No, you don't understand, I'm OBSESSED with this trilogy.
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be in love with a series about a spider romance. I'm not even going to lie, I started reading the series as a joke and was genuinely so surprised by how amazingly it turned out. It was so much much developed than I would have expected, and paid attention to details in a way that I didn't know that I needed.
From the very beginning I was weirdly hooked into the story, and just fell absolutely in love with these characters: my man Ketahn had absolutely NO RIGHT to be that spicy 😩😩.
I mean I genuinely do hate spiders, so I was definitely weirded out at times, but there was just something about TR's writing that just got me so unnecessarily invested in the story. I just chose to overlook everything and have just accepted it all.
With this book in particular, it focused a lot more on the world-building and sort of 'politics' within the story, which was simultaneously really interesting yet weird to see? I was definitely confused with specific parts, but it overall was just so exciting, and more action-packed than I would've expected.
One thing that I liked about the series as a whole was how balanced it was- there wasn't too much of one specific thing that made the story feel boring for me, it was always changing and so full of drama and action which I found worked really nicely.
I really loved the characters in this story. I'm actually really impressed by how much the different relationships and characters developed- there was some great banter and different scenes- which I definitely had a lot of fun with. There was a great balance of characters that complimented each other so nicely, and made everything so much more enjoyable to read about. Ivy and Kethan in particular really won my heart over- they're such an unlikely couple, but they work so well together and really made me feel unnecessarily single and alone 🥲🔪.
Anyways, this for me was just an amazing conclusion to the trilogy. It was exactly what I was hoping for, and was such an unusual, yet fun ending to Ketahn and Ivy's story. I can't wait to read more about the other side characters (trust me I'll be waiting), and am definitely going to check out more by TR- for my first read by them I need more 🤚.

True strength was found not in muscle and bone, but in hearts and spirit. True strength was in staring at a world so much larger than oneself, a world determined to crush you, and fighting on even when there seemed to be no hope of success.
Are such an excellent series to re-read. I am so ready for The Weaver, the next in the series!

I absolutely loved how these two groups came together. The raw emotions and vulnerability shown from Ketahn’s friends and sister were so beautifully written. And that scene at the river was utter hilarity, the things men and women choose to discuss doesn’t change whether a human or a Vrix.
“I cannot imagine my stem swinging freely all the time,” said Urkot. “That does not seem safe or comfortable. Does it not hit their legs as they walk?”
As with the last two books in the series, there are some incredibly touching, and smokin hot scenes between Ketahn and Ivy. Like set my kindle on FIRE scenes.
As much as I loved 95% of this book, the ending was a little disappointing. It was very ‘Hollywood.' This series that has blown me away with its world building, and the deep soul connection between these characters. To have ended in such a cheesy way was a bit of a letdown.
I was thrilled to hear that there will be more books in this world! Rekosh, Urkot, and Telok will be getting their own stories. I cannot wait to see what these authors create next!

This was so freaking wonderful. I adored this trilogy. I can't believe how much I loved this freaking Spider Man and his sweet mate.
I absolutely cannot wait for the other vrix to get their stories. This may be one of my favorite alien romance series ever.
Even if Spider's freak you out... as they do to me, I really recommend this series. It gave me ALL the feels.
Also, this finale to this trilogy was so wonderful. Ugh!!

