Mandeep S. Jalota is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of the 2013 batch who is currently serving as the Joint Commissioner of GST, Mumbai. He graduated with a degree in computer sciences.

Mandeep has struggled with depression and anxiety for much of his life, but he successfully managed to come out of it on his own. Since then, he has been dedicating his time to helping people who struggle with depression, anxiety, obsessive–compulsive disorder and other mental health issues.

Through his writing, the author hopes to help others break free from the darkness of depression and anxiety, find courage and heal. His book is a valuable resource for anyone struggling with depression.

When I finally got the chance to read one of his works, I had high hopes for it. I can say with absolute certainty that my expectations were exceeded, and I had absolutely no cause for complaint. With a deft hand, Shashi Tharoor and Joseph Zacharias have assembled over 200 aphorisms that witty and wisely combine.

This collection demonstrates their astute ability to curate perceptive and humorous observations, making it an engrossing read. We often hear people saying if a person is sensitive than that one things and uses the heart way to often.
But in reality,it's only one's mind that makes changes in one's outlook.
The heart is just meant to pump blood,nothing else.

Emphasising on the latter,the author has tried his level best to give a detailed and eloborative outlook on how one's mind can changes one's perception about life.
And if not taken into proper account,it may lead to depression,which is becoming a common problem in recent times.
