Intriguing premise but lacking a little in execution.
Ginger and her sisters get unknowingly swept up in some witchy matchmaking...though not much details was given about said witches.
Everything happened so fast, talk about insta-love with a clueless women. Misha and Ross are desperate to find their mate and when they do, they don't waste any time. The whole claiming thing was too fast and Ginger just went along with it....
One thing that really bugged me is how the author kept mentioning that Misha and Ross had

Boring
It's really not much of a story to review. 142 pages mostly on positions and not a storyline. Only got interesting at the last few pages of the book, and even that was ho-hum.

Ginger Freeman is a pre-school teacher. She loves her job, her kids, her family and really doesn’t like her boss. To put it nicely, he’s basically a jerk. The school year has ended and it’s time for her to go on vacation with her two sisters. Sage is the oldest and was the one who found Moongate Island. Anise is the youngest and just goes with the flow. Anyway, the sisters are so happy to finally get together and be on vacation. Ginger loves reading romance novels, especially paranormal ones that might involve some kinkiness. Little to the sisters know, they have arrived at the resort in time for a secret meeting of the Council of Triads.
So, the Council of Triads. All these different shifters have met on this island because they are all desperately looking for their thirds. They haven’t been able to find them in their packs/prides/groups and now are apparently going to try something new. Misha Orson is a Kodiak Bear Shifter and the Alpha along is there with his Omega, Constantine Ross, a Roosevelt Elk Shifter. The two of them really want, no need to find their third.All the shifters at the resort are going to attempt to find their thirds via regular humans. Huh. This should be interesting.
All right, Ms. Gorri has set up quite a story here. On one hand we have humans who have no idea shifters exist and just think a ménage is just a thing of fantasies. On the other hand we have shifters who are wary of mating with regular humans and who don’t have a problem having a mating bond ménage. This is an entertaining and interesting story. I enjoyed Ginger, Misha and Ross. I loved the little twists Ms. Gorri added to the story. I can’t wait to read the sister’s stories!

Loved this fated mate shifter romance. Who knew two men could have the same fated mate? Three sisters end up going to an island for their vacation not realizing it is run by shifters. This is a steamy and hot fun read, great characters and I loved it.

DNF 66% Edit!!
I couldn’t do it.
It was so juvenile, soooo incredibly repetitive, and so desperately in need of a solid editing.
I wasn’t expecting anything serious or solid, just wanted some silly, ‘adult’ fun that I could get lost in.. sigh.
If you cut out all the repetitions, all the ‘grrr’ (serious? 🫣), you’d be left with only half, to 1/3rd of a book.
At which point you could include some world building, and genuine character reactions.
Perhaps some adult conversations, and real seduction.
Strangely, I liked the idea of the FMC and her personality. It just got lost in all the repetition and focus on her obsession with a threesom, telling us she was a preschool teacher, and reminding us what her physical shape was. That pretty much summed up what we got to read about her.
The guys were very shallow, with stereotypical and juvenile ideas of a shifter.
We were constantly reminded about which was alpha, and the other omega.
But beyond being ‘told’ that the alpha needed help controlling his animal (huh, he’s alpha?), never saw any difference or distinction to the words…
Got over the whole reminder and justification that they weren’t gay, not that there’s anything wrong with that.. 🤣😂🤣
Adding insult to injury, all the telling, not showing, including skipping over important conversations.
Telling us after the fact what had been said, minus any emotional reactions or the details that make the story come to life.
I was skimming, skipping, and cringing, and still able to easily follow the story…
Yeah, this didn’t work for me. Maybe if I was 18 or younger?
More power and enjoyment to those who do enjoy. I just think this is for a much younger inclined audience, and would seriously benefit from a thorough edit.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Twice Mated Tales series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Ginger is one of the Freeman sisters who is on their way to their scheduled weekend in Moongate Island and she really needs this vacation after a year of teaching with a jerk for a principal. He made her feel self counscious about her weight or her curvy figure really she didn’t look like the others women and she needed this weekend to relax at the Moongate Resort. Misha (Kodak bear) and Ross (Roosevelt Elk) are sexy as all get out Alpha and Omega couple from Alaska and looking for that one who will complete their group. The council sent out an invite after arranging a coven witches to find human women who could be mate and the women are invited to spend the weekend at the resort. However, everything wasn’t explained to the women as it should have been but that hasn’t ever stopped a show especially when both Misha and Ross smell their mate and upon seeing her they know she is there everything. The chemistry is intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored will Ginger agree to complete them and can they find happiness?

He has been making her feel self-conscious of her curvy figure and he is also hinting that he may try to have her job eliminated. Ginger really needs this weekend to unwind. She is hoping to find someone to have a fling with or even better two someones. She loves the Moongate Resort and it seems full of hot men. Maybe this will be her dream vacation.