Initial thoughts (12/25/2021): This was so cute <3. A perfect ending though I did want a little more relationship development for the side vrixs -Urkok and Rekosh. I was SUPER happy that Full review to come and check out this series if you haven't. Don't be afraid that they are too much like spiders I barely noticed.
Final Review (1/29/2022): This is officially the first series that I have reviewed from start to finish. So yay for finishing things. As my other reviews and updates reflect, I’ve been slumping on my writing of reviews. I wanted to get this review right because I have loved a ton of the series by Tiffany Roberts and was super in love with this book when I finished. That being said, in the month since I have read it, it has kind of lost it’s perfection. Sometimes, stewing on something doesn’t help clarify so take this review with a grain of salt. It’s still a 4 star for sure!
The writing began to feel repetitive and at times filler. I noticed something would happen and we would see Ketahn perspective or summary of what happened and do the same with Ivy . I am not a person who enjoys going back and reading the same story from the other person’s perspective. There is a reason I never read Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer. I think it up to an author to choose the best character perspective to tell the story and not repeat. Not to say I don’t enjoy multiple PoVs because I adore them.
One final negative, I kind of went over in my initial thoughts is that I wanted to see what happened with Urkot , Telok and Rekosh . What happened with their romances with Ivy’s fellow human woman? I don’t know if there is enough narrative meat left on the bone after this series for a spin off for either of those characters into a full book so it would have been nice to see if those three got HEA. But hey spinoffs have worked before when I thought they wouldn’t so I would still pick those books up. Maybe they could have been Ketahn & Ivy’s baby’s godparents? Also the baby sounds pretty weird. It was kinda interesting that the authors chose to emphaze the dominance of vrix genes because a lot of alien romances the baby’s from the extraterrestrial pairs might as well be human with weird colored skin or extra arms.
Honestly my initial thoughts were on point for this book… so for positives look there because it is the first thing you’ll see. But I gotta say it again… I AM SO HAPPY There were some super sexy scenes between Ketahn and Ivy in this one. But let’s be honest, you are considering book 3 Tiffany Roberts has already made you come to terms with the spider thing.
Try this series, you might like it!

This was hands-down the best one of the series, everything coming together in a hearts-pounding finale that had me on the edge of my seat for almost the entire time. The banter, the character growth and interactions, the world-building, the sweet, unwavering love between the two leads . . . absolutely wonderful. Still impossible to shake that these are like alien-alien alien's in here that are very, very spider-like BUT their personalities and culture mostly erase that. Can't wait for the other's stories!

I loved the first and second book in this series, but the third installment was oddly boring. Yes there were battles and politics and way more action and…yep. I’m gonna say it: that shit bored me.
I was BORED, I tell you.
I feel sad typing it out because I was giddily surprised at loving the first book, then the second book had my heart in my chest both excited and angry and feeling a little bit tortured by the cliffhanger. And then this book.
Something felt off about the characters and Ivy and Katahn were just too loved-up to be interesting any longer. Yes they had to tie up their external conflicts, but internally (and relationally) there was nothing left to fix or solve or overcome. Katahn wasn’t his witty, cocky, overbearing and dangerous (but still kind) self… he was instead a ball of lovey-dovey goo goo spider-eyes. The other vrix didn’t have much chance to shine—maybe one or two scenes with their banter (which I loved in the second book). The humans all got along way to well, too—even Cole. It was just vanilla through and through, which is really saying something in a book about a survivalist humans inter-species love story on a planet inhabited by spiders.

Phew! I finally was able to find the time to finish reading this trilogy! What an original and exciting adventure it was!
After the tragedy that happened at the end of Enthralled, Ketahn escapes Takarahl and finds his way back to his now endangered mate and tribe. The Somnium isn't safe anymore, with the continuous rain pouring, sign of the flood season, but also because the Queen has sent her Fangs and Claws after the tribe to hunt them down. Then starts a rough journey through the jungle to put as much distance from Takarahl as possible. Knowing that the Queen will never stop looking for them, that they will never be at peace, confrontation is inevitable. They'll have to make a choice; run forever, or turn around and face the danger trailing them.
First of all, I must say that I think it was a well written book with enough action, romance, comedy and steam to keep me entertained the whole way through. I did feel at times that the story was dragging a little bit, mostly in the middle part where nothing was really happening other than our characters journeying through the jungle. Instead of using all these pages for that, I would've preferred that the authors had used those pages to properly wrap up the story instead. Not that it was done poorly but at the end, in the epilogue, I just felt like there could've been more showing and less telling. The cut between the event of the last chapter and the epilogue was dissatisfying to me. I wanted more.
I wasn't too much of a fan of Ketahn in Enthralled because of his savior complex and stubborness...but here, he was way better. He finally realized that he wasn't alone and that he had the help of his loyal friends and relayed more tasks to them. He was protective and possessive as always but he showed a lot of tenderness too. I really liked him.
Ivy was again impeccable to me, brave, clever and compassionate. Something that I always like in Sci-Fi stories like that is how humans may seem weak at first glance but that their greatest skill is to adapt quickly to a situation to ensure their survival. I like how this quality was very true for Ivy. And as she was a sort of leader in her group of humans, the others also trusted her and followed her, adapting and helping each other.
I was happy to see that Ketahn and Ivy were as devoted to each other as they always been. As much as I thought there wasn't much to develop between them anymore, I really enjoyed all their moments, the tender and the steamy ones. Strangely, but not really, they reminded me of my favorite couple from Broken Earth, which is probably why I loved them so much together.

