He was trained as an assassin, but Kit’s no murderer.

Son of a Lindumian noble, Kit has made peace with his fate as soulmate to Sudharain’s Prince Talal. Making peace with his home country is harder. Kit’s father arrives at court, demanding he stand trial for murder. Kit knows the claim is false. But if this plan doesn’t work, what else might Lindumia try in order to destroy him – and Sudharain?

As prince and heir, Talal was raised to always put Sudharain first. But that was before he met his soulmate. Now, he knows he’d burn down the world for the man he loves. He wants Kit’s home country to be an ally, but if they strike against his beloved soulmate he’ll show no mercy.

In book three of The Prince’s Soulmate series that began with Assassin, join our soulmates as they face Lindumian a$$holes (unfortunately, not limited to Kit's father). There's pirate shenanigans a-plenty, while the overly friendly prince of Sudharain's neighbour sets his cap at Talal (I'll leave you to conjecture how much luck he's likely to have worming between our soulmate pair!).

Best of the series so far!

To paraphrase the Princess Bride, “kidnapped by Pirates is good!” Yes, that’s how this book starts out, and it stays action packed through the whole story. There’s lots more shenanigans, pirates, more assassins, arranged marriages, and all sorts of fun. I definitely thought this was the best of the books in this series so far. Looking forward to reading book 4.

Mesmerizing third book in this enchanting and thrilling MM romantasy trilogy

Another sweeping epic love story for our favorite soulmates, Kit and Talal! The author hits her stride with their newest romantic adventure, which begins with Kit’s awful father pulling shenanigans and publicly shaming his own son with an eye to killing him, and court politics and intrigue messing with the path to justice till there's no obvious answer in sight. And there’s so much more!

What’s a soulmate to do when his love is accused of murder? Talal must sit back and watch Kit defend himself from a travesty of a charge, and even knowing his beloved won’t die doesn’t help when Kit is being tormented by his own family and the very culture ingrained in him that has warped his view of himself all his life.

But that’s just the beginning of this grand adventure, a twist-filled plot of betrayals and double crosses on the high seas and in foreign lands. If any two men can face it all and come through stronger, it’s Kit and Talal, and reading about them working in sync and finding new ways to appreciate each other and embrace their bond is ever so much fun. If these two ruled the world, it would be a far better, more just place.

Talal’s wonderful family have big parts to play as the story continues, including his incorrigible sister and heir and their spoiled brother (who has potential! no boring characters here!), and new guests from other lands fill out the cast in intriguing and twist-filled ways. What will the soulmates do when they find an unwelcome visitor in their bed? How will they respond when a pirate dares to steal what’s theirs to protect? Read and find out!

HEA, soulmates, court intrigues, royal shenanigans, nefarious plots and twists and turns…no cheating or emotional cheating, ever….vastly entertaining. Highly recommended, as is the series.

My thanks to the author for the ARC; this is my free and impartial opinion.

In Hostage, Book Three of The Prince’s Soulmate, finds Kit coming to grips with being Soulmate to Emir Talal. His home country, Lindumia, is not as accepting. Several rather vicious Lindumians, including his own father, have been sent to ensure Kit does not continue in his new life. Are they in for a few surprises!! Not only that, Talal and Kit find themselves at the mercy of pirates and a prince from another country with eyes on Talal.

There is so much action going on with several threads being woven into the plot. The two continue to find themselves complimenting each other and Kit discovers he can find other solutions besides violence. The two stumble on issues that they do not ignore and move to fix them. As a couple they are quite admirable. These two are really growing into a beautiful pair. The story is not over yet. There is more to come for these two who have been blessed. I highly recommend this series but to truly appreciate it, you must start at the beginning.

