Just when I think I have a favorite Reaper Reborn book, Miss Brooks ups the game with this book. Death Sentence is an emotional read but still has all that action goodness! My girl Jade is struggling with everything that’s been thrown at her. Add Cole into the mix and we have a par-tay! Nah but things do happen. Remember I said this is an emotional book? I mean that in the best way possible! I’m one of the very few…maybe the only one who isn’t gaga over Cole BUT he makes my girl Jade happy so he’s alright. I guess. Other characters make an appearance!! I love the vulnerability these characters have in this book. They feel like family and it makes me want to hug them all. I cried and laughed then cried some more. Such feels! Thank you Miss Brooks for giving us this book and a deeper look into what’s happening and what’s at stake for Jade. Thanks for that ending by the way, I’ll be bugging you to write the next one! I give this 5 stars.

The war is looming and our heroine needs allies, badly. And the only one she can turn to is our hero, who is as much a distraction as a help.
This is book five of the series. It works okay as a standalone, but the series is much more enjoyable if read in order.
This is an urban fantasy story. The story is very well written and easy to read, with a well detailed world that is fascinating to explore and gets more detailed with each book. The characters are also well developed and continue to grow through the series which is a big plus for me. I love our heroine, her strength and how she keeps on fighting, even when the odds look pretty bad. The plot is complex with some intrigue and lots of twists and turns. Overall, a highly enjoyable story and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Solid 4.5 star
I honestly don't know how Jade keeps it all together as her life has been a rollercoaster up to now and it isn't stopping any time soon with this book! There have been hints of a looming war and her pivotal role with it and things are heating up and boy did the inside of my mouth pay for how intense and nerve wracking things got, of course we had a good few laughs as well because well it's Jade and she makes you laugh at times even without trying. We get to see old friends and evil creatures as well as see those who will help her and those who won't, then the ending.... ugh your killing me and I can't wait for the next in the series and I really don't want it to end!!

Death Sentence by Harper A Brooks. What can I say about this? This author, and series, has had me from the first. And each new entry just gets better and better! She kept teasing me. Then she warned me. And then I finished it and was wiped! The emotional toll! All. The. Feels. And this one really has them all!!
The closer Jade, the Archangel in charge of Heavens Army, gets to her destiny, the more she realizes she can’t save everyone. And how does she pick and choose? Every one of her friends mean something to her. The only entity she’s willing to sacrifice is herself. But how many will fall with her?
Nonstop action, emotion and character development has been the watch words for this series, but never more than this entry. Ms. Brooks, you are killing me here!! But, glutton for punishment I am, I can’t wait for the next!!! Another full 5 stars. I can’t recommend this enough!

War is coming. The realms protection veils are pulling apart. Hell's monsters and demons are getting out and causing havoc. Jade had reunited with Cole asking him to help her get volunteers from the supernaturals to fight along with the angels. The war is only a rip away. Who will survive? Will Cole and Jade ever get together? What's next? I couldn't put this awesome book down. Waiting for the next book is going to be a torture.

Excellent
Jade fought like hell to become the archangel she was supposed to be. She passed the trials, was ripped out at the last minute, and received her sword. Michael said they had to fight hell on their own, but she knew they would lose. So...She went to the living plane for help. Cole is her go to person. With his help, she could find other supernatural brings to fight with the angels....or can she.
I love this book. It's full of action, intrigue and passion. Eli is her guardian and partner. But can he be more?? Who knows what will become of Kay and the rest of her living friends...
She goes in search of god. What happens next will surprise you.

This is the fifth book in this series, and I keep thinking that surely it can’t get better, but this one is the best yet. I don’t really want to spoil anything, but finally we have some sort of closure to a certain person. Nope, not gonna say what. Just be prepared to cry. Besides that, this was an engaging read with some high-stakes action leading to a huge cliffhanger. You will rage like I did wanting the next book. This was an excellent addition to the series, and if you love urban fantasy with some romance, you really need to give this series a try. Highly recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

SO good. Jade has one of the most authentic character arcs I've read. She's very much the same sassy, ridiculous woman from book one but the growth and determination is palpable. It's so invigorating to be able to see the circle form and truly feel that it's the right thing. Just like the rest of the series there are laughs, and cringes, action and sexy times. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of this series!

Again, this story line keeps getting better! This is a great Urban Fantasy with a touch of romance. This book is another good part of an action packed thrill ride that I loved.

Holy hell!! Literally..... Give me more please!!
Wow is all I have to say. Just wow!! I would not have seen any of the events of this book coming. This book is so far my favorite even with all the end of the world craziness. Loved it. I read this book in less than 1 day and will be starting the last book in the series right after I am finished with this review.
A big plus for this book, especially when compared to the other books in the series is the overall lack of grammatical errors. I think I only had to reread 1 sentence this time!! Which is by far the least amount of errors across the rest of the series. Yay Harper or editorial staff, you are definitely doing better with this!!
Can’t wait to read the next book and then other books by author.