Overall, I think this book was pretty good. It didn't make me feel as frustrated as the one before it. There was some dragging here and there but nothing that necessarily bored me. I liked the ending, although I still think there could've been more pages to really wrap up the story after the final showdown. Great trilogy! I'm also really excited for Rekosh, Telok and Urkot's standalones. I will definitely read them all when they come out.

This is the conclusion to Ivy and Ketahn’s story and I really enjoyed this one a lot. After the dramatic finale of the previous book here we get to deal with the fallout from that. The Queen now aware of the humans wants them exterminated and Ketahn will go to the ends of the earth taking his female and the other humans far away and on a dangerous journey straight into enemy lands if it offers any hope saving his mate from her wrath. The enemy of my enemy is my friend is the logic behind this bold move and this tentative strand is the hope they are all clinging on too.
This ragtag group of Vrix and humans finally become a tribe as they undertake their perilous trip across a hostile landscape with the Queen and her warriors in hot pursuit. This shared experience of endurance strength and unity only bonding them further together as one solid unit.
This was such a good read and this new world the humans find themselves now inhabiting is so very intriguing. Connections between characters are further forged here with some breadcrumbs being dropped and Ivy and Ketahn are both stronger than ever in their devotion towards one another.
I loved the final showdown with the Queen it needed to happen. I also appreciated the further developments that occur between Ivy and Ketahn and their shared future together so heartwarming. This really is such a unique series that I’ve enjoyed immensely and I definitely can’t wait to read other stories set in this fascinating alien world.

Bound was, simply put, everything you'd expect as the final book in a trilogy. It picks up from where the second book leaves off, and includes tons of action, adventure, some more relationship development and, of course, a lot of that alien romance + smut.
Now, if I had to be 100% honest, I'd just admit that I don't think that Ivy and Ketahn's story really merited three books to get told. Like, seriously, there's quite a few skimmable/skippable moments in all of the books, mostly the ones that follow this pattern:
Journey --> getting distracted/wandering off/finding something deceptively interesting --> getting attacked by some wild beast of the Tangle --> fighting and killing said beast --> but then one or more people get injured, which means slowing down the journey for a short time until they heal.
Um....yes, this happens in book Books 2 and 3, so establishing it as a pattern is almost too easy. Since I knew that Ivy and Ketahn would have to survive these encounters no matter what, it really didn't make them worth reading, and therefore I have deemed them "skippable".
That's ultimately what helped me to get through this book so fast, as it's the longest of the three. And, for what it's worth, I think it really is a good book, especially that climax (which I won't spoil, but let's just say it's a David and Goliath moment) and then the epilogue at the end. I also love love LOVE that the authors are leaving room open for a few standalone books focusing on the other couples, so I'll be looking forward to that and keeping track of it to get back to later on.
All in all, this is a world that I may return to, someday. Not the absolute best alien romance I've ever read, but it's up there as definitely being good.