I love this series and this book rocked as Talil and his soulmate Kit are faced with danger at every turn. This is the third book in the series, and it has me ready for the next one. If you want adventure, love, found family and danger then this series is a must for you. Each story pulls you in and you read with bated breath to see how the bad guys are thwarted and the soulmates overcome every situation they face. Want to know what happens? Well then, I suggest you pick up the book and start reading since I will not spoil it for you. This is both a wonderful and sad story and it has me anticipating the next in series as their adventures continue and ultimately the bad guys get what they deserve. Do I recommend the book? Heck yea and the entire series as well! Be prepared to be sucked into another time and place where evil raises its head but love and truth conquer all!

Wonderful story, great world-building and strong characters. I loved this book, (#3 in the series, which should be read in order). Kit and Prince Talal are soulmates, but that doesn't mean it's smooth-sailing, and that everyone champions their union. Kit's father and countrymen are determined to see him killed, and that's just the beginning of the action and adventure. There are betrayals, political machination, treacherous family, and pirates. There is also a kind and generous family in the Prince's relations. It's like a tale of two families to compare Kit's and Talal's kin. And Kit and Talal are solid, even when another prince tries to nose in. Fascinating and engaging story-telling that you don't want to miss.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This is book three in an ongoing series, so it’s a very good idea, for context on the world and the characters who inhabit it, to start with book one. Kit and Talal once again have a lot on their plates…there are obstacles aplenty, action and intrigue and peril galore. The bond between the two is strong (as you might expect from a connection forged by fate and defying time and mortality, I suppose) and much needed, as there are few dull moments, but plenty of opportunities for adventure and danger. The stakes are high, the intrigue is real, and it’s easy to get sucked into the narrative and to want to see what will come next.

*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Assassin Kit and Prince Talal…United in their Soulbond…Their Blessing giving them dominion over death. Their love tying them together forever.

There’s a lot of action, dastardly plots, pirates, and bravery galore. Not to mention romance and swoon worthy leading men. The story keeps getting better. I feel the series should definitely be read in order. Wouldn’t want to miss any of the yumminess that is Kit and Talal.

Well written and enjoyable fun.

On goes the adventure that is Kit and Talal's life. In this book so many things happen: kidnapping, slave trade, rescue missions, inner-family politics, murder, more rescue missions, more murder... I had a blast. While the last book focused on the progression of the relationship, this one focuses on the storyline outside the relationship while the Soulmates are in the middle of everything, of course. It was more adventure than love story. The few times Kit and Talal were granted some alone time the author took a fade-to-black approach which I found a little irritating.

This series just continues to get better and better. Here, we see Kit and Talal having to deal with political fallout from their relationship in the form of Kit's father's accusations against him, plots by a neighboring prince to have Talal for himself for both personal reasons and to gain power, pirates and so many schemers that it's hard to know who to trust. Fortunately, these two have each other and their determination to stand together. Cannot wait to read the next book (what a great present to get right before Christmas), but am also sad to see this series reach its conclusion.

I did not know that ''Hostage'' was part of a series when I requested the Arc. However, I did not have any problems reading it as there is a summary of the previous books on the first pages.
It is a great adventure full of betrayal, conspiracy, and love.
I liked the idea of the soulmates and how they overcame all the hurdles their way. You can't miss this one if you are into adventure, pirates, and some romance.

He was trained as an assassin but he has never murdered anyone and his father tries to get him tried for murder. Meanwhile they are the prince who knows he is their soulmate and life is going to get complicated for them because of his father. How will they deal with it? Will he win against his father? How will it all end? See just how it will all go

This is another good addition to the series, it’s good to be back with Kit and Talal again book two focused on their relationship a lot whereas this book is more about the action packed story line which is just getting better, can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Fast-paced and well-written every part of this was good. the whole political miltary and diplomatic landscape is getting interesting, Kit and Talah are getting closer and are coming into their own identities and self-worth, and the action/adventure and new characters were great.

A lot happened in this book and it all happened really quickly. I wonder if I would have enjoyed it as much if I wasn’t already invested in the characters.
