani’s story will play out since she’s the trios self proclaimed really out there freaky sister. But you know we find out some things about Sage that the other sisters didn’t know and I was very shocked to learn. I won’t say what those things were here naturally but I was shocked nonetheless. Also something happened at the end of Gingers book that confirmed some things for me here in Sage’s book. So we have a bigger picture and more answers of how the female plays her role in the triads relationship. (Hint hint). Lots of revelations come out in this book and some plot twists are revealed which makes sense about things leading into book three. It makes me think about book threes plot being a trick and should be kind of ridiculous and easily defeated. Like just ignore it and kill the person ☠️👻that’s challenging Ani lol. But I’m just a simple bear. Although I think I said too much......maybe? Maybe not. You still have no idea what I’m talking about so there’s no spoilers there. You still have to read the whole book to have a clue then you will just agree with me 🤣. This series though so far has been superb. It’s been way too short though in my opinion. Did I mention we also meet a awesome Mountain lion shifter that will have a book soon? Look out for Keeton Grey! I can’t wait to read his book!! Yes, I am saying this with a straight face. 😂There’s an inside joke here for those that know me. Grab this series! The first book was Doubly Claimed! It was amazing! This was a fun book. I enjoyed Sage, Callan and Landy’s journey to mating. There were misunderstandings and assumptions. Sage is perfect for them; can they convince her that this is fate and to stay with them forever?

As the oldest of three sisters, Sage Freeman has been a building force for what feels like forever. But she quits her job the day before their annual vacation and so that no longer feels true. Nothing has gone right for her especially dating, and so she is doubly determined to enjoy this holiday. Silver dragon and alpha Callan McGregor and white liger omega Landry Smith are a triad pair and sit as the heads of the Council of Triads entrusted in helping all Alpha/Omega pairs to find their mates. Having run out of options among the eligible shifter females they announce at the council meeting that they are opening the search to include humans - what they never expected to happen was to meet their own match. But what will this pair do when they meet their own mate in a beautiful normal with a sassy mouth?

I enjoyed this story which had a great mixture of drama, crossed wires, danger and determination. I loved Sage and how feisty she was even though you could assume she was not (until the moment she quit her job when I cheered for her!). I loved the way that Callan and Landry were such a great pair and how well they worked together. I enjoyed the way they tried to do their best for everyone but prioritised their mate as well. I loved the way that Sage came into her own and proved that she was a very intelligent woman who could think clearly. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains MMF explicit sexual content.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The second book in the Twice Mated Tales series is about Sage, Landry and Callan. She is the oldest sister and had to step in as a mother figure at times. Her life seems to hit a major turning point just as they are all going on vacation. Sage does not tell the girls about her problems, she just wants to enjoy these few short days. Landry and Callan have set up this chance to help the pairs find their third. The Council has always been about making things better for them. They never expected to get their mate from the deal with the witches, but here Sage is. Between miscommunication and misunderstandings things go from heated to anger and betrayal all the way around. They have some things to get past to have a chance at happiness. Being mated and together are the only options which makes Sage feel backed into a corner. This story has more drama, betrayal and danger than the first one. I enjoyed chemistry between the characters and how the mating changed each of them. I am looking forward to Ani and her cowboys

I'm rapidly making my way through the Twice Mated Tales. Callan, with his Scottish brogue and his Alpha dragon side, is swoon-worthy. Landry makes a perfect book boyfriend. Sage is a wonderful Alpha (human) female as their third. I really enjoyed a female in a triad romance that didn't roll over for the Alphas but stood her ground in a strong, sane, non-emotional manner. Of the three books of the series, I think this is the best – which is unusual since most trilogies sag in the middle book.

The books of the trilogy each work fine as standalones or as a unit. The vignettes of all the manuscripts happen simultaneously – but, if you do read this face-paced erotica series, you should read it in order. If you just want one easy-to-read erotica, the second is the best.

I read book one in the SULTRY SHIFTER NIGHTS anthology and enjoyed it enough to want to read about the two other sisters.
Three sisters go on vacation but they don’t know they have been sent to a shifter resort/hotel whilst a triad convention is going on.
They are of course fated mates to three triads.
In book two we get answers but also more questions.
We also have the oldest sister Sage, being claimed as the mate of the ruling Heads of the Council of Triads.
Callan, an Alpha dragon and Landry, an Omega Liger of the triad, claim Sage, believing she has been informed about why she is on Moongate Island.
It is great to find out in this book why there seemed to be such a mix up. Some Dark witches have interfered in the mating deal for their own evil plans.
Sage, who is no shrinking Violet, as she proves at the beginning of the book, stands against the nasty witch in a unique way.
But trouble is on the horizon and book three needs to be read to find out more.
I liked these three characters and could understand Sage’s reaction.