Now, if I had to be 100% honest, I'd just admit that I don't think that Ivy and Ketahn's story really merited three books to get told. Like, seriously, there's quite a few skimmable/skippable moments in all of the books, mostly the ones that follow this pattern:
Journey --> getting distracted/wandering off/finding something deceptively interesting --> getting attacked by some wild beast of the Tangle --> fighting and killing said beast --> but then one or more people get injured, which means slowing down the journey for a short time until they heal.
Um....yes, this happens in book Books 2 and 3, so establishing it as a pattern is almost too easy. Since I knew that Ivy and Ketahn would have to survive these encounters no matter what, it really didn't make them worth reading, and therefore I have deemed them "skippable".
That's ultimately what helped me to get through this book so fast, as it's the longest of the three. And, for what it's worth, I think it really is a good book, especially that climax (which I won't spoil, but let's just say it's a David and Goliath moment) and then the epilogue at the end. I also love love LOVE that the authors are leaving room open for a few standalone books focusing on the other couples, so I'll be looking forward to that and keeping track of it to get back to later on.
All in all, this is a world that I may return to, someday. Not the absolute best alien romance I've ever read, but it's up there as definitely being good.

This finale to the Spider’s Mate trilogy was a satisfying ending to a series that has worked both as a successful sci-romance series and as a pretty decent sci-fi first contact/survival story set in a well drawn and interesting alien world.
I’m definitely a fan of this series. I think the Tiffany Roberts husband and wife writing team have an engaging writing style and they really nail the balance between the sci-fi aspects of the story, the romance, and the worldbuilding. It all blended to make a very compelling read. So much so that I’ve binged the whole trilogy back to back and barely been able to put it down!
I’ve shared my general thoughts in earlier reviews so will just mention that this whole series has been very consistent in quality over the three books.
The plot was fun enough in this finale. Ivy, Kethan, and the rest of their new tribe were fleeing the murderous spider Queen and her Claws and Fangs after the shocking events at the conclusion of the second instalment. It made for a fun tale as we got a sci-fi survival thriller that was still very character driven. I especially enjoyed the developing bonds we seen between the various characters of this new tribe as they spent time together and worked towards keeping each other alive!
This series has a few flaws but they were mostly pretty easy to overlook so I ended up loving this whole trilogy. Weird and not what I was expecting when I picked it up but definitely very good!
While this story very much had a definite ending and one that was satisfying I’d not be averse to more tales set in this intriguing sci-fi world if the authors ever decide to write them. Even if the series movies away from Ivy and Kethan as leads I think there is a lot of potential for more tales in this world!

Audio Note: Audio Note: This had duel narration from Marcus Rayne and Macie Miller. As with the first book we got Marcus for the Kethan POV segments and Macie for the Ivy POV segments. The exception to the rule was Marcus handled all male dialogue while Macie did all the female dialogue regardless of the POV. I do really liked that production choice as it keeps the character voices consistent. Of the two narrators I liked Marcus Rayne the best. He seemed suitably alien in his voice choices and seemed better able to emote with his voice. Macie Miller was not awful. She had a pretty voice but was a tad wooden and unnatural at times with her delivery. I’ve gotten used to her performance.

Alas, the conclusion to this addictive and surprisingly well-written story about an alien spider-man and his little human love has arrived. Whatever will I read to fill this hole in my reading life now? I was using this series as a balm to all of the darkness in my tbr and now I’m at a loss. If you have any recs throw ‘em at me.
It took me a bit longer to finish this one because the pacing felt slower than the two previous books. There was a lot of time spent preparing for the long awaited battle with the queen with not a lot happening in the meantime. Still a good ending to the trilogy, this is not me complaining. I’d give this one a 3 1/2 but am bumping it up for GR.

We pick up right after that gut wrenching cliffy. Ella is dead, Ahnset is supposed to lead the queen to the other humans, and Ketahn is being held prisoner. The good news is that this is the last book, so no more cliffy-s… the bad news is that much of this book is carryover of the continued “saving his tribe” filler introduced in the last book.

I found the flow of this one slow. I suppose it’s not any slower than Enthralled… I was just ready for something different. There’re a few violent/action scenes sprinkled in, and things finally pick up around 70%.
Bottom Line- OK, I like the story, but IMO this would’ve worked better as a duet as much of books 2 and 3 felt like filler. It’s a beautiful love story, I just wished it was paced better. Forward motion is slow going, but then I felt rushed at the end. The final battle is pretty epic, but then the book is almost over. I wanted more page-time after the resolution, we’ve spent almost 1000 pages with these characters, I wanted to see more of their future… and how the other humans ended up. I still recommend this to any sci-fi fans.

