About the author

Miles Rozak

Miles Rozak's got a blaster cannon tucked under his bed that he built with plans from a ship that cratered in his backyard.

As you can tell, his imagination's been cooking since an early age. At 18 months old, Mom says he'd draw pictures until falling asleep.

Age 6, he teared up watching Darth Vader's sacrifice in ROTJ.

A love for sci-fi blossomed soon after.

Like in junior high, when he wrote a screenplay involving a robot that upon filming, earned a call to police from the neighbors. (For the record, that gun was a prop.)

Decades later, not much has changed.

Except he's now focused on books (to avoid run-ins with the authorities).

Looking back, Miles credits his Mom for keeping him stocked with crayons, Dad for reading the greats aloud, Wife for input, Readers for motivation, and God for the creative spark.

Miles Rozak is an outstanding author of military space opera. His books are incredibly engaging, fun, and exciting to read.

In this third installment of Alien Ship for Sale, The Son Returns, the great moment we have been waiting for plays out with more riveting edge-of-your-pilot 's-chair action than would seem possible. Don't look for spoilers here; my lips are sealed. Suffice it to say that we have NOT reached the end of the series. While many questions are answered and many loose ends tied up, we don't have all the answers yet. Not about Ollie, Gage's son, not about Gage and Tess, not about the Entity, and not about Sarmonicus Pell. It sure seemed like they were... oh wait, no spoilers.

As we go through the book, waiting for the great moment when Gage can finally retrieve Oliver, his beloved son, there are so many life-threatening and life-altering roadblocks that it fairly boggles the mind. The next burning questions: Who lives? Who died? Can the Red Cycle be cured? Will the commonwealth survive? Does Gage become a centurion, or is he rejected?

That's what I love about this book: It is incredibly satisfying, one wild ride of an emotional roller coaster, and it still leaves me wanting more. While the book could stand alone and be very enjoyable, I recommend starting the series at book 1; it will be much more enjoyable if you read in order from the beginning. The story does not end on a cliffhanger; it leaves enough open storylines so that I am definitely getting the next book when it comes out in March. I can't wait.

Miles Rozak deserves to have this series ranked number one in several categories, as it has been. I'm a hard man to impress, and I can't get enough of this series. There is no question, but that he writes from the heart and from the reality of experiences he has lived through that he has wonderfully transferred into this story universe.

This is a must-read if you like space opera, space marines, military science fiction, and excellent storytelling. if I could give it six stars, I would.

I highly recommend this series and this author.

A rollicking adventure! If you like space opera, you’ll love this. It reminded me a little of the Stargate tv series. Gage finally finds a way into the Protectorate, to rescue his son. But there is the accompanying threat of the Owari and their plans to subdue humanity. This is a very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, but definitely isn’t the end! I couldn't put it down! I received a free copy, with no obligation

There is no way to put this series down. I have been captivated from the very first chapter of the first book, that doesn't happen very often.