Always read it before you buy it girl!

Ginger's sister Sage booked their vacay, but never bothered to read the brochures for the wonderful vacay to Moongate Island. Well Sage was all in with all the hotness around and she was taking full advantage of it. Her lady bits were all in too, especially with the 2 hunks looking at her ready to eat her up. They would make a great snack too. What she wasn't ready for was the growly, possessive males after getting sexed up by them.

The unique Alpha Silver Dragon and Omega White Liger Heads of Council of Triads never expected to meet their third at Moongate Island but there she was. This was supposed to be for other Triad Shifters to find their thirds not them. God help anyone trying to stop it now, they would be up against the most powerful beings on the Island unless it was Sage that is, and she was spitting mad right now.

Will Ginger be able to appease her older sister since she has accepted her wonderful fate with the Kodiac Triad?

Sage and her sister are having a vacation on the island, but there is something strange going on. So many hunky men are walking around and looking at them in strange ways. Her sister Ani finds her pair of mates and now Callan and Landry have found her. The shifters think that all the women there have been approved to be mated and know all about shifters, but suddenly they realize that Sage and her sisters do not know. Time to do some in depth talking and let all the secrets out.
The characters are strong and determined, with intense feelings and emotions. The storyline has plenty of surprises and twists, like the Black Witch and her plans. Loved how Sage pulled it all together at the end... literally. Now it looks like they have a sister to save, too. Great ending.

'Doubly Bound' by C.D. Gorri is her second book in the Twice Mated Tales series and tells the story between Sage, oldest of three sisters and always responsible, and Callan, a dragon shifter, and Landry, a Liger (Lion/Tiger) shifter, who are leaders of the Shifter Council. Sage and her sisters are going on vacation and end up at the same place as where the Shifter Council is meeting. Coincidence?

Ms. Gorri has written an intriguing and compelling story with fabulous characters. This book is full of twists and turns, drama, suspense, shifters, witches, and plenty of heat! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who likes a steamy, sexy read with an HEA.

Doubly Bound is the second book in the Twice Mated Tales series by C.D. Gorri.
Callan McGregor is an Alpha dragon shifter, Landry Smyth is an Omega white liger shifter and they are the heads of the Council of Triads. Humans have been invited to Moongate Island so see if any of them are fated mates for the bounded pairs of men that will make a number of triads once they find their third. If appears Callan and Landry may have found their fated mate in Sage. The trouble is that Sage has no idea there are shifters in the world, she just wants to enjoy her holiday with her sisters and maybe get out of her dating slump. I loved this book, wonderful characters, original story, it's a great read!

"Doubly Bound" is the second story in the series "Twice Mated Tales". It is a paranormal shifter read about sisters who are on a trip and end up finding their forever and fated mates. It is a fairly quick story that is sexy, fun, entertaining and interesting. Sage is the oldest of the three sisters and for the responsible one nothing seems to be going right or as it should be. Callan and Landry are heading to a meeting when they never anticipated finding the one that completes their trio. Such a good read. I cannot wait to read her sisters stories.

The second in this trilogy, dang......just as good as the first. I have to say, I related a bit more with Sage. She's a take charge and action kinda chic. (Even if she had a breakdown for a minute) Taking on a Triad is one thing, but Callan and Landry were both Alphas. Of course she nailed it! At the end of the day, she rocked her role. She will also settle these boys and make a huge impression on the Council. I loved every second of it. Ani and her 'cowboys', that should be fun. Thanks for another amazing read. I received an advanced copy and this is my honest opinion.

Book two in the Twice Mated Tales and it's is a good one.
We get sister Sage in this one with her two fated mates.
Sage never really enjoyed dating, things never turned out for her.
So she hopes this trip away with her sisters is going to be in her favor in that regard.
Well...
I would think a sexy dragon shifter along with his best friend could show a girl a good time right?
Landry and Callan can not believe their luck at finding their mate...
But can their mate believe in them?