I'm gonna be honest here, but do it with the knowledge that I have different preferences than others: to me, the pregnancy subplot ruined the whole thing for me. It was so unnecessary and brought absolutely nothing to the table other than something for baby-lovers to squee over. It felt like they were saying, "see? they're normal lovers! they can even have a baby!" which is so unnecessary. I loved the other two books in this series, and I was sad to see it go down this road. I hope that the other books they write about the vrix don't include this arbitrary pregnancy. My fingers are crossed.

Still weird, but still drags. The weird is good but the filler is painful. I got tired of seeing something happen and then having to sit through the hero's inner monologue summarizing it followed by the heroines inner dialogue. If all the fluff in each book was cut, this could have been a solid duology series instead of a mediocre trilogy

Y con Bound finalizo la trilogía del hombre araña. Nunca creí que llegaría a leer estos libros (considerando mi fobia) pero la verdad es que me sorprendieron gratamente. Me encontré con una trama interesante, una historia de amor (sí, romance) muy bonita y con personajes entrañables.
Me encantó el grupo que se formó entre los humanos y los vrix, como a pesar de ser tan diferentes y la barrera del lenguaje lograron ser una familia. Ketahn e Ivy definitivamente son almas gemelas, juntos me encantan y están realmente hechos el uno para el otro. El final estuvo muy bueno y lo estaba esperando desde el primer libro, pinche reina maldita.
Cositas por las cuales no le di todas las estrellas: Primero, sentía que la parte del viaje fue muy larga y se volvió aaaaalgo tedioso. Y segundo, si bien me gustan las escenas spicy (y sorpresivamente aquí tenía unas muy buenas) hubieron varias que encontré innecesarias y solo alargaban el libro.
De todas formas, disfruté mucho de la historia y sus personajes. Como dije en la reseña del libro dos, estoy muy ansiosa por leer los libros de los compañeros de Ketahn.

Most of this book felt like a filler episode. This book could've been 200 pages less I really didn't care too much about the group and their backstories. Also, GIRL WHY WOULD YOU CHALLENGE THAT MONSTER THAT JUST BEAT YOUR MAN UP WHILE YOU'RE PREGNANT?!?!?! If plot armor wasn't a thing you wouldn't be alive.

Reading the 3rd part of this story turned into a slog. I finished book 2/part 2 in about 1 day and they are around the same length, but I think it took me all week to get through the 3rd book because I just wasn't compelled. I picked it up and put it down a lot and did other things, read other things, even though I *could* have read it really fast.
Another reviewer commented that Ketahn and Ivy get boring by book 3 because they are too loved up. I think that reviewer is right, even though I wanted to read a fluffy series and that is mostly what I got. They felt very protected by plot armor at this point, so the peril began to get boring and feel distant.
I found myself liking Ketahn less and less. I think this is mostly because the authors are not very good at writing complex characters, and that's fine for fiction in this genre if it provides entertainment. But the downside of that is that characters I project all these expectations for emotional development on, don't have that.
Ivy and Ketahn start out at about the same emotional level and just coast; Ivy is a magic cure all for all of Ketahn's problems just by existing and Ivy is the happiest she's ever been in her life doing whatever and being unrelatably resilient and saintly.
Also, I know this is part of the 'alpha male' romance trope and I know why it's appealing, but the whole 'don't touch my woman because of my overprotective and uncontrollable violent instincts ree' thing which Ketahn does made me tired.
I like a little possessiveness kink in certain contexts but when it's over the top like this it just feels both unintentionally funny and icky in that controlling abusive way that makes me uncomfortable seeing a character act and talk like that.
Other characters, I still liked them even when the writing itself got too boring, probably because they are 1-dimensional for me to project on to them something about how I want them to be. I love Ahnset and think she's awesome... in the end I kinda wished I had been reading a lesbian spider monster x spider monster romance with her as one of the MCs. Book about spider boyfriends made me consider investing in spider girlfriends-- sounds about right.
Despite all the things that made part 3 hard to read, I still enjoyed this story as a whole, but the story beats are easy to telegraph, so once the action started getting too predictable and the fun side-character interactions began to get too pedestrian, I started speed reading/skimming at about the 70% mark.
Aside from some sex scenes in the previous book, I hadn't done any skimming or speed reading up to this point, but I felt I wouldn't be able to finish it otherwise and I did want to see where all the story threads would lead to.
I still would read the hinted at sequel/spinoffs coming in future! Maybe one of those couples will be better than Ivy and Ketahn.
Oh yeah, and the cover art for all 3 books was fun. The energy matches the writing.

