Valen is a divination witch with a talent for tarot cards. His fated mate is one of the first witches. Together, they explore the world of souls and discover a way to bridge the living and the dead. This is the third book in the Libra Witch Series, but you don’t have to read the previous books to grasp the story, as each book is a standalone that focuses on a different couple 🥰

We follow the story of Valen, a divination witch with the power to summon spirits. While Cimmeria lives in the spirit realm and has been dead for a millennia. They are fated loves, determined by the god Khaos; but one alive the other dead. They are destined to form a heart song together; a soul-love bound ; but if they consummated their love it could cause a rift between worlds and mix both worlds in a catastrophic way. The author writes themes of life and death, spirits , body & soul and the cosmic union that threads it all together.

The story is full of magic and a lush worldbuilding (which at times I had a bit hard time to grasp). I also liked that the FMC was older and already a mom with 3 children.

👉What you can expect from the story:
✨Fated Mates
✨necromancy
✨older FMC
✨lush worldbuilding
✨slow burn romance

We love this series so. This series is set in the same world but each book is a stand alone with a diff set of main characters and each being a HEA. Book 3 was so good. And took a whole different turn on slow burn. They exist on different planes but they are each others heart song, or mate. And they fight to be able to have each other. It’s magical. Fun. Drama. She is a first witch and her powers, so cool. She lives amongst the constellations. They are both witches and their relationship is so swoon. If you love mystery, romance, magic and slow burn but HEA you will love this.

Valen is ready to risk literally everything for his heart song… except there’s one tiny issue—>Cimmeria’s been dead for five thousand years. 🙃 But when fate ties your souls together, not even the spirit realm can keep you apart. 🩶

This book gave me my new favorite couple! Valen (a divination witch) and Cimmeria (the first witch) are torn between their undeniable bond and the danger of letting their magic collide because, you know, potential universe-ending side effects 😬
The world of Libra just keeps expanding, and I swear I can see every place, every character. Also, The Taxidermist? Still creepy. Still fascinating. 👀

Add this one to your TBR if you love…
🖤 Fated mates
🔮 Tarot & portal magic
👻 Age gap romance
🌶️ Ghost spice (!!)
💘 Love stronger than death

I loved this series! I've been reading this one since the early stages and it's been awesome to see the unraveling and becoming of the Libra Witch! This is perfect for lovers of standalone books, magic, swoony romance, and happy endings.

The author gives us not one but 3 different couples to follow in each book. I have to say my absolute favorite was the 3rd book which follows Cimmeria and Valen. Very few times do we see a story of a ghost that has the chance of love and this one delivered that. I enjoyed the dynamic between Cimmeria and Valen! Another detail that hooked me from the start was the world building, the author has a great way of description and definitely immerses the readers as we dive in.

Things you will find in this series/books:

Slowburn romance
Necromancy
Witches
Protective MC
Strong world building
Dual POV (which I love!)

If you havent given The Libra Witch series a chance I totally recommend it! Perfect for the upcoming autumnal season. I am looking forward to new stories by Jung!

Huge thanks to the author for gifting me a copy. All opinions are my own.

“You are every dream I wanted and every desire I didn’t know I could have.”

As a huge fan of the Libra Witch Series, I can confidently say that Divine and Devour has by far exceeded all my expectations (and they were high). Mary E. Jung has created an addictive story with a unique world, fantastic characters, and a love story that defies realms.

Valen, despite his stubbornness, is one of the sweetest characters who will do absolutely anything to protect his heart song, Cimmeria. He would literally destroy the stars for her. His love for his heart song is so precious and the way he expresses his love is simply poetic. Cimmeria is super protective and cares deeply for Valen. Although she resides amongst the constellations, she is always there when Valen needs her. These two characters are absolutely perfect for one another.

The plot of this story was absolutely adorable. Valen and Cimmeria fight to save their heart song connection without destroying the world. Talk about a forbidden, slow-burn romance (anyone who knows me knows how much I love those two tropes). The side characters were incredible! I need the Taxidermist to have his own book immediately! I highly recommend reading this entire series, it’s so unique and just incredible.

🖤 Divine & Devour Review 🖤

Thank you so much to Mary E Jung for the opportunity to read and review this book!

Divine and Devour is a paranormal fantasy romance and book three in the Libra Witch series. A fated mate is the greatest gift one can receive, especially for a witch as they can enhance magic. Valen has found his fated one, but there’s just one problem…Cimmeria is dead…and being mated to a soul presents many problems

This was such a fun read. Valen was an interesting character and i enjoyed his growth in this story. His relationship with Cimmeria was so engaging and I really enjoyed their relationship. This is a fun world and I really like the magic system

Overall this was a fun five star read! This was a fun story and I really liked the dynamics between the main characters. This book has some potential trim, so please check if you’re sensitive. This story was a bit of a slow burn, but had some good spicy moments once it got going so overall three for spice

If you’re a fan of fantasy romance with friends to lovers, fated mates and engaging magic, then absolutely pick this one up! Even though this can be read as a standalone, I’d recommend reading them in order to get the most out of the shared world and cameos.

I was provided an ARC of this title for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Valen is alive, Cimmeria not so much. The problem with this fact? The two are each others heart song, fated to be the others perfect pair in every way. Because they exist on different planes, their interactions up to the events of the book have taken place under rather limited conditions and circumstances. Cimmeria is a first-witch, whose magical energy is largely tied to the universe, and to enact the final rite of the heart-song ritual and complete the bond could have detrimental and catastrophic consequences for the world egg at large.

