Fiona Baker presents us with an unexpected love story in this fifth installment of Saltwater Sunsets. Charity Turner, owner of a popular coffee shop and a single mother, has a new neighbor, Dominic, who has moved to Whale Harbor from Boston with his daughter. People aren't always what they seem, and this small town works its magic on newcomers. I loved this romance and also thoroughly enjoyed some of the couples already highlighted in previous books. Darla and Rick tie the knot with a lot of help from their friends. The characters and plot are all terrific. I loved this book.
Change is hard but also good when it benefits the one you love. Dominic needed to make a big change for his daughter, Addie, after the sudden loss of her mother. Addie’s therapist suggested to Dominic that they make change to help Addie. Dominic decided that it would be best to move out of Boston.
He found a house in Whale Harbor, Rhode Island, but he wasn’t sure how he would survive in a small town. He would do anything for Addie though. Sometimes the things that you fear most turn out to be the best choice in the end.
Definitely swoon worthy!!!! Of course, having read the other books in the series, I love Darla and Rick. I was so happy for their wedding... But Charity and Dominic... They are my new faves... I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can see how things progress!
A fantastic group of characters your going to think of as friends and a community that feels like home. An uplifting story that your going to love and tell your friends , A must read. As always happy reading
Love can really make everyone brave, brave to face a new beginning, brave to handle a near disaster/problem. With love, one can be brave to make a decision that will lead to happy ending.
After reading the previous books in this Series, I was hoping one would bring Charity a great guy. This one did it. Even Mr Grumpy as he was known at first got to really enjoying his new move from the big city. Enjoyable.
Like most romance books girl and guy fall in love after 2 weeks. Then the story just ends so the reader has to get the next book or end up stranded on a beach. 😉