Bound is the third and final installment in the Spider Mate series. This is also the book in which Ketahn finaly challenges Zurvashi for his freedom.
Surprisingly, 90% of this book is Ketahn, Ivy, and their tribe preparing to fight Zurvashi. I found this to be the biggest downside of this story, as there is no real progression between the other Vrix and the human women (as started in the second book) and instead the majority of this book is Ketahn freaking out about how close Zurvashi must be and how they need to keep moving.
With that being said, I really don’t like when books, especially the last one, spend literally 90% of the time preparing for a huge battle. This leaves no room for the characters to have any downtime and, even with the positive outcome of the battle, the book ends so quickly that I’m left wondering what happens next for the main characters. Keep in mind that Zurvashi has been a threat to their relationship for three books now, so with her out of the way, it would have been a more satisfying ending if we had more time to see how Ivy and Ketahn grew. Instead, the ending felt very rushed, which it was, given that there are only about 10 pages to throw all of that in the book.
Overall this is a satisfying way to end the series, and hopefully we get a novella or something about them in the future. I will certainly be keeping an eye out for the standalone books regarding the Vrix and the human women, as I don’t think I can do another three book series where nothing is resolved until the end (I can’t stress this enough).
Lastly, and I know this is just personal preference, but having a child that’s half Vrix and half human was completely unnecessary. Not only because it doesn’t really add anything to the story, but because having to give birth to the child could, and probably should, have killed Ivy. The description of the child is also super confusing, and I’m going to need to see some fanart because I just can’t imagine a human birthing a spider child with two sets of arms and three sets of legs. Also, this likely means that all of the other women are going to get pregnant and I just *facepalm* would like one book where the aliens don’t have the ability to get the humans pregnant.

That was…some very powerful lust magic these two wove into the trilogy to get me to enjoy something so long and in depth about an alien Spider race.
Witches. The both of them.
This was a fantastic ending to a wholly beautiful trilogy.
Somehow, some way, these two manage to make aliens that look more creature than man, seem more human than humans…🧐if anybody understood that.
I mean I went through the whole gamut of emotions while reading this series and it was mostly because of the Vrix.
I was afraid. I was emotionally gutted. I was disgusted. I laughed. I cried. I even got a bit hot 🥵.(Vrix claiming is no joke people. That shit is some silk-shibari-alien hotness on a different level)
The politics and the culture and the world building were all so fascinating, and, most of the time, upsetting, that I couldn’t look away even while I cringed and silently pleaded with the authors to not go ‘there’.
I was truly skeptical about this, but after reading their kraken series and a few of their other books I really shouldn’t have been.
These two know exactly what they’re doing.
I mean, there was even a subtle ‘nudge nudge, wink wink’ to the ice planet barbarian craze that went on last summer.
I’m just astounded, truthfully.
And I can not wait to find out about the rest of the characters. Rekosk, Urkot, and Telok. And hopefully get more info on what’s happening with the rest of the tribe now that there’s relative peace.
It was a beautiful ending to this trilogy, but it was more of a beginning than anything else.
Like the prologue of darker times before the monster is defeated and the balance shifts. The start of a new colony.
I want to know what the rest of the book is like.