The two witches have tired of fighting their longing for one another, that they may finally be together on the physical plane, and this very intriguing, insanely unique and magically vivid tale was largely their journey toward that desired end, and the obstacles they must face along the way.

I thoroughly enjoyed this third standalone in Mary E. Jung’s Libra Witch series!

This story ripped me open in the most beautiful way. Valen and Cimmeria are fated mates, soul‑deep bound to each other, yet separated by the cruelest divide—life and death itself.

Their love is undeniable, a heart‑song echoing across worlds, but every step they take toward each other costs them something: faith, rules, safety… sometimes even hope. Watching them reach across that impossible distance had me aching, because you can feel how different they are now—one rooted in the living, one bound to the spirit realm—and how those differences threaten to tear them apart.

And yet… they hold on. Fiercely. Tenderly. Recklessly. Valen’s devotion—his refusal to let the laws of gods or death itself stop him—made me want to weep. Cimmeria’s quiet courage, her willingness to risk eternity just to feel alive in his arms again, is unforgettable.

The result is a love story that hurts as much as it heals, brimming with longing, sacrifice, and the kind of devotion that burns brighter than death itself. If you want a romance that claws into your chest and stays there, this is it.

I love this series so much! Each book follow different characters, but they make appearances as the series progresses. They can totally be read as standalones, though.

This book follows Valen and Cimmeria's story, and, like the others, is full of adventures, action and magic, with a little bit of spice.

Valen is a character much different from what I'm used to read about. Still very connected to his parents (like I am with mine), he will do anything to ensure his heart song has everything she needs. He will show courage and strength in the most adorable and loving way.

I really love Mary E Jung's writing, and i can't wait to discover what she'll write next.

Many thanks to the author for the complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Super enjoyed this sequel from Mary E. Jung - Divine and Devour is book 3 in a set of standalones entitled the Libra Witch series! Each book focuses on a different couple, each with their own happily ever after, so there is no need to read them in order-you can binge this one immediately (as you should)!!

I was so honored to share a cosplay of the FMC, Cimmeria! She's a ghost, but Valen sees her as she was alive: a primal witch Their love story is so swoonworthy and l'm just so excited I discovered this series and get to experience these characters.

I love this author's style so very much and highly recommend for fans of adult paranormal romantasy!!

What to Expect:
- Dual POV Chapters
- Slowburn Romance
- Forbidden Love
- Fated Mates
- Witches + Ghosts
- Touch Her and
- Mystery and Magic

Thank you so much to the author for sending me a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts and opinions expressed above are entirely my own.

“I want you more than I want anything in this world or the spirit realm, and it would not stop at a mere brush of my hands or lips.”

This book was soooo good, just like the other two! Vallen and Cim were so cute together omg. I loved their banter and the adventure it took to reach their happily ever after. I love how each book gets progressively spicy. This one was HOT 🔥🔥🔥 You also learn more about Libra with every book. I really enjoyed learning about the spirit realm and the tarot cards because they were so cool! Learning about the different types of witches is one of my favorite parts of this series! I was also so excited to see the return of some of the other characters like Noble, Xephriel, and Amé. I can't wait for the next book!

A spicy paranormal romance.

Ghosts, witches, constellations, and a creepy taxidermist collide in Divine and Devour! With interesting characters, unique abilities, and a healthy dose of spice, this book kept me invested. Perfect read for the spooky season.

Divine and Devour is part of the Libra Witch series, but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone.

Tropes include: Forbidden love, fated mates, with strong touch her and die elements

if you haven’t read the Libra Witch series before reading this then I personally suggest it but you can read this as a standalone!

One of my favorites tropes is fated mates and it is presented so well through this story. A spicy, paranormal fantasy with witches and ghosts! One of my favorite things about this series is how vivid the details of each scene has been throughout the series. You feel like you’re in the book.

This is truly a unique story with magic, adventure, and fun characters!

I didn't connect with Valen or Cimmeria as much as I did the main characters of the first two books, but I did really enjoy their story. I also really loved the continued expansion of the magic system and the characters from the first two books that played a part in this one. I'm excited to see what the author gives us next!

I think this might have been my favorite book in this trilogy so far. Two incredibly powerful witches, fated mates, separated by death when they meet for the first time. Their struggles seem so insurmountable, and then they have to also deal with the two villain who's the most powerful witch anyone has seen. I really love the magic system in this series. And obviously adore the spinoff monster series. I cannot recommend this author more highly. There's something for everyone to love.

I love this world that Mary created, and this story was so different and fun!
Valen is a divination witch with a problem: he’s been blessed with a heart song, his fated mate, but there’s an issue: Cimmeria has been dead for five thousand years. The two know that Khaos doesn’t make mistakes when it comes to heart songs, but they also know that fully joining their magic in every way could have great consequences for their entire world. A soul can’t be brought back to life, and they can’t complete their bond otherwise. They’re going to need a lot of help from some powerful witches to make this happen, and they’re even willing to go to a nefarious source to get it (IYKYK!!!)
The closer the two become, the harder it is to resist each other. They’re feel like their going in circles to find a solution, until and unlikely source thinks it just might be possible.
We also get to see some of our old friends in this book, including my very eccentric favorite witch!
Thank you to Mary for the arc!

Two witchy soulmates work to find a way to be together and not rip the fabric of the universe.

This magic world was a lot of fun to experience. I found myself questioning what type of witch I would want to be in this world (no longer a healing witch after this one lol). I loved the recurring characters from the previous two books and especially love the eccentric Noble.