My Goodness! This story is a lot of action, drama, suspense and tension. It is a stunning story that had me glued to it. I am a bit disappointed in Jade’s love interest as I had hoped for someone else. But lord this was good. We learn so much about Cole and his life in this one. We see characters that we haven’t seen in a while. I couldn’t put it down until I reached the end. Talk about one doozy of a cliffhanger. This is extremely well written and the characters are stunningly beautifully. The descriptions are vivid as they make you feel like you are part of the story. This is an absolute must read and by far it doesn’t disappoint.

I loved this book so much. I've been hooked since the beginning of this series, but this is my favorite so far!! I love Jade and Cole and this book felt completely different. The apocalypse, lots of personal revelations, and some spice. I finished it in a few hours and now I'm just waiting for the next one.

Jade is back with her friends in Fairport, after being able to break the deal with the original sin devil Monnie, she has a plan to rally the supernaturals to help in the fight with hell. Jade has fast become aware that the Angels are out numbered and don't have a ghost of a chance in the war. Going against Heaven and Archangel Michael, she has a plan to rally the supernaturals to help in the fight with hell. She goes to Cole to ask for his help. Cole says he has an in with a group of werewolves so Cole and Jade go on a rode trip to ask the Vampires and werewolves for help. At first the werewolves said no but when Hell's haflings come through a tear, Jade and Cole fight by their side, the Alpha Werewolf said they would fight with them. Back in Fairport. Cole and Jade take a night for themselves where Cole asks Jade if he has to use his demon power and he changes to please kill him so that hell does not get him, it take some convincing, Jade finally promises. In the morning Jade hears the bells that the war has started. Cole and Jade race to help, and Cole uses his demon powers to save Jade and he changes. Jade hesitates to do what he made her promises and he is pulled into hell as Jade goes to jump down to get to Cole, Eli her guardian stops her. When Jade finally acknowledges she loves Cole, Eli lets her go. Jade is in hell and oh no you will must read to see what happens. The cliffhanger has me looking for the next book, to see what happens!

I wish I could have gotten on board with the whole Cole thing, but not really. He just wasn't doing anything for me & the fact that she was ready to derail everything for his mediocrity was annoying. Jade herself honestly left a lot to be desired in this book. I would have liked to see more training for such a monumental event that she clearly is not prepared for, but that's hard to do when your constantly making googly eyes at a guy you literally know nothing about - dude has a whole separate family life smh. The fact that she really tried to make that stretch to compare some roach motel to the grand hotel Andre took her to had me rolling my eyes. Like girl I know you may be delirious since this dude just shot you lol. I may be being harsh because I hate the whole amnesia aspect and it's been grating on my nerves since the whole Monnie being and to miraculously snatch her out of Heaven twist.
It was nice to finally get to the whole Apocalypse event. Jade is as usual not doing that great during the main fight and getting her butt beat. So glad her friends are here. They was a last ditch effort to get me to like Cole, but I'm just not buying it. I'm not sure what comes next. If Jade can't even defeat 1 original sin demon I'm not sure how she is going to pull off taking on all of Hell.

I absolutely loved this book, but oh man, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Jade is back in the living world trying to get the supernatural’s to help with the upcoming battle between Heaven and Hell, and Cole decides to go along with her since he has contacts that will help. They drive to New York to get help from the werewolves which initially didn’t seem fruitful, but after the fight with the Halflings they agreed. Then they headed to Michigan to get the vampires there to help. While there, Cole and Jade finally discussed how they feel about each other, but with the upcoming war, they know it might not happen especially with the tenuous hold Cole currently has on his demon half.
The war finally starts and oh man… its starting to get brutal. But with the vampires, werewolves, the spirits, reapers, and angels, they just might have a good chance to make it thru it.
So much happens in this book, but the ending is making me bite my nails on wondering what will happen next!

Death Sentence is book 5 in the Reaper Reborn series. It is a critical and pivotal part of the series and lots of action. The characters are amazing specially Jade, Cole, Andre, Elijah, Kay, Lawrence and many others; this book kept me on my toes and it also picks up just after book 4 ends.
A War or Apocalypse is coming soon between Heaven and H*ll and Jade must prepare and rally her troupes so they can win. Cole steps in to help because he has lots of Supernatural connections and with his help they succeed.
Jade as we know is an Arc Angel with many skills.
Cole is a Halfling meaning 1/2 human 1nd 1/2 demon and he wants to stay human. he kind of reminds me of Thor with his blond hair.
Andre` is a Vampire and he has many feelings for Jade.
Kay is Jades best friend and a Medium and Necromancer of which she discovers in Christmas Spirits.
Elijah or Eli is Jades Guardian he is very protective over Jade.
So if you love Hot Vampires, Werewolves, Awesome Heroines, amazing battles then this book is for you.

