This work, Volume II of The Secret Doctrine of the Gaon of Vilna, introduces the reader to the virtually unknown Kabbalah School of the Gaon of Vilna. This cosmology incorporates an ancient prophesy mandating a messianic interface between Kabbalah and science. The reader is taken on an exploration of the most challenging "secrets of secrets" to be found from among the entire corpus of the kabbalistic teachings of the Jewish the secret mission of Mashiach ben Yoseph (the Josephic Messiah) and the Twin Messiahs, the cosmic drama of the Sacred Serpent and its role in accelerating technology, the Feast of Leviathan and its higher dimensional “flesh”, and Metatron — Prince of the Presence — the ultimate key to unlocking the Gaon's Kabbalah system, specifically the doctrine of Kol HaTor, and for that matter, the entire Torah and the cosmos.
Volume II of this series focuses in greater detail on four aspects of esoteric mystical Judaism, those being the Josephic Messiah, the Sacred Serpent, Leviathan, and Metatron. Even reading these books one must turn to the actual Kabbalah and Torah for complete understanding. When I was a youth I pledged to read the Bible to find out if there was any truth to it. Unfortunately, that project was shelved for years until now, as this is the closest to any serious investigations I've gotten into recently, not to mention my preliminary forays into the ESV Bible. So far, conclusions are incomplete. The Jewish religions have claimed use of sacred DMT in their reality, but so have the Mexicans with their Ayahuasca so I also had to read up to check on that. Whether the neurotransmitter grants temporary access to Heaven or Hell is still inconclusive but that description can be as apt as any. With free will came sin and further ruminating on our beginnings suggests a redemption will clarify the debate all up, making any concerns about free will/determinism less confusing. No one knew who the Gra was or what he was doing or where he meant to take us. All that is clear is that he was supposedly a genius and interpreted the Bible/kabbalah in such a way as to have unlocked the secret ways in which to live in order to bring about the prophecy. This book just goes into a little detail about the more esoteric topics that he discussed, particularly in another book the Kol HaTor. These books also contain appendices explaining the funky cover art. In short, a few aspects of mainstream science are also important to the Jews and their religion, namely, Flatland, the split brain and polarized reality, quantum logic, the Mobius strip, and fractals and chaos. Understanding these could help understanding Kabbalah. Fairly interesting stuff but I'd only recommend to those wishing to brush up on some religious technique.