I didn't have me swooning over an alien spider on my 2024 dance card but here we are
Now there is no way this needed to be a trilogy, books 2 and 3 needed to be 1 because there's just so much damn filler..... just spoiling what could've been a truly fantastic read.
The story continues as Ketanh escaped the bitch queens clutches and must leave the Tangle and find safety for him, his mate and their new tribe
The journey to the enemy of Ketanh's ppl who may be their only hope
Bonding and perils along the way
Evil queen is in pursuit
Ivy is pregnant!!! 😁 human/spider baby
Final stance is made and the evil queen is defeated by Ketanh and his human mate

The others get their own books eventually so I'm excited for that and hope to see Ketanh and Ivy again

Now there is no way this needed to be a trilogy, books 2 and 3 needed to be 1 because there's just so much damn filler..... just spoiling what could've been a truly fantastic read.
The story continues as Ketanh escaped the bitch queens clutches and must leave the Tangle and find safety for him, his mate and their new tribe
The journey to the enemy of Ketanh's ppl who may be their only hope
Bonding and perils along the way
Evil queen is in pursuit
Ivy is pregnant!!! 😁 human/spider baby

I had hoped for more time with them and the baby but the authors focused so much page space on the beginning and the filler that the ending was just dropped on us
The others get their own books eventually so I'm excited for that and hope to see Ketanh and Ivy again

Better ending than I thought
For a hot minute there I was worried about where this book was going. But Roberts came through.
Ketahn and Ivy both had awesome growth arcs and had to face things that were tragic. I was so so mad at the end of book 2, but I also get why the authors did what they did.
The side characters were also complex and had their own little redemption arcs when they were necessary. The world building was on point. Can’t wait for the next books!

This trilogy was probably the most well written alien x human sci-fi romance I have ever read. The authors of these books did SO much justice with every single part. Romance? 10/10. World building? 10/10. Plot? 10/10!!! This trilogy has everything you could want. The romance is so unique & sweet whilst also being pretty hot 😏. The world building makes it to where you can even visualize everything you’re reading as if you are going through this journey with the other characters. The plot was phenomenal. The matriarchal society element of this was written so well & the conflict with it had my anxiety through the roof at a lot of times- but i was also buzzing with anticipation & thrill. These books tend to suck you in so much that you forget you’re even reading. I loved watching the humans fight for their own survival- literally cannot stress enough how I would have read this trilogy only for the plot bc it was just so intriguing and captivating. But thankfully, the romance delivers just as much! Very eager to read the stand-alones that will eventually come out featuring some of the characters I’ve grown to love😌

BOUND was a great conclusion to a series I never thought I would read but I guess I like spider heroes now (or Vrix as Kethan would insist). Ivy and Kethan, along with their tribe, are on the run from the evil Queen and I never would have predicted how things turned out but I really enjoyed the way it did. I'm not going to spoil things but hell yeah Ivy! That was a pulse pounding ending for sure.
We also got to learn a bit more about each of the humans in the group and I'm really excited for the spin off series featuring Lacey, Callie, and Ahmya. And Will and Diego having feelings for each other? Loved it!
This was a fantastic series that I know will stick with me for a while. It's so well paced, with interesting characters, a wild and lush setting, and an enduring romance between its lead characters.

Honestly, I am sort of in shock. I absolutely loved the first two books os this series, but with this one, I felt disappointed. The beginning was slow. It gave us the storybackground. But it did it with so much repetitive detail, I was finding myself easily distracted. Then as the story progresses and we are finally getting somewhere, more unnecessary verbiage as the whole repetitive thoughts and feelings of the characters begin again. I recommend the series, but be warned that HEA takes a while to get to in the last book.

Wow... I just finished the trilogy and now I am speechless. This third and final book was... perfection. It was everything that I expected but also that I didn't expect. I usually can guess endings and such things but I truly had no idea how the third book would unfold and I am grateful for it because it made me experience everything more fiercely. I laughed, I cried, I got scared for the characters and I was... happy! This trilogy brings me so much joy and I loved every second of it!
There are some authors out there that fuck up the ending of their series but I knew that it wouldn't happen in this book because these two fantastic writers can WRITE! And I was right. This was amazing! And I am glad to end the year 2021 with the ending of one of my favorite trilogy out there! Thank you Tiffany Roberts for creating this masterpiece! It was totally worth the wait and I can't wait to read your future books!