After getting the info about upcoming apocalypse and assessing the odds of winning, Jade is dead set on recruiting more than just angels to the cause, going down to Earth trying to win supernaturals on her side... with Cole at her side. And while the recruiting process is definitely challenging, there isn't a greater challenge than the infuriating man by her side. Yet she cannot deny what her heart wants.. and with the upcoming doom, every moment can be precious.
Especially in this installment in the series I really enjoyed the relationship development. The two had it coming for a long while, and finally admitting what the reader knew all along was definitely a hallelujah moment (pun slightly intended). However there was enough drama, action packed fights, and plot twists to keep me on my toes, and now that hell has come to the surface and the emotional strain is reaching new peaks, I am looking forward to the grand finale.
Especially in this installment in the series I really enjoyed the relationship development. The two had it coming for a long while, and finally admitting what the reader knew all along was definitely a hallelujah moment (pun slightly intended). My favourite instalment so far i think! Jade decided to get more troops to fight the upcoming war and against her orders she goes into the living realms to find help... Thanks to her friends she gets contacts and beside wizards, vampires and ghosts she manages to recruits werewolves and other supe...but more importantly she is seeing a side of Cole she never imagined and that maks her falls even more for him
The battle is near, the stakes are highs but Jade is determined to protect her loved ones, trying to find the big boss to help is on her list as she realise more power will be needed but time is tickling...

Death Sentence was an intense read as we are nearing the point of the apocalypse! Jade has transformed into who she needs to be, but now she needs an army to get the job done. She first enlists help from Cole, the half demon who has stolen her heart. I loved seeing these two interact again. I am rooting for them! Cole is able to help her get the people needed to help her in this final fight, but will it be enough in the end? Book 5 was a great addition to the Reaper Reborn series with tons of page turning action and adventure with a nail biting ending. Can't wait to continue the story in book 6!

Harper brings us another brilliant book in the Reaper Reborn series!! We rejoin Jade as she comes back to earth to recruit backup for heaven's woefully under staffed armies in the quickly approaching Armageddon. Trying to get the help the help of the grumpy but sinfully sexy half demon, Cole, the vampires werewolves,specasters and spirits of all kinds to fight and try to stop it sweeping across the whole world, the time is quickly approaching. It's a tumultuous journey with surprises, twists and turns, you won't want to put it down! I loved reading this book and highly recommend the series! Don't miss out!!

death sentence….
Talk about a death sentence. Jade starts off in human world playing uno , if only things were that simple . She has to recruit people to help her with the impending war. Things get a little sad when cole makes Jade promise something that is so hard to do. Jade does recruit wolves and fae were involved but these suckers are feral. Chaos happens when jade heads heaven trumpets play to signal the start of the war. Cole sacrifices himself for Jade . I got in my feels here as Jade again hurts Eli . Then realizes she can go and fetch cole . With the fight ongoing I can’t wait to see what happens next.

It starts with UNO and ends with the apocalypse....?
The war draws near and I don't know how this series just keeps getting better. Jade's off her set course, as always (I mean, she's never been one to follow orders, right?) and takes off with none other than Cole Masters, with Eli having her back with her current bossman. The action is non-stop and she and Cole has to find out where they stand with each other. Naughty angels (well, angel), demons, witches, vampires, ghosts and now werewolves - this series has it all. Can't wait to see where the last book takes us!

OMG!!! I don’t know how the author does it but each of the series gets more intense and fascinating. Apocalypse is coming and Jade knows that the angels aren’t enough. She must gather more allies if they are going to have a chance at succeeding. But she will need the help of the one man she has been avoiding. Can they convince the others to join and in time? The story keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. Amazing characters with even some new ones. Filled with action and even some heat.

Death Sentence is the fifth book in the Reaper Reborn series and I highly recommend reading this from the beginning.
The end is near and the war is getting closer and closer. Jade must recruit allies to help stop the Lords of Hell.
I'm freaking loving this story!! Jade is an absolute rebel!! She's been my favorite from the very beginning. When she and Cole are together, I mean, sparks fly!! This is such a well written and exciting story! There's excellent growth and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of this series!!

Absolutely loving this series and following jade on her trials to become the archangel that she is and deal with the men in her life.
In this book we're following jade as she recruits others to help with the war with the help of cole the grumpy half demon, (secretly rooting for him and jade to get together with Andre aswell )
This series has had me hooked from book 1 and cannot wait to see how this series will end.
