This was such a good sequel! I really enjoyed this series! It was futuristic and exciting. It screamed Hunger Games. It was fast paced and really easy to read quick. I am in the middle of reading some very hard dark books and this was the perfect palette cleanser. I highly recommend this fun sequel.

Not a good as the first book but still a great story and answered most of the questions I had.

Not amused about the fact they switched Nate and Tim and they have a random romantic moment each. It wasn’t really needed and we probably could have gotten a romance scene with the actual couples that would have added to the story.

This was... Bad.

Like, really bad.

It read like a teenager with no real writing or storytelling experience wrote this.

The "teenage love" was so... stupid. And honestly really out of place.

There was never any real sense of urgency, I barely felt anything except bored and annoyed while I read this. I didn't care about the characters anymore and it felt a lot like no one had any real depth. I was 90% through when I was questioning how much longer I had to slog through and was surprised I was almost at the end. Did the climax happen? Was it about to? I guess at some point it did happen but... Really, who cares?

The first book was fun at least. I'm glad I read this through my library instead of buying it, and I kind of hate that I have a physical copy of the first one. Donation station.