What they did not expect was to find their third in the hotel and that she is a beautiful human. They just have to convince her she is theirs, forever and always.
This was a sweet shifter and fated mate story which had a twist with some crossed wires and communication issues. I loved the way that Ginger was so feisty and let nothing stand in her way once she had accepted how everything needed to be. It was great to encounter someone who was so intelligent and needed that as well as the usual shifter violence in order to defeat any foes. Contains explicit MMF sexual content. This is the first book in the Twice Mated Tales series and it was a lot of fun to read. That means the other upcoming books are something to look forward to. This is the story of Ginger Freeman, Misha Orson and Constantine Ross. Ginger is a preschool teacher who is on a weekend getaway with her two sisters. Through miscommunication they are marked as being aware of shifters and open to joining a relationship. Unfortunately, none of that it true. Misha Orson is a Kodiak Bear Shifter and the Alpha of his multi-Shifter Clan on Kodiak Island. His Omega, Constantine Ross, a Roosevelt Elk Shifter, he oversees the health and safety of their small and tight knit community. They are desperately looking to find their mate and third. Misha and Constantine meet Ginger and know that she is theirs. They mark her as their mate. Ginger thinks she is walking on the wild side and spends the night with both of them. When reality comes crashing in, fireworks ensue. This is their story. This is a fun story that is easy to read. You will devour it in one sitting. Enjoy.

Ginger is happy to finally get to go on vacation with her sisters after her supervisors bullying at work and in the same place is an alpha and his omega for a secret meeting. Both are obviously destined to meet as Misha and Ross attend for the council of triads, not even aware they will find the third they seek.
Ginger is looking for carefree fun and maybe some male company... Will she be overwhelmed by what she actually gets?
Knowing that this redheaded beauty is theirs... Will they be able to keep her?
This was a funny read including a sassy, experimental female and the two males who fate has decided will complete her.
I loved the personalities of the three main characters and the storyline was original I thought.
I must praise the author for the unexpected surprise and the general joy I experiences from reading this.
This had me hooked from the beginning and with the satisfying ending, I can't wait to see the other sisters stories.

3.5 stars.
Three sisters go on vacation but they don’t know they have been sent to a shifter resort/hotel whilst a triad convention is going on.
They are of course fated mates to three triads.
I liked Ginger and how positive she is about herself. She is right that body image shaming is ridiculously prolific nowadays.
Interesting having an Elk shifter as one of the main characters, very different.
We don’t have much actual shifting happening except for Ginger to meet her new mates animals.
Fun having the Covid 19 safety factors that we are living with included.
Enjoyable but in need of decent Beta and proofreading. The same phrase was use four times within a few pages.
Thought is was naughty that the witches lied to the shifters about the human women knowing why they were there. No explanation is given but maybe in the other books.
I did enjoy this enough to get the two sisters books through Kindle Unlimited.
Cute that author Julia Mills is named in this book as she is the reason I picked up this anthology.

Ginger loved her life, loves her job with her students, could really do without her creepy boss, but what she can't wait for is her time with her sisters. The time to reconnect and recharge. This vacation she hopes to also live out her fantasy with two men, if she finds the men and courage to do so. Ross and Misha are a pair looking for their mate to complete their triad. But introducing normals into their business could be dangerous, they can't allow their existence to be known. But if the fates dictate they will try before their beast become feral. A romantic island, large handsome men, Ginger is swept up in the moment not knowing her life is forever changed. But her inner voice isn't balking and she may have found what she always needed. I so can't wait to read about the two other Freeman sister, I'm hooked.

Ginger and her two sisters are meeting on an island for a sisters weekend. Misha is a Kodiak Bear shifter and Ross is a Roosevelt Elk shifter, needing a third to lead the clan and protect each other. Without their third, their animals will turn them rogue. The three meet and she relaxes, getting to know them. Things skyrocket from there until they realize the next morning that she does not know what is really going on. Luckily, Ginger loved reading romance novels and had an idea in her mind about it.
The characters are heartwarming and centered, with great backstories. The storyline was almost like a game to find a mate, which works really well, even for her two sister... hopefully the next books? Loved how the shifters discussed their situation with Ginger and let her take the lead as things progressed at her pace. The telepathy played out just right. The ending was great and I can not wait to read more of this group.

Ms. Gorri is publishing a lot right now, and in this manuscript series, the characters and plots are not as well developed as in others. The erotica is primary, and though there are “villains” in the subplots of this series, the good vs. evil action happens mostly off screen and hardly has any weight to it.
But the story here is Ginger, a sweet redhead, and her two shifters, and their initial erotic relations. It's a quick read and enjoyable.
Editing comment: Skip the “spoiler” if editing issues aren't your thing. The story is sound and I didn't see any proofreading issues.

