love the series
I really love the series for many reasons. It has great character development, always brining in new characters, wonderful interpersonal relationships, new and exciting adventures filled with action & intrigue—keeping you on the edge of your seat at times. There are always new adventures & introduction to new alien characters. I have to admit that this book made me cry & I wish what happened, hadn’t & that’s all I can say about that because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. This one was also different than the other books in that I found several situations where I found myself highlighting a sentence or two because something about whatever was happening didn’t jive as well as it could have or simply didn’t makes sense to me, but that could just have been me & my crazy life because I found myself having to interrupt my reading a lot this time. Like I said though, that was a deviation from the norm for this author.
I look forward & even keep track of the date of each new release as I look forward to what will happen next & want to read it asap. 👍 This ending was a doozy so I’m really anxious to see what will happen & how they’ll get out of their latest predicament. If you haven’t read this series yet then you’re missing out on a good one. I would absolutely suggest starting at the beginning, otherwise you miss out on how it all begins and that’s a lot of intrigue in itself.. But, if you’re a person who happens to begin with, let’s say this book then you can do that because this author is good about referring to situations in the past and explaining or giving a quick synopsis so you won’t be lost. But I’ll also say that you would miss out on all of the stories so don’t be surprised when you want to go back and fill in the blanks so do yourself a favor and just start at the beginning. You won’t be sorry. 😉

Worth reading, but large sections of the book drag and need to be skipped. The first third of the book is weakest, along with the boring drawn out fight scene near the end
