I'm actually going to call it. Trick Shot was the spiciest, filthiest and sweetest book I've read this year. Featuring a buxom heroine, a thicc hero and another naughty hero, don't read this in public! I mean I'm still tingling...

there were also a few too many typos in the writing which just kills my vibe when happens, so I guess this could use a bit more editing?

So consent just left the room. Which is funny because these two loved to "make sure" she was into whatever they were doing. When the very first thing they had done to her was lie and manipulate to get her where they wanted.

I honestly think if I could give this no stars I might.
I'm genuinely confused over the hype. For a start, he lied, immediately, about who he was. Then convinced his partner to also lie, and not once did he then correct said lie. So anything done under that lie, is potentially SA as consent very iffy.
Second, wtf would you go have sex with 2 strangers and agree to go bare? They're strangers! Who cares if they say they're clean, he's already lied about his name?!
And omg, the things she's doing for the first time like she's a bloody porn star. I got so so annoyed. The utter lack of proper anal prep. This was GIVINGGGG everything that needed to be gave. Christmas, MMF & SPICY AF. Before I got to chapter 16/17 I was definitely going to give this a solid 4 stars but then Leo does something that made me SICK. So I had to knock it down a star bc of Leo/ Lucas. Men that lie… TRIGGERED BITCH NO THX. The FMC should’ve ran for the hills after finding that shit out. But the smut…. Oh my god. The smut was top tier.

I had too much fun with this smexy, yet emotionally charged, Christmas novella!
Riley and Leo are stuck at the airport on Christmas Eve. Riley thinks Leo is his identical twin, who is a famous hockey player/TV star. Leo doesn’t correct her, but the chemistry between these two is evident. Things get more interesting when their flight is cancelled, and Leo invites Riley home for the night with him and his best friend/lover, Jace. Riley was a lucky woman cause she goes on to have the Christmas Eve of her smutty dreams!
What I loved just as much as the steamy times was the emotional connection between these three, particularly Jace and Leo. Those two clearly mean the world to each other, and Riley’s presence brings those overwhelming feelings of love to the surface for both of them. I never felt like Jace and Leo’s history overshadowed them as a trio. If anything, Riley brought out a softness in both of them that they didn’t even know they were missing.
I’ll definitely be checking out more of this author’s work. I love the body positivity because we don’t see nearly enough plus-size/curvy heroines in romance, so this was perfect!

I wanted to love this so much. All of the social media posting really got me invested in this before it came out so amazing marketing. BUT this fell flat for me. The spice is there, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't force myself to care about the mistaken identity trope - it felt unnecessary and inorganic. I was okay with this being a plotless holiday novella but the plot was too underdeveloped which led it to feeling forced. This tried balancing best of both worlds and it just couldn't given how short it was.

Та і загалом все розвивалося максимально неправдоподібно. Головна героїня за одну ніч отримала купу оргазмів від двох незайомців, сквіртанула і закохатися встигла (ну да, від стількох оргазмів, чому б і ні😂😂😂) А Лео і Джейс зрозуміли, що їм для повного щастя, тільки Райлі і не вистачає, хоча хімія між цими двома палала більше ніж між ними трьома.
Але можливо, я просто хочу знайти логіку там де її не повинно бути.