C. D. Gorri has an AMAZING writing style! I stopped in the middle of a scene at one point and was instantly able to pick it back up. I feel like there was a lot left to be desired in the story though. So many times there could have been some conflict but it was brushed past or easily accepted and the story continued on. When the final climactic scene did happen it just... it felt like it dropped. I wanted to love this book. I love the concept, I love how things were set up for the second book, but it just didn't do it for me. Beyond the lack of strife there was some repetition in some descriptions and other descriptions were just completely avoided. It left me wanting more. The writing was still so good, though, that I would definitely give C. D. Gorri a try again.

I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. It starts with Amy finishing up the school year so that she can go on her annual vacation with her sisters. They are going to a new place that they have been recommended to go to as special guests, having no idea that it is a paranormal hotel where humans are not normally allowed to stay or visit. In this case, a lot of human women have been unknowingly picked out because they might be mates to some of the triads that are missing their thirds. The character building was mixed. There is a fair amount of information about Amy and her sisters, but not really much about her mates. There are places where the plot skips time a bit which makes it not fully flow at times. Otherwise, a very nice romance.

Finishing up the school year preschool teacher Ginger looks forward to the weekend away with her two sister on Moongate Island. They are all flying in separately and meet up at the airport then head for the resort. The sisters find it awash with sexy hunks but first they head to the beach before the evening gathering. Misha and Ross the Alpha Omega pair of Kodiak Island find it hard to understand that the Council of Triads has arrange with the witches to bring human females to try and match with the pairs to form their Triads but then they see a beautiful redheads and know she is theirs.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The beginning of the Twice Mated Tales series starts out with the story of Ginger, Misha and Ross. They are mates who have come to Moongate Island for different reasons. She is a teacher, thinking about her future but needing a break in the worst way. Misha and Ross are the Alpha and Omega of their Alaskan clan of shifters. A Kodiak and an Elk shifter find that Ginger is their mate. There is miscommunication and misunderstandings which lead to life changing decisions for her. The book has its share of humor, steam, family, discord, drama and love. Looking forward to what comes next from the Council of Triads invitations.

Steamy, entertaining shifter book. This is the first book in the Twice Mated series. Misha and Ross are searching for their fated mate to complete their triad and travel to Moongate Island for a meeting only to find out that human females have been invited with hopes it will helpshifter triads find their mates. Without their mate they can't completely rule their clan. Ginger is at Moongate Island with her two sisters for a much needed vacation. The ladies are given bracelets but dont know what they're for, all the human females are suppose to be accepting of shifters and know exactly why they are there. Ginger, Misha and Ross connect but will Ginger accept the shifters and the matest bond?

Wow, first time with an Elk shifter. This story was one of the books. These two guys, one Kodiak Bear Shifter and the other a Roosevelt Elk Shifter. They need the one mate to make them complete. They were called to the council. She is there with her sisters for vacation. She has dreamt of having two men at one time. Then she sees them and they smell their mate, that is her. She is happy when they want to have her with them. With this newfound pair and now a trio will she go back to their pack or go on with her miserable job at home?

Cute shifter story!
Of course this is an insta-love paranormal book, and it reads like a pleasant "beach read". Liked the characters, liked the plot, the scenes changed to being in their cabin on the island, then I guess they were showering in the girl's suite when the older sister came in furious? And when did these three put on clothes? And why did she become a completely different shifter? Like I said- a beach read. Can't wait to read the other sister's stories! It looks like the youngest, Ani, is going to be with cowboys, but where will the oldest, Sage be? Hmmm, can't wait.

This is a well written paranormal romance with good characters. Ginger is on holiday with her two sisters when she meets Misha and Constantine. Misha is an alpha Kodiak Bear Shifter and Constantine his omega who is an Roosevelt Elk Shifter and are part of a triad looking for their third. They travel to Moongate Island for a secret meeting of the Council of Triads, but don't expect to meet their fated mate who happens to be Ginger. They just need to convince her to be with them forever.

This is such an amazing story before I knew it I was still awake at 1 am with only 20 minutes left in the book. I kept reading and now can't wait for the next book release. I love the relationship between the sisters as well as all the hot sexiness happening between Ginger, Misha, and Ross. Holy Hotness you all need to keep a fire extinguisher hand in case you set your Kindle on fire! You need this book in your life.

Just the right amount of bling
This book is the perfect foray into a touch of the forbidden! The author took the anthology by storm with dominant alpha males, even tempered omegas, snarky sassy mates and a vacation getaway that had me enthralled from the very beginning. I love the authors descriptions of the characters, I could imagine everything as if I was there, and I also enjoyed the overlapping journeys for the sisters and a hint of more books to come. This book is a quick read that was worth every minute of my time. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.
